they frequencied 5 of them between 330 and 400 cpm.

with diff ehads, really coo lthe got a cpl of scotty circle t putters in there so can test the ebst of the ebst.

first time ive ever used a circle t.

very diff feel to the dogatti. didn't mute the head as much and wasn't as tight.

the stealth carbon look is all business of course.

and it made the head really noticeable.

I preferred the slightly tighter CPM model

of course these arnt for most guys but if u want to match the best with the best, then sure, its a goer.

I think its a nicer feel over all than the dog..... but its also more than twice the price.

Do you know if they use some unique composition in the material like they do with the Dogatti using tungsten powder?

or is it essentially the same construction as their Driver shafts?

Pricing "twice as Dogatti" suggests 50,000 JPY or higher, I am guessing?

It would also be interesting to see what kind of fitting questions they will have for their putter shafts.

its the same as the wood shafts, u get it made to what ever u like ,and keep going price wise upward of 90k.

I first tried it in an Odyssey Proto putter at 7D HQ.

Also tried it in a scotty at the golf show as well as this creature:

CoolDamaskus. Looks lovely! Who makes it? I remember running around in Tad Moore's work shop around 1997 seeing the first Damaskus putters on a shelf. I wanted one so badly but the were all sold pre assembly. Envy.

No idea on the putter, damascus bugs me it's really just a laminated graphic or at best layered in during the making of the metal it's not the real damascus from back in the day.

Also notice the neck is a different piece than the body, if you wanna go high end make it 1 piece and if you want to get fancy with a neck weld cut off the neck and weld it back on instead of producing the head without a neck and adding it. sorry for rant!

but yes this putter looks pretty cool I will ask 7D about it.

You know best Chris. I think Tad said his heads were made "the real ancient way" snd thus very costly but I also have a tendecy to always believe what people tell me.

That's a shame, I just installed a teramoto shaft in my Zen and it made the putter feel even more incredible.

Anyone else who have tried this shaft and came to the same conclusion? or are there better graphite shafts out there?

 

I have a friend is using Dogatti on his Zen, and he said it is incredible.

This shaft is the real deal!

I tipped my Dogatti 2 inches then put it inside my Ryoma p3. currently it is being gamed at 35 inches and it is a total beast. The shaft is so steady and I feel like my stroke is soo stable! The feel is rather numb compared to other shafts but with the Ryoma it is actually not bad at all! I feel like the ball doesnt skid as much. 

The only bad thing about it is that the butt is so thick that you cannot fit any counterweight down the shaft - or well you can but it has to be very thin. :)

I'm always 0.5-1 degree closed at impact but i still feel that it rolls more purely.

The hosel of the putter was too big to be honest.. I bougt the putter used. =) 

I have heard that Golds do tip these shafts 2 inches, not sure how true that is. Thats bloody stiff for sure..

When Sasaya-san built a custom IPT Ibushi for me,  he did tip the shaft 2 "  or so.    CPM was well above 500 ... I was able to feel the impact more directly .    I unfortunately dont have that putter any longer,  but I have two Geo Galaxy putters with the same shaft.    On those putters,  I did not tip them but they still feel as if my hands are directly connected to the putter head .    I used to use Nippon heavy shaft ,  but for me  Dogatti gives me more control and consistency.
