This guy over on WRX is adamant

    True that. Wise words.
  3. Fantastic. Those drivers are sick!
  4. Well say you swing very fast and make sub par contact on a couple of occasions with a firm ball in 10*C weather. Still no worries?
  5. What's the cutoff temperature when using high modulus carbon graphite shafts? What is "too cold". What temp will put them at risk of damaging or snapping? This is an important question for us who live in colder climates. Tario? Chris?
  6. The only thing I do not like about the Egg 7 is that the face appears to be slightly closed at address and I end up hitting too many hooks. Other than that, I like everything about it. Sound is refreshing for a change, feel is actually quite nice when you pure it, etc.
  7. Is Epon releasing a standard tour staff bag for 2012?
  8. Those are really classy looking but the price is beyond ridiculous. I have a Rimowa luggage from Germany - massive polycarbonate partially hand made that costs the same.
  9. Where do I find these Mizuno kinoshohanpu bags?
  10. Any idea? I was looking at Epon's new ones for 2012 but I'd probably rather have an Epon Staff bag, eventually. Anyway, does Ozio make a high quality stand bag? Tourstage? Miura? Anyone care to chime in? Thanks.
  11. I have the Razr Fit and it feels ok to me but man it is a VERY good, long driver. I have it paired with the Diamana X in XX and it's the best shaft i've ever hit. It's unbelievably straight and extremely long. Low low launch, low low low spin and yet you can still work the ball in either direction. Best shaft i've ever used for sure. Crazy Black 50 is good, but not this good.
  12. I got it back! Got a call two days later and someone left it on the front step. Guess my plastering of signs worked out!! VERY happy!
  13. That's unbelievable. f**king loser people like that... there's no place for them.
  14. Yep sadly I have to agree with you. Times have definitely changed. It's a much more "me me me" world today. Sucks but it's true. I appreciate keeping an eye open for it! $500 for a slip up is a lot to swallow.
  15. Unfortunately no. I can't believe someone would just take a wedge they found a range, home with them and not take it to the pro shop.
  16. Hi, I was at the Tee Time driving range yesterday here in Santa Barbara/Carpenteria and when I got home, I realized my 52* custom made Gold's Factory wedge was missing. I'm pretty bummed. I'm not sure if there's anyone on this forum who is from around this area, but just in case, I thought i'd post this. I'll give you a reward if you have it and return it. Please call me - 805 845 1492 Appreciate it. Rob.
  17. Love my Egg 7. Hottest driver i've ever hit. Thing just bullets off the face. Good feel, ok sound (a bit pingy) low low spin, low/mid launch. I don't find it hard to hit in the least and i'm not expert with the driver although I have improved a lot. My only real gripe is that I find it the face to be just slightly closed at address and I tend to hook the ball more than i'd like. Other than that it's a real winner. Looks great too.
  18. Nice. Never heard of a Zagato - what does it mean?
  19. I've just been hitting all my irons this past week. Overall the Modus 3 TX shafts are the best i've ever played. They are just unbelievably accurate, highish but low spinning - they're as automatic as they come. The Nippon Super Peening Blues are also awesome - slightly better feeling than the Modus' I would say but maybe slightly less accurate. Both are fantastic though. Matrix Program 130s - Very high launch, med-high spin, soft and accurate... especially for graphite. Recommended if you need higher launch. TT Monacos - Again, very very accurate, good feel, mid-high height, lowish spin. Can't go wrong with any of these. I've never played the KBS C-Tapers.
  20. Not even a question, 458 Italia. Maybe if I were 65 i'd go with the Vanquish but i'm a diehard Ferrari guy, through and through.
  21. Any feedback on the Labospec driver?
  22. Ah damn. Great looking bag (and shaft!). Oh well. Hahah, and no, no bad experiences with mascots in the past.
  23. Plus it seems you'd still get all kinds of nicks and dings on the clubs.
  24. Agreed and mascots are worthless.
  25. I have the 2011 Onoff forged irons but I don't have iron covers for them. Onoff sells this thing as their iron cover. How does it work? Do you just cover all the clubs under the same thing? If so, how do the clubs get protection from dinging one another? Let me know. Appreciate it!
