Special thanks to member Chiromikey for collaborating with us on this design!

It's a very cool concept iron, the set in these photos are one of a kind.

The concept is a strong lofted MB with a PW at 44* This is awesome because it also allows us to use the same mold PW and bend it into a 50* AW the benefit of this is another approach club part of the same set that has the same feel and appearance as the rest of your irons for improved consistency and flow.

This is becoming a club hoarders' torturing forum!

Just after signing up for the Shinagawa blades, I see this post!

Darn... so many great new options and so little budget to work with.

Why strong lofted but zero offset?

It's got offset just very little also strong lofts don't go against minimal offset.

strong lofts means more distance but also a lower trajectory on a blade with a slightly lower CG than other blades as planned it averages it out.

Most important was by strengthening the lofts it allowed us to add a set matching AW because we used the #3 mold to produce the #4 and so fourth.

Well mikey, are you gonna tell us how these feel/play or whaaaat??!! ;)

He dont have them yet, nor do I we are still working on the final product. Its been over a year already on this one.

Loft numbers stamped on the bottom mean nothing!

Todays lofts are way stronger than traditional ones.

What matters are that the gaps work. A matching 50* A wedge

is a great result. Heads look great too!

You have no idea how I've anticipated these! I hope to have a set in burning copper if everything works out!

You know, when we first talked about this and you swore me to secrecy, I didn't know I'd have to keep my mouth shut for this long! I bet if I went to a psychiatrist he'd affirm that some of my binge drinking was a direct result of not being able to talk about these!

Hmmmmm to me , they are slightly like a non gooseneck yonex ezone shinagawa ishikawa blade in my eyes

Initially reminded me also of the Ezone MB.

does the back face channel contribute to adding slight forgiveness?

I have other prototypes using the exact same mold as the yonex ezones but found those to be just decent in feel and forgiveness. We used a larger head mold for this particular design and now its much softer and more forgiving.

keep in mind this is just a one off here fellas, insipiration was the Yonex Ezone as you can see in the milled channel.
