Size comparison between Epon, TourStage, and Miura
supo replied to RIduffer's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
right now i can comment o nthe tourstage 905s they have a very very small thin head, the muscle is angulated and chunky right i nthe centre in a falling wedge shape so offcentre shots get punished. centre shots , well that another story! these come with 950 s weight flowed shafts, and i doubt the need to change these over i nthe longer irons, the scoring irons cud do with a much taughter shaft . the new shape isnt as square as the x blade and the 901s slightly more rounde, ever so slightly but wnough to make them more appealing nad not a boxy, the differnce is slight but def, noticeable. very straight neck, NO offset. the irons are very hard to hit, most def not for anyone except the best iron players the thinness is the thing thatgets bad shots in trouble. the loss of distance and direction is big. they are very soft, very dynamic irons the better players should like these alot they are the nicest of the tourstage blades released so far. with the exception of the us blade, but that had just a small amount of face progression and they are much more rounded and chunky. the TS 905 are the best looking shape of all my irons -

season openeer this weekend the selection has been made for cold spring conds, the ground will be hard as nails still, the greesnlightning nad i it will prob be a case of no carry and plenty of roll so the kamui pro 9.5 ,, stinger gets the nod over the yamaha tour the epon af tours are just so nice and easy to play with the modus 3 prototypes, that was a neasy choice the yonex or tourstage wedges depending on course. the yamaha v 17 stinger naturally the onoff fairway wings prospec 24*roddio pentacross i8 ute, im sure will get a solid workout early doors and hte putter either the axis eagle or the hiro matsumoto blade which rolls a very very nice ball, all wrapped up in TARIOS old onoff bag which i very tasty looking fwd to a good game and stripping out the baron early on! -
ur diver might be the............., diamana 70xx with kamui pro kp-x 8.5* 2* open. u get this ill GUARANTEE you u wont be hittitng sky balls ustill looking for a head gte some info o nthis seriously i had another big range sessison on sunday at my course and this head is so punishing, its similar look to the super deep (????) the 445 isnt that high. yams as a rule dont really go high, quite the opposite mostly. i had a look today at the VR pro theres NO FRICKEN WAY ON THIS EARTH i will be getitng one of those hideous things in my stable. thats the no1 fugly driver ive ever seen.! i dont care how fr those guys that get paid billions a yr to hit the thing hit it. its abslutely fugly no way ho se' high launch low spin.. dosemt have to be latest and greatest callaway erc 3 ? tm burner tp ? maruman 10.5 fine straight?? onoff ????? theres got to be something perfect for this

trying the nunchukc shaft to play 44 inch i need a high laucnh 10.5-11.5 * head with low spin the chuck hits the ball almost nude no spin so i was told i need these characteristics the nike vr tour and tm r11 have been suggested u canunderstand MY reservation with these. pls let it JDM help needed cheers chaps

the p9903x is unreal in a 3 wood it comes in at about 78- gram cut hits a fairly high ball alomost dead straight, and its very veyr hard to turn over. that is the perfect recipie for a spoon shaft ithink. uwont be loosing huge hooks fairways left. EVER. u r miss**ts wil lprob be blocks right, whick i think most would tame over snap hooks every day of the week

just culling a cpl of my back up sets that i havnt played in a while these are endo forged pr gr at thier finest. very reasonable cond. medium size head ,thin ish top line small thin sole rounded toe slight off set. nothing to get worried or excited by, just the norm for j irons. very very soft feel but with a nice punch thanks to the muscle that runs the whole length of the club. wont say dead easy to play , they are for the better player without having to be proesque these were my first foray into very high quality players irons. and they are one of the finest feeling irons to hit . these were about 168000 new at release ,yup thtas plenty! luckily for others i just dont have space for them in my rotation payapl ems + half of shipping $350. !

yea thats spot on. they did a much better job with the BB..well better in my eyes. but gotta say the dj is so easy to control. the mis**ts are good

supo replied to supo's topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
yea these are pretty ordinary il lre take them. its more rounded and higher, the 2010 was more boxier. its a marvellous shape and hits the ball very vey well. -
i had a good chat to the clubbuilder in sdyney who sells these and this si the head he suggested, i gagged, there has to be a high launch low spin head in 10.5 or 11 * that i can get here surely??
