  1. Thnx Nobs.. how do u get them there ? i found kuroneco is a possibility but the cost is ................. well not quite like it used to be. i
  2. Hi all, Obv the tariff issue is ongoing and gigantic PITA , i know EMS wont ship to the US from jpn. wondering if/how are peole getting goods , ive been asked to send stuff over but cant find a suitable shipper. anyone still getting steel goods from JPN ?
  3. S-YARD T 388. 9.5* diamana Ali iseli 73s. 44.75inch 320g. Always Been one of the very very best smaller. Compact heads I've had so many of these with all manner of shafts. Sold.em rebuilt em sold em. Swapped em. But it was never Long before I grabbed another , Prob is now they are hens teeth so this one .. will be staying put. Any shot u can dream with a diver in hand this can do and in most cases better than almost all others Not Hit it yet . Next week will be. It's debut. As ive had this head with A stinger, X ,kaili, GD p9003x, FEX, STOCK , crazy black 50( shud NEVER. have sold that one!!!!) I'll be v keen to see. How this stacksup. I can guess as this shaft is my all time no 1 fave (not made Of boron) it won't be too .,..dissapointing. ...................... well..., wowsah how right i was ..................., superb!!!!!!!! gamed it vs a diawa tataki 65s shafted shingospec 9.5* 358 ( magic!!!) which ive not games in a long time but prob shid have!!! the heavier but shorter playing alisieli shaft gives it a bit more control and confidence to really have a go at the ball and shape shots ,its not as long distance wise as the longer 358onoff but i wanst expeting t it to be but what iwasnt expecting was there was a noticeable enough gap to be of consequence . make no mistake the 358 is a bomber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that tataki blue shaft keeps it on the stra8 and narrow ,it launches high and flat and thers almost no abilty to shape it , its a pure easy swigning bomber . With the s-yard combo while the ball doesnt zip about willy nilly, it moves with out having to strain an adductor, its a perfect small arc to where you want it to go. its not short , its jsut not long. i was hitting the ball really well and the ball went to where any other good driver goes (distance) but never more. the most noticeable aspect was the ability to consistantly alter flight heights with tee adjustemnts with NO freakouts at address looking at the ball teed too low, too high. really is a driver of the ultiame versatility for every thing.dont say that much 9 the srixon zr 30 is another but totally differnt shape rounded vs elongated oval, for my $$$$$ the syard takes the cake. shaft change was awsome i think this is the best edition of this build/head ive had. easy to hit ( 12/14 frws) distance good, flight unbeatable, sound feel amazing, confidence 100%.. if i can grab another, its going str8 back to my links course to live. seriosuly .................... u can all keep the new best better heads, this ll do me nicely ......................... another game with it on VERY tricy driving championship coure ,OB lined everywhwere. ws hittitng stingers like a 5 iron... high soaring massive draw(gulp hooks) , bunt fades likea 4 iron, its got ALL the tricks. saved the bst lfor the 18th, hit 3 ballsabout as good as a ican to 9i in baby draws distance is NOT short. unless needed then its simle do to. going to game this and my srizon zr-30 which are polar oppo shaes to see which reigns bec its out of thee 2. this is EASILY a one stop shop. dotn need a driver alt with this , this IS the driver alt.!
  4. ASTRO TOUR v2..11* DAIWIA LABOSPEC TATAKI 70XS BLUE45.25INCH. FINALLY... A contender for long a new ball lama champ emerges! Total speccy on this. Had the parts spare and thought why not match high loft with high kick. Longer length. Love this head. Have many astro tours and this model has So much oomph. So I Thought why not give it a try.. Result, HUGE CARRY . tee it low and get LONG RUN. Totally differnt Feel , the bend/flex point is v noticeably differnt to my hoards Of diamanas much more initial Engagement feels like the Tip is straightening IMMEDIATLY. Very direct Very electric. It's an out and out. Bomber ................ strewth!!! got this out to game yesterday. this plays longer @ 45.25 inch and its noticeble. looks long at address. high face angle but rounded elongate face makes it look very amenable to hitting draws and it can and does ,but its NOT a hook machine at all. misses were straigt h to slight fade even with a robust draw swing. the shaftt is impossible to over power. i played on a a very tough driving course and missed the centre of the club quite a bit but never lost a ball ob, worst result was in 2nd cut , easliy playable. its long , this goes big.. very big. had to play with the tee height to get it wired. not too high , the loft on the head is pretty significant. feel is sensational.... its very alive. great sound, higher tink. gives good feedback. no point trying to hit anything other than bombs , its a bomber. had a cpl of right up there shots that were .oh yea!!
  5. a cpl of generic BUT rather special pieces that were done by an absolutle master for an OEM. had both of these rejigged and like the honma set , i take them out when i play a FULL... tourstage bag. driver p51... 701 3-5-7- w....maru mb...xwedge... these putters. they do NOT look out of place , in fact the oppostte oft happen when people go wow..!!! a full TS set , sugoi!

tourstage x-wedge. axis spring to mind
  7. There is NO such thing as " the one", there is the '100"............. in my book. the top is one of my latest added , have added a few ODA's to the bags lasy few yrs. and am having a tough time taking them out at game time. they all have wonderful balance and a distinctive feel to them that i LOVE, deep resonating feel. milling is ultra light which is now my preferd style. these ones are a cpl ive picked up from OEMS, honma and mizuno copper. The honma SLN i thought was better than the scotty tei3 i used to have , very similar in most ways so i sold the cameron , kept this one. i have a full steel set of HONMA "ancients" for play , iron ,wedge, putters i take out , fabulous gear( the old stuff). this has a more angluar look feel it , very squared, obv copper insert is magic. the mizuno LN is SOFT SOFT SOFT ,very light like mid 400g. i tend to play these light putters , on the fastest greens to try keep the ball somehwere near the hole. this milling is quite mild which i prefer these days so it gives it just a bit more ting in the fingers at impact.
  8. Ns is nippon. https://nipponshaft.com/product/putter/putter2023.php these ones are the ones i jsut discovered while trying to get more purple xxip(long sold out) boh these are a step up from the xxip. and thye look AWSOME. SORT OF PEENING look.
  9. Nowadays , I spend much more of my time on the putting range and on short game chipping, piching practice than bombing drivers relentlessly and smacking irons into the concrete under fake grass mats. Dont get me wrong , i still love to blast the bejeeeeesssaaahhzzzzz out range rocks with the big dawgs but my elbow says NO more than yes these days. As a result , my collection of wedges and putters has ..................grown , while my hoards of irons and woods have somewhat stabilized......, There is nothing more treasure trove hunting wise i love more than to find a great cond. exotic JPN flatty. All the ususal top names are stil very well sought after , Yamada, Hiro mats, Benock,Fujimoto,( (who ever makes for miura ) ,Odyssey Jpn, but ive added a lot of OEM putters of yore recently , Tourstage, mizuno, prgr yamaha, honma, and a few bespoke guys, Docus, masda, (seven), Buchi...... some of the OEMS stuff have surprisingly good charm if u look hard /long enough and while not bespoke, they are made of the right stuff , feel great and play great. they just arnt as special as a singular piece. Cpl of snaps to get the ball rolling...
  10. new NS green and grey are wonderfull new putter shafts. bought a cpl of each to pop into some of my top end heads and they are noticeable... prefer the green at this satge.. but htye still dont have the ohhlala of the dogatti. time has shown me, this has yet to be equaled let alone bested. the green NS is a ripper!
  11. TOURSTAGE 405 HR. 9.5* 2005 MODEL. Gd 65s shaft 91000 yen on release I can see why.... Right up there with the nicest shape head Ive seen. So good. I'm putting a, (it don't need it tho ) diamana aliislei in it. What a club, where was I when this was Out?!!?!! How did this slip thru the cracks?!!!!! Had it toe to toe with the TS P51 stinger combo and It wasn't left behind much if at all, just a bit of feel wise. and tighter diepersion. impresed me so much i jsut said , yup give it a fave shaft. sets up SO nicely. its small but doent look tiny, it looks a bit like a mini diver but with a proper sized face. A Proper size head ...awsome
  12. not looked at a set of yams in years. ( since they branded rmx) never liked any of the new lines and neck these tho , look v intersting, remind me of the prgr tr500s.
  13. FOURTEEN UT 16* 1iron. This is not new , ive been gaming these for ages, with normal shafts. they goes well, gets out there as far as ur swing will allow. at times alittle on the higher side esp into any kind of wind which . although its almost impossbile to miss with t bec of hte head shape, really does kill any kind of distance gains. the ball does get affected. that is of course with " normal " build. however, when u break a top of the line crazy shaft, about 64 inch from the tip but can not bring ur self to throw it away .....u take it to ur Mr wizard club builder and ask what can i do with it .. he says throw it or try a ute ......., which prob wont work..... so u go get it built anyways........then, THIS happens. impossbile to shape. impossible to move laterally at all. impossible to get airborn impossible to hit from the deck. impossible to over power.. utterly impossible.. what do u do with it.............................? u take it Sydney on the links whereits blowin a gale and tee it JUST a bit higher than u normally wud and sit back and go WHAT THE FK IS THIS?!????!?!?!?!??!!? its MONSTER long....... the roll i get from this is insane, its EASILY as long as any 3w but a trillion times easier to hit and keep straight. to say i "fell' into thsis is the understemnt of the milenium. there is NO WAY this wud ever have been built tried discoverd thopught about, unless i hadnt snapped the blooy thing and was too cheap to turf it. iahve THE exact same head with the upgrade GD ut shaft and there is NO similarity waht so ever in results. the GD i can use in summer here and get grat carry more than decdent distance but no way is it a competior to the 3w. its hittable off thedeck but i dont.... its a placement tool to about 230y. the white ghost is an outlier on every front., the only thing i think il lcahnge is the grip to a cadero. wudnt sy go break us best shafts to build one, but " luckily" i did and got this thing out of it.
  14. awake the sleeping dragon......................,
  15. thats a driver. and nope. played the old type d form onoff, this wud be hte lastest model of that, the type d was terrific fwiw..
  16. This Kinosho? Budi wish , these are theTop of The JDM bag tree. Train, cart, lightweight. Good as a bag gets..no way missus bought me this, golf? Present for golf??? I changed to a bigger one
  17. the tp-v has a pretty soft to the feel/ sound BUT isnt a whippy flex ,its playable by jsut about everyone but the sturdiest of whackers. ive had a 65xs in an Astro tour v2 10* for a long time and its by far and way one of my consistantly long ball lamas that is easy to move laterally im not a great lover of softer flex as a rule brings too many potential error thoughts in my mind at address but as @ sx flex this gives me the extra kick( distance) without a super whippy feel. I added this shaft to a modart 16* 4w at a bit longer than ususal specs to play as a one wood set up at times and its a HUGE success tipped it an inch and that makes a big differfence to its performance, brings flight down, tighens up the dispersion but at a light weight can get some decent head speed and hence its NO SLOUCH. the 2014 black tour proto f3 tipped 1/2 inch i have in a kasco fd 12.8* and its tight. much tighter than the tp-v . i prefer this shaft as its more like the characteristics i play and feel comfy with. i have 4 heads the same with diffshafts at the top of the spectrum and this way MORE than holds its own vs them. ( top diamanas+ crazy) luanch is lower. tighter and stiffer cpms off shlt @ 276 so im guessisng this +/- 280 not the best for slower speeds.. this IS a shaft for the heavy hitters.
  18. KASCO FD IMO......, the best club ever made . can use this for everything , it plays totaly differnt dependant on what shaft u have it with, the original is a super whippy elastic rubbery sling shot that is ........awsome, from a tee, its does get a bit airy with the stock but from the deck there no issue at all, gets up goes LONG and one can shape to any shot shape and height u can possibly see. so. naturally i changed shafts in it. Diamana stinger, diamana X, GD9003x,FEX 2014 proto, crazy proto s19s and of coursse the original shaft. there is NEVER a round one of these dont go in the bag for at least the ride up, the only way its not in the bag is when i choose the solid contacts instead, both heads see to go +/- a yard or so from each other distance wise but the differnce in flight and WIND determins which one will get the nod. i use it primarily for a driver alt , i dont hit it form the deck much ,but as mentioned u can, i perfer a 3w or 4w for that. Off the tee in normal conds if i clobber both a driver and this , the kascos prob no more than <20 yards behind , BUT i count on 1 hand the amount of misses ive had with it , ever, By far and away its point of differentiation is the lack of negative results on non centered shots. thers bacically none but IF u do then its never been a catastrophe...........ever.. sure u loose distance but direction is awsome it really is. its so relaible, so automatic, ive gottem so used to this that when ever i play short tracks or from the front tees i dont take a driver , no need. this thing has it covered. I will guarantee tho , this is NOT going to be everyons cup -o-tea, regarldess of how good it plays bec of the sound it makes.. its.... well.....something akin to the equivalent of the saying " it has a head only a mother cud love," but sound wise. Think nike sasquatch. apart from that, one can hit this as far or short as needed. its an amazing stick. made of what kasco calls super hyten maraging titanium , some kind of in house tech which cost LOADS, . persoanlly i love it . For me , i think it plays best with the diamana X.. just has an extra gear to it , nd it laucnhesl lower , but i always kind of go for the stinger version bec the sound./feel combo is my fave + it has a cadero grip , so prefer that from the tee. honestly dont know why i have others for this is so good , but im a clubho, so, why not.
  19. SOLID CONTACTS 2w without a doubt, in the top for tee alterates that can be doubled from the faiway( shaft dependant) , fabulous shape at address, can see any shot shape imaginable and flight height variablity as good as anything ive hit . it has a super strong impact and cant be over powered if paired with the relevant shaft. if i play from front tees with friends ill take this out instead of a driver , gives oooooodles more consitency and isnt really that much shorter than a driver other than into the wind, or when theres a thin fairway that needs placement rather than brute force. . i have 2, shated with a diamana stinger 70x and a crazy black80 sx the stinger has a bit of manouverability to it than the crazy (which is VERY point shoot ) , i can vary ball flight better and its prob a hair longer , ( my fave of the pair ) prob bec i dont have the minerals to ignite the crazy quite like it shud be. Its always a club ill take with me and decided if i game it on the day, any kind of s**tty day( rain. wind ) more oft than not i will take one of these out.. i cud see a possibility that a diamana red series get a go in one of these IF there anymore anywhere out there bec it is more than possible to hit from the deck and negates the need for a 3w.
  20. A-grind r1........ mitsubishi oti90 x ive not gamed these head in years. On release i grabbed a set and put some TT monaccos X in them......., played them for a while ( not long) and sold em , the TT was intersting idea bec. these heads are not the softest marshmallows in the packet, nothing like mizuno, epon or the like, they are very thin up top and u feel an enormous amount of feeback from them rather that just a mushi sweet gush . slight miss**ts were boardering on catastrophic for me so i by passed them for years untill a few months ago when i hit one at a range session (along with my honma tw) and loved the set up , had it on a string so much so i bought the set there and then. lets say the difference between the TTs and the OTi, is extreme to say the least. MONs need the softest heads possible as they are on the taught side of taught... the OTI are a stiffer carbon but not really a task master , they go wonderfully with this denser head, they ahve a noticeable flex, light weight over all but with a heavy feeling head. set up, these " look to the eye " slightly toe in appearance ,which i LOVE being a cut ball striker as a rule, the look to me is super appealing as it always gives me hope that my muted draw swing WILL in fact lead to a draw, somehting that fails me with many other clubs. ball launch is mid ish to not high.. and they are workable both ways to a very appealing degree they are NOT point shoot. distance is good i found i got a half club more carry as a minimum, and im alwasy going a club lower than more when it comes to that in the middle decision . they are im finding, one of my more favourble clubs to game of late esp on dryer ground, they have plenty of sole width for juicy conds but the uber thin top line can be brought into play quite often , hit it high on theee and loose a lot of distance. hit it low....barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrsh..! hence i m enjoying playing these in colder dryie months . really intersting clubs these, on the much smaller comapct side but with a super full borad sole and that triangle shape cavity muscle to give them plenty of gallop when middled. IF ur a constistance GOOD ball strikwe that likes to see movement, these are knockouts! just take care on shafting.............,
  21. To perfectly match the EPONS a set of Grindworks first edition prototype 52/56/60 wedge Heads. $240
  22. jbeam j3 tour 10* ...................... 198g heads diamana X 70s 44.75inch diamana stinger 70x 45.25inch FINALLY manged to get my hands on one of these, built the stinger version the shaft ws slightly longer than i play but i just thought id build a bit of a distance one to see, bec i already ahve 3 other 435s @ 45 inch if it didnt work id cut it to normal play length i prefer. i had it on the range and it was tasty, so gamed it next wekeend and it was LONG and high. first thing i noted was it launched very high for a beam , i loved it. can def notice the extra lenght in hand esp with the slimmer perfect pro grip instead on the cadero , it really does make those bunkers u see on the tee almost........., dissapear ,that might be a bit placebo but its a thing, i flew a cpl id other wise avoid with another set up. very much the Jbeam feel , very hard off the face and instant repulsion is not for everyone, i know a lot of guys dont kike that feel , but when u see the results, thats kinda forgiven. the extra length does come at a cost. i was " spraying" this , or rather , disperion was higher more than the other beams i have in play , but i didnt mind it , i didnt loose anythng so to speak , its jsust not as point shoot as im used to, eps for a beam which above all else IS the straight shooter of straight shooters. so......... another one came up. i pounced , took a diamana X 70s from a yamaha v203 id been testing and went toe to toe with the stinger. toe to toe = chalk and cheese. there is NO, zero, nada, nish, similarities in the profile , feel , play characterisits of these 2 DIA shafts. The X , is the like a gun shot, sounds different, feels differnt runs differnt. its tighter ,its lower and its straighter. I dont quite get the length i do with the stinger bur it NEVER diverts form its aligned path.................... ever. its penetrating, it gets oodles of run and thereis no possiblility of over powewring this, absolutly zero chance. tbh im under gunned for it but my god when i get bit into it, it reponds and then some. its easier on the eye than the 435, its a bit smaller ,not as boxy , more.. refined. there is No pieces missing form it either , its a whole driver head. if ur a fan of the 435, then this is like its little brother, its the repalacemnt for the 425 tour , and its better. cant get these out of my bags since ive buiilt them. ................................ UPDATE: Ive got these fully wired now ,had oodles of games with them. know them like the back of my hand, they are a little differenrt personailty wise despite having the exact same head specs. the X shaft is a lazer rod.!! it almost impossible to move this about laterally ( on purpose) , its not as long distance wise as the black proto but its NEVER anything other that exact. its 100% precision, its unreal. it might be as clsoe to top of the ronge as i have over all i after the weekends games. the black protos got more length to it and is sliglty more moveabel although i think that might be the kick point is more noticealbe. agin its goin round the corner. ut i do feel i have more ability to draw it ever so slightyl than the X. changing the grip to a leather gripmaster so i can use this in the wind/rain. its that kind of club. * both are NOT as long as the 435 (but not much is) ..., they are definaitly for top courses where u can safely put a robust swing on, and have very little fear the ball will go assunder!!!!! about as good as a set up can get when ur on song , simple as that AND they both look superb at address.
  23. MODART 16* - QUADRA tp-v ns 65sx VERY excited to build this , been holding off on this head for a while, i had it with a diamana X 70x that just didnt quite cut the mustard. it was good , i mean it was VERY good , as a stand alone faiway wood it was great , but it wasnt a high enough launch , i want this t o get up and out from a fairway as it has NO business from a tee box what so ever @ 16* . i need this to carry bunkers clsoe to greens , the X combo cudnt do that . This shaft, i have in an astro tour driver , my first astro , that took me So much by surprise getting this into a fw has been a mission of mine for a while, the driver has a 65sx and that goes high carrys miles and has a very amenable feel to it, its NOT a railway sleeper its so nice to hit esp in winter cold , just a bit of flick in the tip, beaultiful electric feel i nthe fingers\, its workable , its a heck of a build , shud be, i got it from a J-pro who just upgraded shaft to a 70s i love this shaft , cud be my fave FEX shaft. so to get what i want in a lighter flexier shaft i had it tipped 1inch to toughen it up just a tad but light enough to get some airtime . lets see, play tomorrow, thinking itll work.... oh yea bingo. exactly what i wanted. still not high but plemty of flight. power and control. at address ot loos awsome. just a bit more loft gives it a very confidentce. inspiring look. tip cut was a revelation, took a bit of the whip from it straighteendit up a tad, vit more powerful was getting trhis to carry 225 and it gets a bit of release on landing.not all carry plop stop. its got some game. can easily be a wood bag i pit it on a tee and it was a success.. this head its SO dense so full. it really is a singularity. plenty of holes with tjs in mind. 3 thumbs up
