Highest spinning wedge shaft available right now
Spoon replied to Mjr. D's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I'm a digger, have very large divots especially on my wedges. Can get a bit wristy, funny thing is I can get my long mid irons To spin more than my wedges and my 302s are conforming. Been doing a lot of punches lately to get in more spin, has helped A little but I'm not as confident with my wedge game as I used to be -
Will list the quadra proto 102 soon.

No comparison. The 380 epon is how every 380 driver should feel. Soft and muted not metallic at all like The yonex. Also very long compared to the yonex which was mediocre at best but dead straight. As fo the RC trc u referring to ute or wood?

More incentive for you, for now Enjoy the 502s they are amazing amazing clubs! I wouldn't worry about the finish, I was worry wart for the first Week or so, after that treat em like tools. I just snake a towel In mine in the golf cart and car.

2f14 is the holygrail stew! They should go in the 11s

Copper 901

Breathed new life into the wedges by changing shaft to The spinners, they feel the same as my old wedges with the Exception of spin. They have significantly lessmspin compared To any of the non conforming wedges I have owned. Forgiven though But I have to adjust my game and play short on pin approaches as I don't Generally produce crazy spin of my wedges. Time to practice on my release And technique. Wedges pretty versatile though. Have around 3 rounds w em And will give my full review after my round Tom.

Advance congratulations for being the first

Mine are battered and weathered In a good way. They look like seasoned veterans and I had several shots With my 8 iron off a fairway under, was thinkingof using my wedge from 140 out, Silly me haha. The soles have hardly any black purple xo.or and the golden copper has surfaced. I only use a head cover on the 3i.il snap pickson Monday, by them I would have had At least 12 rounds w em already.
-
They can do it in copper. It has no cavities like the 702. If ever u get that done u would be the first person I know Who would have a copper 901. Go for it
-
The 22 would fit the bill As a 3i replacement. Trust memyou won't be disappointed. Whenever My swing is off I will bag mine, rotate it with my 302 3i but the 901 is just easier and longer.
-
you reckon the 11s will outperform the 08s? lookwise which is the more lady's man?
-
could be my ball striking now also much better than before my injury. i bet the ansers would feel nice now. as for the 301 vs 302, i honestly cannot tell the diff in feel. you and mgb however have the same opinion on the 301
-
really ? thats odd, i had the ansers i had were with the ping awt steel and although they were more forgiving, found the 302s much softer.
-
Yup that would be the approximate
-
Actually I game the 302 -3-pw and my 3i is 20deg, my 22 901 goes 10 yards further. Loft for loft the 901s meant to play longer than irons plus shaft is longer and is designed for carry. So the 19, 22, 25 are technically 2,3,4 iron replacements
-
I had the anser frigid this time last year gamed them fir 3 months prior to my injury. They are prob the best feel ping irons Out there but anything jam forged will feel better. The pings were pretty forgiving I enjoyed them very much. Now I am gaming the 302s and they blow the ping in feel, not necessarily performance, that will depend upon you. Case to case basis, both are very good if you see yourself improving and growing with your new set of irons the 302s would be for you. Don't worry a 12cap , you should be able to handle it, it's not as demanding as most people tout it to be. Have u tried the epon 502s?
-
spined? do they have SSt puring at your fitter? good looking clubs dale! time to game those already
-
Nice they should have this as the standard finish. Most of their older irons were satin. Unless you had the patience And skill to satinize pur own nicr finished irons.

how do the di8s and p9003x stand up to the quadra protos and crazies?
Spoon replied to Spoon's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
It was a all white shaft with some obscure long name. U mentioned it was a ver expensive mom and pop brand. Forget the name -
how do the di8s and p9003x stand up to the quadra protos and crazies?
Spoon replied to Spoon's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
T, well to sum it up, i have gotten most of my strength back and have actually gained more distance due to rehab and heavy stretching exercises so i have outgrown the weight of 65 grams. i used to use a 75x shaft in my driver pre injury. what would happen is i would lose sensation of the club on the transition, literrally got lost, unless i slowed down my tempo which just felt unnatural. by moving to a heavier shaft i can swing my normal way. so the problem was the weight. i am almost 100% sure that the 75s proto would be a winner. now the big question, would the 9003 in a 102 be just as pure compared to the 380? i think the 380cc head is the key to the puzzle, its so damn long and ballistic and pretty forgiving. scary to think of this head fitted to the quadra proto 70s. if im not mistaken this used to be your head, picked it up from gio. may replicate this same setup with the burlwood 360 quadra proto 75s. -
yup thats what i figured. the pbs are super nice! love them. have you tested both of the models already?
-
i dont know what was done when they assembled it but specs were only d2 but man did they feel heavy. and the s200s felt awful. as in brittle harsh. i have never used s200s so i wanted to test them. i use tour issue s400s and dg spinners, the dg spinners on the kenmochis feel buttery . with the stock shafts the heads felt rather crisp in a bad way. almost felt like a cast club. BUT, i attribute this to the shaft, its a known fact that the s200s dont feel as good as the s300s and s400s. i already re shafted with the spinners to my specs so i can give a better review this week. fyi, i left them with the fitter last saturday. the clubs were dry and cleaned after my round, sunday eve there was some rust spot on face and cavity. i guess the air here is very humid. no worries though as its a raw wedge!

Last I checked all sold out, you wouldn't have a used pair laying around?
