Posted September 9, 201410 yr Long overdue, many have been asking, I don't know why I waited so long to bring it in, the shape is unique, feel is unique, I just love this putter the way it is, I can't imagine what Gold's could do taking this a step further. Modart fans rejoice! It's definitely as good as the rest of their gear. One of the most interesting thing's about Modart is how they mill S25C from a solid block without it being forged, this creates a unique dense and soft feel known only to Modart clubs
September 9, 201410 yr oooooooooooh dear i just cant do that sole.thats what golds cud do.. "fix " that part of it, the rest looks awosme, kinda reminds me of the original EPONi33. id love to hit this .
September 9, 201410 yr Does look kinda nice as is, some creative shaded paint fill on the sole, the heart on the face heel covered with a billet with G on it. The only negative i have about the mod gear is the made in Japan stamp.
September 9, 201410 yr "One of the most interesting thing's about Modart is how they mill S25C from a solid block without it being forged, this creates a unique dense and soft feel known only to Modart clubs" Ala Bettinardi?
September 9, 201410 yr Please pardon my ignorance but I don't see anything original or unique about the putter. Don't get me wrong, it's as beautiful as the next but that's just my point.
September 9, 201410 yr This looks a bit ho hum compared to their other offerings..... needs the edges machined, this example just looks like sooo many others and has no face technology to differentiate it. Bet it feels nice though
September 9, 201410 yr Author To me this is a unique shape but I've also got a discerning eye compared to most. some can pick apart an iron or wedge for a handful of little differences in shape and thicknesses, top line etc... But when it comes to putters they go blind. If you don't see it, need not apply. Id say this is the best shaped answer TSG offers.

September 9, 201410 yr Was not aware of that, I wonder if the two feel the same. Milled in the USA. Send one to me and I will let you know. Edited September 9, 201410 yr by ukok
September 9, 201410 yr Author gotta ask, any chance its available without the sightline? No it's not I'm sorry.
September 10, 201410 yr Most of the custom makers I know of mill from the billet. This is nice looking and in a similar neighborhood, price-wise, to the custom putter makers. With this, you don't get the made-for-you aspect, but there are probably only 12-15 or so makers that do truly custom anyway. For instance, as far as I know, Bettinardi's customs only allow for modification of stamping, sight lines, etc, whereas the truly custom makers will create anything you want. Again, this is nice. I especially like the finish.

September 10, 201410 yr Chris, to your point, many do forge and then mill. My beloved Miura is made that way, and I believe Epon does the same.
September 10, 201410 yr Not sure many brands mill from a billet of S20C or 25 though? Maybe they are, not sure. I thought SS was more common
September 10, 201410 yr More or less a 'Dale head' design? I can live with the sole since I rarely see it when I put. Nice looking putter!
September 20, 201410 yr Same here, definitely eyeing the putter :) I also saw a mid-mallet type on FB? These coming?
