The one and only! =) It definitely won't be making my "The one that slipped away" list!

S, The face of the Egg is shallower than the hybrid but, longer heel to toe. To my eyes, I think the design of the Egg also has the illusion of making it look bigger than it should especially when you put it side by side to a smaller club like a hybrid. You have to look at it as a FW. It wouldn't be fair for me to judge the performance between the 2. For some reason, hybrids just haven't worked out well for me in the past so I went the 7/9W route. Maybe I just haven't found the right one. The 9W is an forgiving & easy to hit FW. For that reason, I know that there are at least a couple of more experienced members here who have bagged it and have posted their comments/reviews that you can search for. I haven't been able to spend much time with it 'coz I ended up with a combination that knocked it out of my bag in a heartbeat. I knew I should have washed my sheets earlier... Or you can stock up now for when you're ready & good to go and add it together with your newest acquisition. Thanks S! I've read of a member here who won a beer sticking it close to the hole with this club on a par 3... with his eyes closed.

I would say that they are tad bigger than a hybrid... Took a couple of pics earlier that you can hopefully use as a comparison. (Disclaimer: I am no "T" when it comes to taking club pics. So bear with me. He has it nailed down whenever he does comparison photos!) Love to see the pics of the grinds that you had done to them! I echo the sentiment of others of it being better for softer conditions. I gamed the 52 & 56 for quite a bit and have worn down the sole of the sand wedge. I do miss the crazy spin you get from them...

Thanks for your response! Hmmm.... decisions, decisions, decisions... I guess the only way for me to find out which would be a better fit, would be to try both... really wish there was a good clubmaker nearby to help me with all this experimenting I'm starting to do.

I swing much slower than you guys so I highly doubt the flex of the FW80 that I have will be much use to you.

B, How do you find the launch characteristics of the SF shaft? I have 1 hanging around & I'm trying to figure out if it'll be a better fit in my Egg 3W vs. the Crazy FW80.

The design on the cavity seems similar to the PRGR TR-500s. Curious to know what the text on the cavity reads...

Love this shaft! It's everything T has mentioned it is. I currently have it in a 7W and it instantly has become my favorite club in the bag.

I have a set that would be perfect with these shafts... Do they play similar to the 950 WF?

Chris, What would you consider your top 5 or even 10? I'm assuming the Egg is on your list...

I would just have the GS and GrindStudio logos stamped on the heads. Maybe Japanese characters in place for the usual iron numbers. I think a muscle back would be the way to go. The cavity back designs didn't appeal to me visually.

Great to find out that Grind Studio will now be available! I've been back & forth on his website the past few months admiring his creations.
