  1. Great review Nobs! For next year I have a set of idbl's with Modus 120S and a set of Honma 727V with KBS $-taper (along with the other sets...). I love the look of the idbl's, but have never played them, and the Honma's look so easy to hit. Given the fact that I hit about 10 balls per year on the range, the Honmas may be the ones I play the most. We'll see in late May/early June when courses around here are worth playing again. How do the 1008 compare in size to the 1006? I found them to be a bit too big.
  2. Thanks Stew! I have one more and they are really good in fw I find.
  3. Ok - moving time. Whole club - 250 + actual shipping.
  4. These are back up for sale. Apparently 10000000 % sold is not quite sold. Anyways, things happen. So, they are back up for sale. Steal them for 500 + shipping. Insane.
  5. 150? Wedges/putter could be something to trade me with
  6. Have you noticed that the forum is slowly crawling up from under its rock? I think it is about to be alive again. TBC
  7. Looks like it. But who made the blanks?

    SOLD

Ian, I have not hit the 435 but based on the reviews of it, the 450 is much easier to hit. It has mid launch, big sweet spot and a lovely shape. Soft feel. I had it with a Crazy Boron. I’m sure Hutchy has had a few 435 and can compare better.

    SOLD

I've also had that head. Don't quite know why I sold it (either). Great looking head!
  10. Beautiful lot there Vic!
  11. They are beautiful Hutchy! I hope they find a great new home. I’m still gaming my 2009 Yamaha Tourmodel. Next yesr they will go into retirement though but I will probably keep them. They’ve served me well.
  12. I always thought that hookers needed stiffer shafts too but I was never too sure.
  13. Are you volonteering as new mod Ian? Awesome!
  14. That shaft is beautiful!
  15. Chris, I'll digest anything on JDM stuff. Obviously fun when new stuff is coming out. Looking back 5-6 years when there was loads of action, it often originated from you Chris (and T if we go back a little longer) with insights, mods, reports from the plants/interviews with designers, reviews on clubs/shafts/shoes/grips/food/Japanese $7 eggs/A12 Kobe/Hibiki/T1100/DAT55g and so forth. Without that we don't have enough people to carry the forum. I.e. we need the insights and instigations. IMHO and to be blunt, what killed the forum, and what probably killed your interest in running it a bit too, was that you were perhaps a bit too opinionated. When people questioned that it turned into rants and attacks on persons right, left and center. People were banned and the good ol' fun was lost. It is a fine line - I quite appreciate your honest opinions about equipment and the people behind them, but it did get over the top sometimes. Obviously. But, to get back to somewhere close to where we were I would advocate more reviews on primarily golf equipment, interviews, and anything Japanese to support the pure golf, and certainly your insights into the JDM world along with mods from the TSG Studio etc. I also really miss your photo blasts from Japan, Italy etc. You take great pictures of great things and fantastic food. Putting someone else as moderator would turn it into something different from what it was. Not sure that would be great. Great reviews and analytics could easily be moded by Noboru though. He'd just need to get his hands on everything first (I'm sure he would oblige before passing it on to me) ? My 2 cents
  16. Ok, $225 for this beauty (head) and beast (shaft).
