needmoregolf
Gorgeous project D! Can't wait to see them in person! Thanks bud, range session will be in order soon once these are built so we can check out all the new gears. What if Modart could CNC a solid block of copper into a head?? hmmmm, now THAT would be something! I have a bunch of Epon Coppers. My favorite set is my AF301's. I head down into the dungeon every month or so just to wipe my oily sweaty hands on them in an effort to get them to darken, patina. I'll snap a couple of pics off but the camera just can't do a copper finish justice. Please do! One question tho: why not just play them to get that great patina'd look?? lol That is going to be a sweet setup D....can't wait to borrow them from you ;) Thanks bro...yeah, we can test these against those new blades you're getting ;) Edited September 6, 2014 by needmoregolf
1dirtypanda
don't have any good pics of my copper with monacos. in any case, the six iron has a spb shaft in it at the moment bc i was testing it. here's a pic of when i originally pulled the old shafts and prepped all of the heads. J, so classic, I honestly think Epon set the stage for copper for iron sets. Post some recent pics if you ever get the chance.

chiromikey
Chiromikey I have a set of 302s with Monaco's X flex SS1x as well. I'll have to find pics and post them. Most will be shocked that they're my backups to my Personals. After my season is done i think I'll have to break them out again and get them dialed in. Where'd you get those ferrules???! I found those ferrules on ebay. They're a red marble like finish...pretty cool!

needmoregolf
Still get that warm and fuzzy feeling I get from all these pics every time I roll my Yamada that Golds restored and refined for me. Now this would be the perfect candidate for a copper putter in the bag....very very nice my friend!
RLL33
Thanks. When I play the Yamada, I also substitute my old Cally copper 64-deg wedge for my Miura 64K. Gives me the feeling of copper for the day. Sure do like the looks of the Epon copper irons though...
potuna
For the putter nothing beats solid copper.
