Wondering if anyone knows the difference in the specs between the American J-Spec and the Japanese Eldik model. I'm talking putters. Thanks.

There has been a lot written on this issue. You should do a Search on some of those keywords and you will find a ton of info.

I am currently use an Eldik purchased right here and it's wonderful. I couldn't more strongly recommend any piece of golf equipment.

If you aren't familiar with the story behind J and US Gauge, take a look. You'll determine that there is absolutely no comparison.

i have a jspec and a prototype gunmetal eldik and the eldik is perfect for me. my dad saw the jspec in my garage, took it, and he makes everything with it. my biggest problem with the jspec was the glare. there were no quality issues that i could see with the jspec but other people here have had some quality issues. good luck.

I tried to search on this the other day, but I think the post was either deleted or lost when the new board went up. Couldn't find it (the one w/GaugeDesignGal, etc.)

Hipcheck - Great Avatar as usual.

Basically the post about Gauge America went something like this. Gauge America is a rip off of the originals started by a disgruntled former employee. The real deal is the Japan Gauge stuff, no comparison in quality, craftsmanship and design.

I think the site is on a 4-6 month auto prune mode, If I don't auto prune when I upgrade the site to its next whatever It takes weeks instead of days :money:
