  1. either is good. more feel with the shimada X , but the steelfibres .. i played on saturday in stiff only (125) i think might suit you better, they launch low and are extremely sturdy. faultless , i think im JUST at the cusp of playing them well enough. faster .harder swingers than i will definatly get more form them. they were LOW. certianly not the best feel goinground but really really smooth................. i think i like CW shafts, these and the monacco are my faves.
  2. hahhahah i think it was a rougher paint job to create more friction.
  3. not played it yet. thats this weekend is if not pouring with rain. just cant go past the diamanaX tho.. il guarantee that will go into it. at some stage
  4. yea theres quite a few guys out there that arnt fans of them now. initially i was of the same thoughts, recently ive just clicked with them , esp as the fairways are hard and firm right now. when it gets a bit softer , these might take a back set for a while. but, they are DEFINATLY going home to play in oz... i think they wil go really well there.
  5. been playing mine recently 52+56 with monacco X damn. these things go LOW. ive ben hitting them prety well and ive noticed 2 very good things firstly even on champ speed greens , these thins spin. i was playing o na course last wekeend that has a JLPGA event this weekend, adn they were SLICK... the 56* was gripping and sitting beautifully. ive got some good confidence to go hammer and tongs at the lin with them , and they do the job slendidly. seriously this combo is low low low low low, they are like throwing darts. nad now i know that stop dead. second. rom tight crop these are great wedges. that small rounded sole is perfect. really liking these things now.

  8. thats milling insert is unbeleiveably good. IMO the best feeling face there is.
  9. that what i thought ..extra weight near the heel shud shut the face and close the angle and promote a draw.. no? unless its weighted in the back, heel and then i guess the weight pulls the club open ?????

  16. u want to swap for some thing......... , let me know.
  17. damn.....................! damn damn damn damn... i took the stock one out last night with rombax 65 s 10.5* just to my driving range. i also had my kamui pro kpx -GDp9003x and maruman conductor diamanaB 70s along for a test ride. i like these other two drivers, they are vastly differnt, but both have a great spot in my rotaion. onto the syard well i was kinda amazed by it. i cucndt beleive f how low it went considering how long it was flying and the trajectory it went with that shaft i always hit to the left diagonal net edge into a cross left right wind . so im hitting pretty much dead into the puff with a fade bias so drawing balls takes some real doing. if i do get it to draw , ive hit it absolutely pure. that doesnt happen much. well the syard lost nothing. to these two custom builds. distance id say it was prob just second behind the maruman. but it was going straighter! ddint miss it a lot at all. and got it to draw......., the kmaui is my accuracy driver so i dont consider it a long ball lama driver. i use it only on short tracks. as it iis.., its irreplaceable. but i take it out to test others vs it for accuracy. the XV has a very mushy dull muted thump to it . muted sound and a differnt kind of endo feel to it thsi time i guess thats the shaft... to which i will say i am very surprised and happy with.. think its a very good stock set up looks like KK-sama has matched these 2 heads with some mighty fine carbon. the head shape is lovely. the much more rounded adn a comnpact thick look with elongated edges. i really like that look well, they say game the lightest softest shaft u can handle.a motto i dont often live by but in this case im gonna give this a whirl , and then maybe change it over , just on the back of last nights session. i was really that impressed with it.
  18. dont really see too many with anything but DG s200... or modus 3 120s.. the tourstage 909s had t x-100s in them and i took the shafts outta those, used them for these heads. getting X100 has to be an upgrade option. the x-100 just do the right thing . cant fault them apart from being so damn dull.
