apart from tour issue shafts or what ever thecompanies call these things.. the ks shimada i reckon are fantastic. i built one of , if not the best buids with the miurism /shiamda a yr or so ago. and played these in horrendous condition on brutal links in oz, and i really wouldnt want to play anything else out there. the NS 1150 and the superpeening are also fabulous shafts ,for totally opposite reasons. ns 1150 high nad dop dead. no wind about? not much better than these shafts horrible conds, NS blue top dawg. all round playeverywhere in all conds,, shimada ill take. or maybe the modus now, but the shiamda are lower. the shimada suit the yamaha better , iahd a cpl of NBS protos in the 7 iron forst and the shaimada i just liked the flight better. damn good feel in the kick too. monacco are a differnt animal , they are non retail l release (aparently, they seem to be everywhere!) shimada,,NS1150--Ns blue.... jee thats some good steel ((for stronger swinger))

hhhaha yes my jinglish has slipped since ihave been in asia . cordier isnt a bad word tho, i kinda like it.. something like ...." was a hot day today, like 35 in the shade , i was striking them horribly all day ,driving like miss daisy , my hands are now ruined by the hot harsh more cordier grips on my protos.., time for a rethink..." yes exactly im sure thGD are rebranded PP im experimenting with all kinds of grips right now i was pretty much ONLY an iomic x evolution and PP cord guy for the last yr but ive expanded my mind a bit to see how the softer sdie plays but i want lo low torque still ive found a cpl of beauties lamkin crossline and golf pride dual durometer put these on my monaccos, gettign greeat feel with them. the PP i put on all my woods, every one of them . and on my softer irons with NS protos, i dont htink theres a more stable grip than the PP but for a lovely mushy soft but still low torrque thoese other two have been very good ilike the extra length of them , dont like the short grips, they upset me

i looked at these last night the PP are much more "cordier" than the GP, the GP have more rubber feel to them the PP are much harsher in ur hands, the cord is a lot more pronounced and they are slightly longer than the GP.

well i like it cant think of a negative about it. this weekend wilbe the acid test for sure tho, bev the crz50 and iare best of mates, if it holds its own asgt this in exactly the same ehad ,same weight same lebgth, thn its one hell of a shaft

if u took a photo , or rem the stall near the Tm stand by the wall there was a silver haired old putter grip designer .lookse like a japanese einstein..., whos coloured grips were horrible, lime green with mauve top and about 3 more garish combos. who handed out a scientific explaination why his putter grip is the worlds best... well turns out i think it is! i cant rem the companies name or anything baout the guy, i just bought for for a giggle, played it yesterday, its fantastic it was about a foot long did usee this ?

icant find these bst golf prides i just bought some really really thin cords from GP for my wedges, ultra thin, very soft, for my lob wedges i checked the store alst night pefect pro are made by works japan if u mean agaisnt the bct GP i looked at them side by side, there is a differnce.

the side spin was a noticeable no show on all but one horrible after lunchy slicematron mulligan. we gotta have 1 hour break at lunch over here, its totally rediculous! try coming out fresh after 60 mins of sitting down eating a BIG lunch theres is no golf in japan its old man business meetings SO frustrating...(er sorry what happeened there.rant....!) any way after lunch first shot went bang right into the small wind and blew right , distance tho was still good much better shiitty shot than a lot of other clubs, but NO WHERE NEAR as good as the bad shots wit hthe steel shaft, the steel shaft is KING of accuracy. no doubt there what so ever!! i think if u considering this shaft and ur sitting o nthe fence my recco is get it, if ur upgrading get it if ur a slow swinger forget it. the better it goes the harder u hit it . ill play the crazy 50 and the diamana x and BBx together this weekend

right well..... 950 X driver shaft i nthe solid contacts head 6 drives withthis today 5 middle of fairway one left. this was a draw machine, everyshot went left, must be very heel heavy bec for me to hit draws with woods defies pyhysics! distance-- VERY VERY good, a LOT further than i anticpiated maybe 15 yards behind the yamaha no more , this was extremely surprising, its further than the kasco and lower. very solid driver very good for doing what i wanted it to but a bit longer. iwill be taking this to sydney and playing it at longy its perfect!

