Wedge is fugly. Back of that iron looks like the Miura wedges in may bag. What happened to the vagina Epon used to put on the back of those Personals?

Obviously Kobyoshi hasn't returned to Epon.......

The blades look like a set of PRGR blades I picked up a few years back.

I was looking for the least forgiving, smallest blade with reg flex graphite shafts to

practice with/hit off of mats with. CT-510 I believe. Trust me when I tell you they

are not forgiving. I'm not convinced they have a sweet spot!!

Wow. Hmmmmm, just not sure about either club, at all. At least if I want to have a steak on the course mid-round, I can bring out these knives. That wedge is just...interesting...

Assuming these are limited similar to the original Personal iron.

There are small very odd spikes in interest in Japan for cult clubs. About 1.5-2years ago there was one for that old Lynx wedge with lots of offset, this seems to be a late response to that.

The wedge and the irons seem to be from a JDM wayback machine from the late 80s.

I actually like that blade.

Might there be some hidden tech in the irons? Tungsten to move weight around or semi-hollow construction? Otherwise these look almost like blanks with the Epon logo smacked on.

Kinda looks like they rounded off a KZG ZO blade (which I've always loved the look of).

Between these and the new wedges, it's almost like they're trying to go after Honma's old market.

I thought I read the specs wrongly.... hmmm really have to see how the offset looks at set-up?

I seem to recall that JDM uses the term different for offset. It used to be, FP or sometihng. i think according to Tario's explanation, the higher the value, the less offset it is. So does the Japanese spec and English spec tell the same picture? Someone should dig up Tario's old post on the subject.

According to Epon's site, the higher numbers seem to indicate more offset.

Using a 5i for example:

Tour - 3.0

302 - 3.2

503 - 4.0

702/703 - 5.5

Isn't this the same way that Miura lists the specs, in mm?

O course, please let me know if I'm wrong on this. Blonde...
