  1. had my first real course session with the rep. sometimes its better not to know. had one of the worst rounds of golf in my life:( what a stubborn guy i am. i am putting the rep for sale for the sake of my game.
  2. well i have never hit a ryoma , it was on my top list in the recent weeks but having hit the jbeams and currently gaming a 380cc epon and a 405cc yamaha, my preference for driver heads has become for smaller heads and the 460s are looking very big and unappealing to the eye. since you are looking for a lower launching driver with more roll then you really cant go wrong with the jbeam 435 or crazy 435 (same) as they are known for being roll monsters, sometimes too much thats why its important to shaft if with a higher launching lower spin shaft. as others have suggested you can get the lowest launching head and pairing it with a higher launching shaft. then again they launch low anyways so i would suggest 435 10* with say a crazy LY or Royal deco shaft in your comfortable 50 + weight.
  3. oh reason for selling is moving to an SX flex.
  4. Guys i have a fex in my backup driver yamaha 405d. it is 75S and has not been tipped plays 45" . if there is an interest i will pull it out and ship via ems. heres a photo with a cam phone, i will shoot high res pics when i get home. this is like new and has been sparingly used in my backup. 450 shipped via EMS. willing to trade for a 435 + cash on my end.
  5. hey C! what else do you have? happen to have a crazy 435, 435II?
  6. 435I jbeam or the crazy 460. the epon 102 is on the highish launch so id suggest 9.5 with a lower launching shaft. then again most R flex shafts in the 50grammer range will launch higher than say their 60 70 gram siblings.
  7. found this interesting article on the net about the way some of the pga pros practice on their spare time. also interesting to note that the tour averages are not as fast as i initially thought. Remember, most tour professionals will tell you that they rarely swing at over 80%. That means they swing as hard as they can (100%) then back off until they feel like they are swinging at about 80% speed. so like the REP i found out that swinging harder may get you faster speeds but efficieny will drop. Name Club Club Speed Ball Speed Speed Ratio Bo Van Pelt Driver 119 177 1.49 Fred Couples 3-Wood 112 163 1.46 Jeff Sluman Driver 116 163 1.41 Justin Leonard 3-Wood 109 153 1.40 Justin Leonard Driver 113 167 1.48 Ted Purdy 7-Iron 88 126 1.43 Vijay Singh 7-Iron 91 127 1.40
  8. Yeah the jbeam certainly looks the most promising based on your inputs and my own research. 435 in even 10 with a mid launch low spin shaft would be good. Off topic I hit my 7 iron 302/pw loft 46 at 175 ss around 110 driver Your 7 iron is long at 172 in relation to your other clubs.
  9. Now that's a range. I would pay for that totally worth it
  10. ok I had my first range session with it, did not bring my driver Just brought a 7 and 6 iron. Did not have much time to dabble , spent 2mins configuring to mph then used the ss analyzer with ball Speed. Was around 90 mph on average with the 7 and around 93 With the 6. This thing is soooo fun. I was kinda scared I would screw up and hit it so behind yeah like 3 feet behind And smash my new toy to bits, once I got over that I just started fringe away. Forgot to take note of the ball speed but will take notes Tom specially with the big Dog! Friend tried it qt the range and he has a consistent 105mph, we tested him and he was in Fact 105 with the rep at 99% , he tried to gun it to 106, 107,108 and saw efficiency drop To 93,92,88 . Loving it so far.
  11. THAT premia head on the FS section was a jackpot! i was eyeing the ebay one too but got turned off with 800+ with days remaining oh well
  12. great stuff! received mine today. i will test it out in the course tom. what a great little gadget with so much potential!
  13. I can shoot pics of my setup Tom
  14. I can vogue for the quality of the shafts they are good. The di8s would be a killer combo in a longer hybrid
  15. i like the higher launching GD shafts in my fairway woods. fubuki alpha is no slouch either.
  16. well another vote for the 302s, coming from onoff247, ryo nanovs, and the 302s are the easiest and most forgiving off the bunch and certainly the longest. i have not tried the yamaha tours but now for a fact they are the real deal! hopefully i can indulge in a set in the near future.
  17. yeah it looks very shallow in pics, if its like the egg i wonder how it would fair from off the tee? could you test that one for us? thanks J. post pics if you can.
  18. Those are very very good prices. The 9003 is a legend and would be A monster in am driver or 3 wood. Glws
  19. Enjoy the spoon, mighty fun and easy club to use.
  20. Well ryoma head only vie seen the o as low as 650 in the forums. Shafted with crazy around 1100-1200. Theres one 9.5 with bangvoo shaft in the fs section
