Super bowl picks?
DoubleAA replied to sniperjoe's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI would keel over if my bears made the big show, but I am thinking it is coming down to a few mules. Horseshoes(Colts) and Donkeys(Broncos) Go BEARS Colts are mandated to win SB 40 by 3. This is my prediction fellows.

What kind of car do TSGers drive?
DoubleAA replied to zojo's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearGas prices "fuel" a lot of major decisions that all legal operators of motor vehicles make. Changes what consumers plan to purchase. Dictates what people keep as a hobby, start as a hobby, or if they stop all together. Major impact is seen with automakers and what they decide to mass produce. Alternate fuel and energy efficiancy is trend-forward right now but I hate to say it is "too little too late". The world moves in unison with the oil industry, if they are booming so does the economy, if they are in decline, so are we. Pitiful but true. Show me another "Tucker" or an electrical engineer who is not afraid to build a electric motor that is equivalent to 300+hp with an effective powerplant that is redundant. Where are they? The people of this world have created so much to assist the issue, why can we can we not create something to rid us of Fossil Fuel dependency. I know it is a lot to ask of major corps but what does it take for them to get a driving idea to make change. We deserve it! I know I own a 430 HP Vehicle and I am barking at myself for buying it but as with most, you buy what you want regardless. Being that it is a very powerful car, I get excellent gas mileage. It is really helpful when 4 of the 8 pistons shut down to conserver fuel. Plus I do plan on buying new Odessey for major travel usage. No matter, i should have chosen more wisely to help the cause. ....oh, no pun intended!!

What Style suits you......
Really do not have a preference, If I can hit it I will play it. It is mainly a comfort factor with me and of course I have to like the look at address. Since I started golf I have used the a Blade style putter and never tried anything else. When I bought the YES! I stuck with the style I was used to. :tsg_smilie_cool:

Fade to Anger
My cousin that I play with often is having driver issues and I wanted to help him out, he hits either a dead straight ball, slight fade (most often) or a power hook (SLIIIIICCCEEE). He has purchased 3 new drivers in the past 5 months and is always very pesimistic when playing golf because he has no confidence on the Tee, he is fine with his irons. I have tried to give him subtle hints and others things but no matter, he does the same thing. I told him to get used to it and work it into his game but he will have no part of it, he wants it either straight or drawn. Aids did not work (Inside Approach) so I told him to add lead tape to the heel of his driver. he went and added a whole strip and no he is snap hooking everything, he took it off and went right back to his previous ball flight. I was wanting to know, ho much lead tape should we be putting on the heel to help him correct slightly. His swing path is in good shape, I told him that he is losing it all just before impact, he cannot envision trying to backhand the target with his left hand and keep his knuckled pointing toward the ground to train his release. How much lead tape do we need to add? 1/4 strip, 1/2 strip, 3/4 strip???? He is driving me nuts, please help.

World Series Astros vs. WhiteSox
DoubleAA replied to Ichiro's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI asked for quality baseball and absolutly received it, allthough it was a sweep for the best team in Chicago, any one of those 4 game could have gone houstons way. What a team Ken williams put together. That "Small Ball" theory worked very well for Guillen and the club. Jermaine Dye was my only candidate for MVP but Juan Uribe really made the 2 most important defensive plays the whole series. Bobby Jenks was unstoppable at CLOSING TIME!! Da Sox's win after 88 year drought. Let me change my Sox's from Red to White.

World Series Astros vs. WhiteSox
DoubleAA replied to Ichiro's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearA world series without the NY crybabies is a good World Series in my book!!!!! I don't care who wins, I just want some quality baseball. Clemens will give some quality time on the mound but a shut it will not happen against the Sox, best hitting team in baseball! Would like to see Bagwell go out with some hardware. But, then again I would like to see Chicago get that win so they could finally get over World Series scandal back in the 30's. Anybody see the movie, "Eight men out"

What's wrong with this picture ??
For posing for photographs or hitting the ball ??? Wondering if the Vjay floppy wrist is in edivence ?? I'll need to get some high speed shots. Anybody else got some action shots of their swing so I can compare ??? Too blurry at release but it looks fine in the wrist area, is that a digital camera, if not set the shutter to a faster speed. That will freeze you posture better.

MJ acquitted
DoubleAA replied to sam2011's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearThe DA thought he was "Bad" so he yanked MJ in to court for a Judicial "Thriller" but Micheal turned out to be some sorta "Smooth Criminal". The media took "threatend" hype and "Beat it" to death. There biggest problem was how to descibe MJ, is he "Black or White"?. "Do you remember the time" when Micheal had some "privacy", well until he metioned he slept with boys, he was no longer "Invincible". So they decided to play "Dirty Diana" and put "the writing on the wall" for all to see because sleeping with little boys is not "human nature" unless you were in early Greece when they where "P.Y.T's!. So, the accuser's or fakers may think twice before they "wanne be startin somethin", it will happen again though cuz MJ "Can't help it" and he just is not able to "Keep it in the closet" which is "Dangerous". So for now, let us pray that Michael can stay out of "Billie's Jeans". Bad bad pun but I had to do it. :smile2:
