Buy/Sell/Trade (BST) Forum Rules & Guidelines

This section is a privilege for our community members to safely buy, sell, and trade used golf equipment. Please read and follow these rules carefully—violations may result in post removal or account suspension.

1. Posting in the Correct Forum

• The BST main section is strictly for used Japanese golf clubs only.

• There are two sub-forums:

  • USDM Gear For Sale – for U.S. Domestic Market (USDM) gear.

  • Want To Buy (WTB) – for members looking for specific items.

• Posts in the wrong section will be deleted without warning.

2. Listing Requirements

Each listing must include:
✅ A clear asking price (no "make an offer" posts).
✅ A detailed and accurate description of the club, including condition, loft, shaft, grip, and any modifications.
✅ At least three clear images of the actual item (front, back, sole).
✅ A verification photo: One image must include a handwritten note with your forum username and date of listingnext to the item.

⚠️ Failure to include the above from the start will result in immediate post removal. No placeholders or "photos coming later" posts.

3. Restrictions on Listings

🚫 No selling for profit or commercial listings—retailers, shops, and bulk resellers are not allowed.
🚫 No component clubs, clones, counterfeit, or fake golf equipment.
🚫 No new or unused products—BST is strictly for used items.
🚫 No linking to eBay, other forums, or external websites.
🚫 No "bumping" posts to keep them at the top—repeated bumps may result in a ban.
🚫 All items must have a sale price.

4. Best Practices for Safe Transactions

🔹 Use PayPal Goods & Services (not Friends & Family) for secure transactions.
🔹 Never send money via wire transfer, Venmo, CashApp, or untraceable methods.
🔹 Do not share personal or financial details publicly—use private messaging.
🔹 Buyers should request tracking numbers and use verified shipping methods.

5. Closing Your Listing

• Once an item is sold or a request is fulfilled, update the topic title with "SOLD" or "FOUND".

• This helps keep the forum clean and organized.

6. Forum Disclaimer

TSG is not responsible for any transactions conducted in the BST section. We encourage members to use caution, verify sellers, and trade responsibly.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in post removal, account suspension, or banning from BST.
