last night iwas hitting the graphite design bb7s and the diamana x 70s flex both in pretty typical soft wind conditions, and i weas hitting dead stright back into the wind . not accross it. . the bb7s is. just a bit too soft for me at around.., 110 mph ish. the great shots rocket off it with a draw but the not so centered ones meander too much. both ways. the feel of this shaft is very inspring, its very pingy and delivers a very nice crisp "ping" i love the sound of it.and i love the feel the flight is mid. thats it. mid no real bias form what i find i can hook the pants of it as much as slice it like a bday cake. with gay abandon. (the x flex i will say tho.... doesnt really like the left side) the more i play this shaft the more i like its all round frinedliness. its just a good mate. its ya pub buddy. i have this in the egg spoon HD in x . and i will be resiting the urge to put somehting else in it. beceause its a beauty its stil la bit light and i can make the 7x move a lot more in the egg, but thats not a driver... ... ill say this shaft might become my gold standard taking over , (or rather evolving) from the diamana blue as what i measure everything agianst. all round , this is prefect. covers everyoines needs in every weight and flex at a very reasonable price. the diamana x is a lot more full , its more muted and feels heavier , but not in weight , at impact.its delivers a more .(if u play tennis...) .weighty shot. its noticeably lower flighted as well ,the ball flight has a noticeably straighter ,lower arc. a more robust, thumping players shaft for sure. prob dont think this will suit players that cant/ dont get stuck in quite hard at impact. it seems to go better the more u put into it. where as the BB7s gets a bit lost or loose as u go harder at it. the X doesnt. it laps it up. it hasnt got the more electic feel ths BB has. its def more thudier, its not as nice.. esp when ur on a range just hitting ball after ball u def notice these things. but after repeating with the same club for 10+ balls u get used to that feel. it gew on me nicely and it brought a good smile. for the stronger player id say the X will suit guys more . and thats stiff vs stiff remember. overall i liked the feel and prob the flight of the BB better but its too soft for me the X is def better suited and on course it will be a lot more penetrating. i was using the same head on this experiment.. the kamui pro kp-x. so i saw what both can do and the diamana x was higher lofted 10vs 9.5. the graphite design is a heck of a shaft for a hell of a lot of folks i reckon. but if ur up around 110 ish and ur looking for a bit ofg 'X" factor then the diamana is hard to ignore.
  3. monaccos are ur huckelberry....... and TX flex , dont go softer u hit it pretty hard right?

no.... not neccessarily, the flight is what counts ,personally i dont like the look / feel of the oras as much as say the 1150s. or especially the modus. its a very perosnal thing. asi tried to explain in my diagrams.

yup agreed, with yr thoughts completely . i took the stock grip off and put an iomic absolute in blue, very nice. ive got the yamada razor in burning copper and that was my fav blade putter by a country mile. til this one..., id like the scotty nappa to make the grouping complete, but it aint gonna be better than this .
  9. well.., it seems this will be a mid launch slight anti left bias. heavier , stiffer than the bb7x shaft. and swing speeds of 48-49m/ps shd be using the z9003xf flex NO problems. oooooooh sheeeeesh now im excited. this vs the diamana X yes please...!
  10. ok ferrari guys.. the caliifornia... thoughts?
  11. wow, great stash... can i ask u .......... the FF shaft any good???? img thinking of installing one in my yamada .
  12. well the driver is the crz 425 solid contacts with crazy cb46 7.2.. its a little too soft all round for me. but i built it to see if i cud play consistantly a softer flex with loads of carry. yea i can , but the kick in the shaft alarms me im not used to feeling the shaft warp that much, it delivers a very straight very high ball. but i tend to pull it a wee bit but its fine bec it goes straight. i hit this with the yamaha tour cb5o a few weeks ago in am uck around round adn on one hole striagh up hilli got hold of both well, the yam was prob 20 yards longer, on a good shot. but..........., i did happy gilmnour on on the 18th and it went 281 bec that was thefront of the green. and imissed the eagle putt focurse, and imissed thebirdiep uttt of course,, and i lipped in for a par.. i cudda snapped the putter over hy head ala BO jackson . but i held it together. just ........., so it deos def go... but in "normal" conds its about 10-20 yards short er.. but serioulsy straight. thats waht surpriesed me a lot. i wasnt expecting it to be long. but i wasnt also expecting it to be that consistant. i dont mind it, but its def too soft. i

sergio wins, now thats a nice tune.... carlo, what would these be akin to ?
  14. 11* driver is 100% about 100% carry. which is great when tis wet and soggy, but ull loose a bit of ground ordinarily bec theres literally no run especialyl on softer/lusher grounds, the ball gets up really high really fast and just soars like a ............. terasaur..................... i have one in 11* and ill play it when the ground is very sodden, or as a 2nd driver alternate. its mad easy to hit, almsot never miss**t it . ever. but i dont get the OVERALL distance i like. but for accuracy man its good...! actually i got a 12* as well. u wanna see high . good lord that thing is high ,but stable. but icant see where id use it im not sued to see balls flying high . mine are lowies normally. again, hard to miss it just not long
  15. cud u not take a few MUCH better piccys than this ,really ....?
  16. hahahahahahahah..... yea if u got one of these bugger ya mates..! they can get the bus

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..., the new beast wil be ready tonight............ 10.5* to 10* real loft. 200gram 0.25* CLOSED... yup closed... diamana X 70s cut ot 44.75 inch slightyly heavier head. to give more punch, but this head is predominanlty an anti left head and with the coupling of the diamana x whixh is the same, i figure... ill need shorter length for control. thsi thing hammers the ball so extra length not needed bec it goes far anyway. im gagging to see if this will out perform the 44.5 P9003x. doube lweekend of golf this wekend so results wil be in sunday afternoon. open bag policy this weeknd so i can game both of them together.. perfect testing ground.....!!! im really thinking this driver will be my no1. im really confident this will assumew the bag roll for the rest of the yr. HUGE statement.... lets see.....!

this one is just a wee bit longer than is considerd normal , not sure what the exact length is , but its 1/2 over. its got a magnificent feel, this shaft is a real surprise packet. iwasnt really expecting heaps but its gives me everything plus more. ite very workable and the differnce in cut shots to draw shots in distacne is massive. which i LOVE i can cut this in to a par 3 and loose huge distance and it just falls dead flat. its perfect.

nope, they had a bunch of protos at the show that didnt seem to make it to production, nor shingo kuns driver. i reshafted my jbeam 425 tour with this baby to 44.75 inch. gawd taking that down an inch or so levels the playing field lemme tell ya...! wholly schomkes, shes tight like a tiger now. and much much lower. suits memuch better like this. ilove this shaft
