Any feedback on how this shaft plays?

I dont have trouble opening the face on these unless i have a tight hard pan lie. Awesome spin with these wedges and iv had mine for over a year now

I had the SF8 in a 15* Epon 201 and then in a Adams Prototype 16* launch was mid, low spin piercing ball flight. Very nice shaft for the $ but not as good as the Accra i replaced it with, i sold it to a +2 hcp golfer who plays in the State Team here and he loves it

yeah i have to get to barnbugle one day, if you like playing in the wind go to mornington peninsula , i had a game at the national the balls were blowing off the practice green it was insane. I have to agree the Fire Express is a must in the wind not only coz of the low ball flight but also it produces the straightest ball iv ever seen, no draw no fade just straight!! the only negative i would have is i find it hard to draw which is my stock shot so on those right to left doglegs i have to go to the 3 wood but its only a minor problem and i can still hit it just got to set up for it where as usualy its a natural shot for me

No i would never get rid of the quadra i have found it to be the longest and most accurate shafts i have ever played. it will alaways be the go to club in important tournaments or when i play at the links at kennedy bay, launch is low piercing ball flight but still good carry and a good bit of run im thinking of ordering the 102 or 151 with a Crazy Longest Yard when i can get some cash together :) but we will see how the crazy performs in the HT i may still go with the Quadra again, and i cant discount the P9003x such a great shaft for around $300US its hard to go past Im in Perth

I had the 901 19* it was Ok but nothing special, in my opinion Adams make the best Hybrids for the better players give the Idea Pro Black a try I can hit mine Fade, Draw, Low, High its like iron with the forgivness of a fairway wood

Just to give you some feedback i have a Epon 101 9.5 with the Fire Express 75X i ordered the head at 0.5 open and 204g. 115mph swing speed and i hit bullets with this combo, the quadra does launch low so you need to be carefull especialy if your ordering a open face angle as it will decrece the loft and it is a very strong shaft but gives plenty of feel. I have hit a D2 with a DI6X and i fount it to launch a lot higher compared to the 101 Fire Exprs, have also had a 101 with a P9003x same set up it launched a bit higher very good shaft and costs a lot less than the crazy or quadra i should have never sold it. Give Joe from Clubmaxx a call he will be able to set you up as im pretty sure Tourspec cant sell Epon to Australia you have to go through Clubmaxx, i have bought all my Epon gear from joe (i live in Perth) and you can even get SST Pured as well Good Luck

Must have been faulty it was quite noticable to, i reshafted that POS 3 times to try and get it to work cost me a lot of $ in exotic shafts, then when my clubmaker was pulling the 3rd shaft as i was going to get rid of it he pointed out to me that it had caved in. No wonder i had so much trouble with it. The Epon dealer here in Australia organized to replace it with the 202HT for a extra $100 so im hoping it works out better than the 201 If i like the Crazy Fw then the plan is to try a LY 01 or CB 50 in the driver

My Crazy 80FW is due in next Tuesday and its going in a Epon 202 HT i will give some feedback ASAP iv been waiting a while the previous 201 head i had the face had caved in and Epon have taken a long time to repace it

Epon 101 with the Fire Express 75X! Long and arrow straight Crazy 50 S/X or GD P9003X would be a good choice to

You cant go wrong with the Fire Express best shaft i have ever played, which head would you say launches the highest V201, 703 Limited or the 101?
