shaft wise for fairway woods 1-crazy fw80 as a straight up , the fw shaft , esp for the harder htting fairway wood lvoing player i dont think anything is at the same level. 2 - diamana X70s has a feel that is out of this world and performance that matches ,just a bit thinner imapct than the crazy 3-quadra fire express original yellow/orange fw is the next best FW shaft proper after the crazy fw 4-graphite design p-9003x and z-9003s back in the day when i had some oomph were brilliant. 5-fujikura waccine shaft was, IS INSANELY good for a 2 wood or short driver at 44inch. if i play on my short par 5 course ill take 2 utes instead of FWD but on my main course (7000) yards ill take 4 woods. -my2 wood i hit on 3 holes to make sure i hit the fairway then long iron in -3 wood on 3 of the par5s -theres 4 par 4s that need driver 3 or 5 wood to get onto more oft than not these days. utes just wont make it. -3 of the par 3s are the hardest on the course play 190-205 yards and they are 5woods most of the time to stay out of the water in front. u gotta be long. i look fwd to hitting them. esp off the deck on the par 5s and giving them a good old wallop my fave club in the bag to hit now.

what set up do u use? or has the ute versatlity usurped them? i still game 2 or 3 everyweek. 10.8/12 drive alts 14/15 long woods 17.5/18 high woods depending on course length and bunkering. got a few utes i lilke by royal coll and driving irons by prgr and honma but i much prefer good old fwds still gaming my royal collections, crazy fw , kasco and solid contacts most of the time . and for the reference its hard not to put the old diamana kaili in them. that thing is SO precise and easy to use a wonderous shaft with any head acpl of faves below. ryoma 15* d1 prgr egg17* kamui 17.5* kp-xf modart 14* kasco fd 12.8* callaway erc fusion 15*

wonderful head.. id never heard about it till a month back. now i have 3, from what ive seen so far , it looses very little to more advanced heads........................ really like its feel sound and look. ind of reminiscent of the kasco 340 oh that was a great compact head to play.... 460cc might not be for everyone .

in fact im gonna say............if u clump the middle of anything it wil feel insnely good but the honma tw727m , ism,masda v2 have a special treat reserved for those that seek. they are just a bit more fullfilling.

think ive work out the ISM feel, they are so small but so dense , theres no thin spot or perimter weight mediation. so the whole head feel so good. most other mbs ahve some kind of weight dispersion.. i ha a good look at mine of late and thats what i cae up with. masda v2 are the same they ahve No thining hand hence they feeel just as good

ive re gamed my honma tw727m last 2 weeks. just in case ur after a set of BLADES proper, i cant extol thier virtues high enough. even with DGs200 they are just so deeeeeeeeeeeep. i can move these about , see more shots ,better than any other MB i own. if u ve not go these yt i suggest you have a good look,. im playing them for a while now

SRIXON ZR-30 / DIAMANA KAILI 70S 9.5* 45inch Matsuyamas old driver. why did i not find this a cpl of yrs back , !!!!! gamed yesterday at home course non comp so just hitting balls. first real game of the year. 15*c so very good temp no wind , great conds! i hit 9/10 fariwasy with it , not bad for fist hit , not even range time. over the day it had a cpl of yard draw no more. miss hits were the usual blocks a few yards right. extremely straight mid flight , ball flight completely reliant on tee height. as a rule i prefer rounder fuller headed drivers , this is one, a bit smaller and more rouned than the jbeam 435 i covet so much but not too dissimilar, very easy on the eye at address. looks small compact and straight faced. imact..................wow,solid, pingy not toingy nor tinny . very very good impact/sound kaili shaft is fabulous with it. i was swinging well and getting the best distance id gotten in a cpl of years. consistantly. the ball flight was " perfect" , cud not find any fault on this waht so ever. 100% added to the rotation. , in fact so impressed i bought the other one for links.
