  1. I play my irons 1.5 deg flat. Play my 302s Loft as is and my tours are bent to match my 302s Have had no problems. My reference is pw 46deg
  2. Ok il try to summarize this best I can, vs the px and DGs, the modus3 Are higher launch, they are also smoother feeling and have a punchier kick. When I say punchy mean they are elastic, you can literally feel the shaft kick Unlike the px and DG which for me feels like a quick snap. For me the Higher ball Flight was a plus factor although for sone it could be a drawback. now vs the sp blues these will be higher launching and spin more, the sp blue Are lower launch and are also higher kick, some may find this more demanding, both Are smooth but I like the flight aspects of the m3 fits my playing style. Shimada is similarTo sp blue so same comparison although the shimada plays stiffer to flex.
  3. You are correct no r flex. If you like the feel then I think you should go for it. You have tested it already, as forit working for the heads, don't know have never Tried the pp9003
  4. It plays softer to flex but is still a s flex. I however think they are stiffer than R300 and almost bordering the s300. They are about 115 grains trimmed. I would go with an r flex if you don't have the speed for the s you won't be Able to maximize the shaft and launch it prperly. Why not try shimada tour r flex? They are slightly lighter than the r300 although this Will play slightly heavier and stiffer than a modus 3 r flex. Why not try a modus 3 r flex And if you find it sof you can always hard step.
  5. kindly share more info about yourself , swing, preferred ball flight etc etc. overall i love the modus3 and have them currently in my epon irons
  6. i havent had the privilege of trying any of their wedges, i would like to try their tour 48 wedges bend 1* to replace my PW.
  7. you know the aftours are not that much more difficult than the 302s. aftours are rather forgiving for a blade , but its still a blade.
  8. well i got my new toy and let me say wow! a bit on the loud side but nowhere near as annoying as the beetle. i had to make do with the 50 gram shaft but i made do until my shaft change today. it is a revolutionary , game changing club.you dont need to even use a driver. sooo long and all carry. i say dead long actually, fairway splitter! its not to shabby either of the tee, its sooo high, a good low piercing high kicking shaft would be awesome in this one. if your looking for a club, mini driver this is it, cant compare it to the driving spoons, this one blows all out of the water. stew had something all along and probably something hel never let go off, i now fully understand why. here are pics compared to a yamaha 460rpm. its actually much smaller but much larger than any fw wood i have owned. check out that fat face. probably as thick as a big mac!! chomp chomp on the faiways, tight holes have no fear! get one if you can find one, you guys wont be sorry
  9. specs wise theyd sound good in an 18* driving iron:) your right though anything aside from crazy and quad has no appeal , getting spoiled with the finer things in golf.
  10. T, i checked your blog, i first thought that the close up of the milled grooves were Iron shafts. damn good macro mode!
  11. I have everything u need. Pm me. I sold my backup set of satins 5.5 I will check if I still have the 6
  12. It's what you wanted Stephen.
  13. i was going to comment on your s200 but decided not two since you are using them. i pulled them out immediately did not even bother to try them, you will love the shimada blacks. its a no brainer since your using the k tours. it will feel like a different beast, more stable and stinger-ish
  14. i see in your sig that you are using bbd 14, i think they play similar with the TRC being more forgiving. the BBD is longer though especially of the tee, its a monster.. if somthing different is what you want then the Jbeams would be good. i have never tried them but hope to one day! see your playing RC db forged proto wedges! me too , theyr awesome right?
  15. hey hunt whats up? youl be happy with this one . shaft aint to shabby either
  16. i am around 110min and wont dare hitting anything more than a 7.4. have had not so good experience with crazy shafts that were too stiff. i suggest you forget about the specs and play a flex softer than what you would normally play. in specs i should be getting a 7.7 or 8.2, 7.4 is what i would get.
  17. well i have no personal experience with the Jbeam, have not had a go with any of their woods but i have had plenty with the RC trc. both models you mentioned are geared towards the better player/athletic golfer due to the deeper faces. The Rc is top notch. it may not be the most forgiving wood out there but it is very very workable and accurate. i like the fact that the head is very compact and suits my eye more than most. the twin rails are an added bonus for playing in tricky lie and gliding through the rough( never tried though) love the feel of this club, very crisp metallic feel, robust not hollow. sorry not so good with describing feel:) i mainly used this off the tee, it was a straight shooter, very accurate but like i said not the longest. Fwiw i am currenly using an older RC Type H 4+ wood. its so old but delivers the job. Rc is one of my favorite brands for woods .
  18. Fex proto 65S Fw or GD route would go DI7s or DJ series since you love the Dis in your other woods. personally im going for either a DI8s or a 9003S as i already have these idle shafts doing nothing at home.
  19. The kenmochis were very good, very versatile grind as well, more spin Due to non conforming grooves, bent 1.5 flat they were super awesome. I just got bored with them and when the protos came around It was a no Brainer to switch, and being lofted the same 52/58 decided to stick with protos. The observations posted are jus for the protos, not comparing em to anything else. I think the diff with the protos the finish and the laser milling on the face. As for the Grind, youl have to ask Gocchin about it. Thanks