took my 2 drivers out today on my home course. not bad conds, no wind 13* pretty perfect actually. the solid contacts with the 950 X steel nad the 10* yamaha tour with the diamana x 60X. shots were not low , they came out a little higher than i expected but a good height, i liked the flight a lot, got a cpl of miss hits , right blocks as is my usual miss. hit about 6 shots with it distance was great! its a very straight very powerful flight, got a ton of carry , not alot of roll but the ground was wet. dont think id put this in the 9* i think the 10* is pefect for it. doesnt quite have th feel of the crazy cb-50 and thats a bit higher with more kick. but the most noticeable thing i got was the straighness of it, i could NOT make this go left no draw , no hook, i really got hold of 2 on the par 5s perfect swing right dead smack on the screws. this was easily up there cazaly for distance the kick point feels totally differnt to the crazy 50 .the crazy feels more tingy and licethan the diamana bu the diamana has a more all over kick, and the spin def was low that for sure, hard to put to words sorry guys either or of these 2 drivers... nah cant say that, i will be playing both of these a lot this yr. diamana x ..............................., me likey!

yes crazy 50 sigma FW that was easily the best of the fw shafts i hit at crazy, out of the black fw and the sigma ,much , much better the other thing u might wann look at is the GD p9003x thats a howler of a fw wood shaft,m as u know u cant /wont overpower it . in a non slim line head it will go, put a 6g tip weight in it . i had one in a NEW egg spoon and it was bloody lovely , but i cant hit the new eggs. it does my head in. diaman thump. there another one that wil suit you. imgaming one in my utility, it THUMPS literally thats 85+ gram.

yes............ so there i was a few short weeks abo, stuck with this driver head and NO shaft to put in it. how can this possibly be i hear u all ask.... surely living in JDM land that MUST be impossible. well it wasnt...... i picked up a driver that i have done a cpl of small pieces on previously from solid contacts. its got a made for solid , fujikura shaft in it that weights 45 gram. get this the whole club, weighs just on 250 gram! i bought it out of novelty really thought it might make a nice play thing, i like this comapanys driver heads ,esp the shape of the face, super looking things., took it to the range and played around with it last weekend i didnt hit it that badly ,really ,infact i kinda really liked it. the head that i was really into. its a 360 cc head in 10.5* all face , the body is tiny with a big rounded pear shape to it. its a good looking head. so i take it to my builder ,and just say, work some magic, make it sing. what do i need to put in this ? crazy,,quadra,,,,diamana.... p9003x uwant em, i got em, whats its poison? he hands it back saying i cant help u, the head is only 165 grams! , nothing will suit it, nothing.. im stood flabergasted as u might expect. but i just hit this with a stick of spagetti and i like it, surely there is somehting?? no Gd 9003x not crazy sigma.. what??? nope , he hands it back i walk off depsondand but not defeated, of COURSE theres a shaft for this i say. first i have to explain what i want this driver head to do no its not toplay 300 yards shots , i just want an insurance driver, a quasy 3 wood. similar to the kasco FD , similar to the RC dr spoon,, but a bit more robust, more driver looking ,somehting that wont go so high. something in affect i can take to windy longy and bang a few off the 16th with confidence that ill hit the short stuff to the left and not blow right into the parramatta grass, which i wil say is like hitting form heather,, but much,much worse. next time im back in he shop we stand there and i say , hey what about steel????????? he fingers his chin , goes gets a catalogue and comes back woth a NS 950 steel s driver shaft hmmmmmmmmm this might actually work. ":charrenger" he says and build it. i took it out last week and was clobberign the daylights out of it. not left . not right, not overly short either for yr guide!. high ish but no balloons , and easy to hit the 10.5* got de lofted a wee bit with the steel , and it was hititng nice mid high shots that stopped dropped. could hit stingers, snap hooks , punch fades, all pretty well. distance was more than adequate. perfect pro cord gripped it looks great.. will take it out the game tomorrow as my course is very tricky and requires much more accuracy than distance on a lot of holes cant promise anything yet but steel shafted divers for accuray might be something in this ??????????????????????????????
