  1. Nice, I know they are quite different and shape is unique But they are yamaha-esque. Something about that cavity Rem ins me ofvthe tours
  2. Those are money! Black shafts red grips! Enjoy your new clubs bet your dying to play em! Let us kow ow it goes,i already stopped using head covers On mine. Already exhibiting some memorable war marks
  3. Good good. It worked out with Jon? You have two excellent 2f15s as well Low launch proto blues ! I suggest the orax gointothe 11s. The Ora s will be sent to pi if you no Longer have a need for em.
  4. ok my 380cc technica forged titan arrived today. LOOKS STUNNING. small little bugger same size as my old yonex. this will be much much longer though. according to Chris and Gocchin a favorite with the guys at endo. taking this to the fitter today to be mated to the GD 9003 shaft. real excited about this one. if the shaft works i am defintely pulling my quadra proto fex 65s from my epon and getting the proto 75s here are pics of the head
  5. its too hit and miss if you do it alone. you need a fitter to help you navigate the path. there are a gazillion combinations trust me. http://www.balance-certified.com/
  6. wow sorry to hear about that. did yours have serial numbers on the hosel?
  7. glad you are enjoying them. could you post some pics of your new war sticks? what shafts do you have in them? thanks
  8. Over a year old but still looking for one. I'm pretty sure someone emailed me but forgot who. Thanks Carlo
  9. your making a lot of us broke with your experiments mr stew
  10. yes we are indeed! like i said in other threads the yonex nanovs were very good training clubs its like i can hit anything now. as for the 3iron, i actually hit the hybrid much better except im very inconsistent with the trajectory, hit and miss. the 3 iron goes around 15 - 20 yards less but with a predictable flight. i will carry both though as they serve certain purposes. off the tee im much more comfy with the 3iron
  11. i did that yesterday with my 20 trc. i was under a tree in the rough with my full swing being restricted by the branches. i was around 215 away. i punched it with a half swing went dead straight and i was on the fringe. was around 15 feet away. i 3 putted for bogey!
  12. i totally agree, i just ordered a 302 3iron. in the range i bring my long irons all the time especially #4. if i can hit that with a smooth tempo everything else is elementary.
  13. well i was in my brother in law's bar and after a nice hearty dinner i ordered my favorite islay SM after about two glasses i noticed a bottle in the corner that looked vaguely familiar. Ah it was the yamazaki i saw in Tsg, ordered the bottle and drank a couple of glasses. not bad, my first taste of japanese malts, it does take some getting used to but i like it a lot.
  14. nothing new w the honma 5 stars seems that this is a staple with captains of industry, Ceos and some high ranking military locally. i wonder though how they would stack vs the ultra high end crazies etc etc?
  15. What are your payment options pay pal? Kindly post pics here as they are part of the Rules. Thanks man
  16. I have gamed the super black hybrid and Adams pnt2. I also had the pro golds but The boxy shape was not for me. If younlike a clean compact looking head that is Heavy then the RC is you.
  17. I'm the opposite, I have only used 5-pw in the past Focusing on my iron play and have added a 4 iron. Lovin My new irons right now that I ot the 302 3i! I also have the trc Ute in 20 which I use of the rough or on trickeir lies. The 3i I use On a certain 220 par 3, I could never reach it due to the spray like Tram of the hybrids, hence I have the 3i. Am experimenting with a steel shaft on the trc. Il continue to observe The performance Nd flight . As for you frank do whatever you feel That will improve your game. If that means dumping irons for hybrids then by all Means go for it.
  18. Thanks will consider that for sure. Ive been keeping an eye On your bag of goodies. You may be on to something with The fw shafts!
  19. Not sure if endo forged but pw is a strong 45. Many reviews in the net.
  20. That's good to know . Curious to see what the other manufacturers decide to do reg replaceable faces. Would be nice to have conforming and non conforming plates, mix and match .
  21. Ive always considered the 950s the gold standard of shafts. Trajectory aside, has the Best smoothest feel of any shaft vie tried. No brainer. I' will only use nspro in all my Irons with the exception of the wedges. Just having fun with my spinners. Mike, a question, how does the wedge feel ? Really curious as they have replaceable faces.
  22. I think I will take a break, have spent a fortune on woods and hybrids in the end only The 20 trc hybrid remained. I settled on the k15 ping japan, very very easy to hit And quite happy with this combo.
  23. Thanks C! As you know I picked up the db proto wedges 52/58. I will be needing A 56 RC though; wink
