  1. hahahaahhhaa stop laughing at my rembrandt drawing u lot! i LIKE my drawings!
  2. both the ora and the dp are softer ,but extremely playable for me. i just like the stiffer shafts a bit better bec my misses now then to be lateral and hte stiffer shafts keep the ball o nthe straigh and narrah better than the S, i cant hit a straight ball i have to see huge arcs, ala bubba. so, with the stiff shafts iover cook the balltoo much , with the X if ain left of target nad tr yand slide her back in, chich is my stock shot, then the X will only move a little bit and hte miss ( all things being equal) will not kill me, wit hthe stiff , i loose a lot of distance and lots of lateral slide. saying that when im "on" the stiff flight is magnificent to look at , the ball goes all over the place, but for safety ill use the X. both the ora and DP flex are very similar tollerances, one is def not stiffer than the other.. splitting hairs... the DP i find are shoirter and softer i nthe scoring rions than the oras. i had the ora STIFF in the yamaha 2008 tours and played these as good as any iron ive ever played, so of course i broke them up nad sold them like an IDIOT....!
  3. nope standard install, its the onoff drivers that need a special ferule not the utes,
  4. canu use a GD bb6x ??
  5. well im 100% getting one. i loved the look of the newer (2) version but found it impossible to get right bec it was too damn light. and way to much toe in the air thing. no matter what shft i put in it id struggle, i gave up went back to the original. 13* now thats going up for sale....
  6. zero... i agree completely with that. the tour version gets humougous carry and its definatly longer than the epon zero.. definatly. i was going head ot head last day in niseko with both htese heads. the yamaha was consistanly longer. BUT get this. icant beleive im saying this BUT the zero............................................, yes i was suing as a safety club foe the tighter shots i ahd to make on skinny straight fairways! i dont beleive i said that but its true. the yamaha iwas kabooooming on the pars 5s and long apr 4s the zero iwas just schmoooozing out there with a tiny fade back to the right side of the fairway. i know he epon zero can not go left but boy it can go right. wit hthe diamana X the yamaha tour i can hit more bombs with also its 1/2 inch longer at 45.25inch the yamaha tour is a magnificent head. how hte hell they can make this better again next yr im blowed if i know its perfect as is. the 10* is perfect as well , i found the 9* goes too low. its too hard to get up even teeing it as high as i do. too inconsistant for my swing, the 10* however looks so good at address. looking at that elongated face inspires huge confidence. i like how they limit it to a about 1000 pieces as well. top stick.
  7. hahahaahh i got it here! and no , nothing like the ctpers. iahd them all out at the range yetserday just looking at flights hence this post. the c-tapers are kinda more like the c10s, BUT the c10s are about a billion times niocer to hit. well not a billion but a LOT. the c-tapers are long, the ball def goes a club longer with these shafts no doubt at all. i dont like the c-tapers kick point. it upsets me. dont know why it just does. i dont like the ORA kick point either, but they are nothing alike and i hink the kick is very similar. the sp blue.. would be most like c-tapers. yea.............,

get a kaili 80s and put that in the egg. its a great match i got that in sydney. its perfect. keep the yanah v14 crz fw DONT touch that unles uwant more hight then put the FEX 75x or xs in it. massively powerful club that one. one of the best shaft /head matches ive ever tried the yam 14 and fex,, match made in heaven u WONT be pulling this into the trees left iassure you!
  9. cheers.., they really are quite differnt shaft profiles. i really like to play the 1150 style shafts a lot . esp , when its hot and no wind on fast greens. these are awsome shafts. the ball soars very high very quickly.. and falls. they are prob. 1/2 club longer than the others as i dont think they have as much spin as the DP (modus). these are very very good shafts to play all round . these were my faves till i hit the c10s , then the DPS whcih are newer and more tech.

  14. As ive been asked numerous times by many what are the variances of the NS proto range. i thought i might just open a thread for everyone to get an idea of what the these shafts are all about . besides the look, which is awsome , (but not to everyone ive learned. )... the feel of them is extreme remember...., these are the shafts are put out by NS to the US tour players to get an idea of what plays how , and then they take the info back to the retial market and make the shafts that we get. 1150, modus. superpeening..... etcetc.. heres a brief outline of the way these play as i see it. ive got them all. and they are all vastly differnt beasts. NS really do make shafts that perform totally differntly , and theres a shaft for all players and in all conditions. what i really SHUD do is get the same heads on al lthe differnt shafts for difernt conditions that would be perfect. but it will also be expensive heres my drawing tool version of flight dont laugh its fricvken hard to use this bloody thing..! the codes are.., ORA= superpeening orange DP= modus 3 2f15s= 1150 c10= not sure.. i think they are close to SP blue. my faves, heavier and punchy, awsome shafts. 2s14s = i havnt played yet in irons but are juts incredible in wedges are the best wedges shafts ive hit. ive got htem all and i play them, all. they are horses for courses indeed. excellent shafts.
  15. these are the sp orange...
  16. well you all know what i think of yamaha.... every time i take one out i come back saying why do i have a stable of drivers when htis is so damn good.... i kid my slef i know hte answer, but i dont really... one thing in golf-life holds true, i wil always have a yamaha driver in my rotation.... always..,

  22. The irons are settled the drivers change the ryoma is going greT guns playong itas we speak and 11/13 right now with 2 to play hard to argue with its straighness not the longest the kamuikpx is awsome that comes every game the epoonzero ive been playing alot getting to kbow it better im calling it " shirley"
  23. At address the yamaha tours have a bewithing spell over me its the combo of the thin neck small hea. And high toe i love this look when implaying well i prefer to use this head the 905 are TINY and square but they dont look unplayable at all the soles are minisculefrom tight lies these are great but fir sloppy slushy fairways the yams are much more all round then the personals some where in between from lush they are lush from tight they have enough bidy to get down into the pill and the sole aint that bg it bouncesoff for miss hits its the personals by a mile out of these irons easily the most forgiving and def the bed feeling bit thicker all round but compactso miss**ts go well much much better the modus tx x are to much in the yam heads they are goin can play a softer shaft in these in fact i thnk they ned it im not strong enough to get the most out of them as a combo if u are these are the nuts! Im still yet to miss hit a personal badly its getting worrysome bec when i do the wheels wil come off im sure i get the3iron as good as the pw hard to knock that hard to competr with that these might just be the ones the monacco x is much better suited the stiff in the 905 move too much esp in the dcoring irons cudnt comtrol arc the x are prefect over all the personals just win they are bagged
  24. Disregard the statement about nit hittimg the f14 off the deck thats the differemce the shaft makes with the crazyfw not a hope in hell but the roddio i just knocked it onfrom260 to 15 feet missed the fricken eagle putt!!!!! Yes you most crrtianly can hit the f14 off the deck with the right shaft
