TMMike
royal collection super c.v. b.b.d. super s.s. pro best fairway wood i've ever hit, hands down andy Is this the same Royal Collection fw that TSG is selling at their webstore? I've never hit this fw or the TS F-Series before but would love to! I'm looking to replace my TM V-Steel 13* because I just can't get it off the deck as well as I would like. I think I need a deeper face on my 3 wood. And any input on these fws would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! _________________________________________________ Titleist 983K 8.5* w/ DG X-100 @ 43.5" TM V-Steel TS 13* w/ Rifle Tour Flighted 6.5 @ 43" TS MR-23 U.S. Spec CB 3-PW w/ DG X-200 Titleist Vokey LW 60* w/ Special Grind (Japanese Forged) TM Tour Performance SW 56* TM RAC Black GW 52* TM Rossa TP Modena 4-02 34" Titleist Pro V-1X
Godfather1
I don't think a deeper face is the answer, as this usually keeps your ball flight a bit lower for better control. I would try something with a little more loft.
Breal
Yea if you cant get the ball up the 13* is two low of a loft with your steel 6.5 with the steel that is stiff with a 13* probally turns it into a 11or 12* maybe go with more loft or change to weaker or different kickpoint shaft thats just my opinion. But im still want to know what people think about whats the best fairway wood out in Japan or anywhere its cool to hear what everybody thinks. lightrider
I haven't heard of a bad RC wood. People are/were dumping them on ebay for fantatic deals. For me the FS-t is the most forgiving and longest wood.

The GD proto is a killer for me on par with the F-ST, I just dont wanna give it praise if their is no solid answer if it will be released or not. I really hope it will because I have to return this puppy in July

alohano
Tourstage MR-23 US Spec Spoon. For someone who really isn't a TS fan, it's still in my bag as the longest and straightest 3 wood I have ever used.
shoe295
MR-23 at 15* is amazing...not as forgiving as the Launcher's but holy moly if I'm swinging at all well it goes as far as my driver!...
FAQ
Either the Tourstage MR-23 FW's or the F's. The F gets the nod for forgiveness, but the MR is like a mini Maru and Long!

The Rifle was simply too stiff for my swing, so I replaced it with a DG S300 before the weekend, and absolutely KILLED it off the deck! Played the Links @ Hiawatha where they'll play the Monday qualifier for the B.C. Open in July, and not only smoked it straight and long off the fw, but drove it great off the tee all day long. Only pulled the driver out of the bag for the par 5s! Oh, and the best news was I finally trounced my sister's boyfriend for the first time in a long time...haha! Thanks Breal! And btw, Maru thinks the V-Steel is the best 3 wood for a USGA set-up, since that was in his bag @ Shinnecock Hills - not a TS!!! ___________________________________________ Titleist 983K 8.5* w/ DG X-100 @ 43.5" TM V-Steel TS 13* w/ DG S-300 @ 43" TS MR-23 U.S. Spec CB 3-PW w/ DG X-200 Titleist Vokey LW 60* w/ Special Grind (Japanese Forged) TM Tour Performance SW 56* TM RAC Black GW 52* TM Rossa TP Modena 4-02 34" Titleist Pro V-1X

primo
I haven't hit the Mr-23 FW, I did own the driver for a while. I have been playing a Kasco DNA FS for about 6 months now. I really liked it in the beginning, I haven't been pulling it lately because I've been hitting my driver so well. I'm actually more acurate with the driver than I am with the 3 wood. The FS is an absolute cannon. The feel is pretty nice, although it's simply getting a little too loud for my taste. I thought I wouldn't mind it in the beginning, just because the performance was so good. I just bought a RC BBD type H, which I'm know I'll love. I've hit it before and really liked the feel. Very similar to the MARU. ie very solid. I'll post a review with some pics after I've had a chance to take her out for a few rounds. So far so good, the club is absolutely beatiful. Had trouble hitting the Callaways, they all want to turn left! I hit a greeer from 231 out, into the wind on one of the toughest holes on the hardest course I play yesterday.
