could not agree with you more. my fiance uses these and they trump her syards and beres irons. ive had actual people just hit her irons and they were sold. as for the brand lepon is made by endo, for me thats all she wrote. -
sounds good but very careful when adding weights 8 grams seems like a lot, 1 -2 grams alone will alter the sw by 1-2. i suggest having your clubfitter add a tipweight to the shaft or some tungsten powder. good luck and tel us how your experiment goes.

pm tourspecgolfer im sure he can work something out for you -
any home improvement shop would have one. ive seen bosch, black and decker and even dewalt in one of our local home depot outlets. you can get a basic model for under $100
-
thank you. will do more research will prob test this on an old clyb to minimize risk and damage
-
i agree! why do we like changing clubs that are perfectly fine? for what its worth think about your copper af301s trump all your other alternatives since endo forges all the other brands you mentioned except the onoffs. and Epon is endos home brand:) Lol ive been using this rationale to stick to my epons and it has worked thus far.

we know you love them:) this new milled premium zone style may be the ticket hopefully after closing my eyes and pulling the trigger i will save money on the long run by not upgrading my putters every month... -
the inpres black wedges look beautiful. actually one of the most eyecatching for me
-
sounds very simple this is how you did the satinized versions of the irons posted above? they look professionaly done. what grit did you use on your wheel?
-
i would choose satin any day over chrome. looks more appealing plus they look better as the irons age compared to chrome

its a matter of preference and i have done my own share of experimention and have discovered what works for me. the whole getting stiffer and heavier shafts works for most but does not for me. on the contrary i find that the same weighted wedge shafts as my irons shafts works best for me. im not even going stiffer just maybe more sw. so for you go with what you are comfortable with. i am using armrqb4 in my beres and its around 60ish g range so getting the 75 was the better option. was thinking 85 or even 95 but decided against it.
-
the inpres black forged wedge just looks so lethal il be all over it if i hadnt just pulled the trigger on a set of copper wedges. no regrets though
-
actually its the nature of most golfers most especially me to tinker with clubs just for the sake of change. my golf equipment is in a constant change more to do with curiosity and the pursuit of perfection rather than necessity. im actually taking a practical leap here based on my preference. if this was me several months ago i would have laughed at myself for even considering graphites. i keep telling myself that the heavier stiffer shafts are good for the ego but not for the score:)
-
i have the 701 with 758m as well and have played with them exclusively for about 2 months. they are stiffer than flex imho. they are very good though but i have passed them on to my dad who appreciated them more than me. as for the wedges i was using stiff shafts in them for months without noticing anything significant then when i shifted to regular flex something different happened. i was contacting the ball better and getting better results most especially on my full shots and half swings. like i mentioned in another thread i guess its becasue i am a digger and the softer flex alows the shaft to act like a shock absorber and take most of the shock when digging. not to mention that wedges are shorter so they will naturally play stiffer than their same flex in longer irons so i dont seem to get bothered. in fact i would personally suggest getting a heavier shaft with same flex rather than a same weight shaft with diff flex on wedges. what i do is get the same weight, same flex but have my wedges SW bumped up by one or 2 units.
-
Yes sir you are correct. i have seen the light! i think i just stumbled into something special and cannot wait to put them to practical use. hopefully my short game will benefit fro this simple shaft change.
-
just curious R as i am getting a second set of copper epons and placing the tour ad. always been a fan of tour ad but have never tried em in irons. i am also thinking of disposing of my epon typx bg and getting the af701 all shafted with graphite tour ad75
-
i just got another set of epon af wedges but shafted with tour ad 75 shafts. OH MY!!! these are absolute money and has totally changed the feel of my wedges. im glad i went with the r flex instead of the s flex and can totally feel the change especially on half swings and chips.
