guys , i hit this agn last night miinimum of 30 balls each with the diamana x and quadra fex im even more impressssed by its performance than i was on the course last week, , no wind 18* perfect conditions nad i was hitting the ball as good as i can hit it. the quadra fex was so much longer than everything else . i was watching the ball catapualt into the back fence on a PERFECT decent about 15 yards higher than with the ryoma, the yamaha, and the diamana X. the X incidentally was once agn far and away tighter all round... the FEX loads longer. i dont know if it s poor quality or not , the guys at the factory seem to think its top of the pops. all i know is what happens when i hit the ball this wins, and wins well. its not soft and snuggly and comfy like ive said , i tried hitting a few powder puff safety drives and i would have been better off turning right and throwing the pilll over the side fence. when i had a crack tho.. stepped on the gas. oh brother where art thou. its huge. i have so many drivers at the very top level wit hhe very best shafts. this is the longest driver ive ever hit. i dont care. who makes what. results count. this isnt for everyone tis for belting the living daylights out of . i havnt hit anything longer. im gaming it on the weekend both days. shud be great weather. cant wait to see how it goes at the long straight wide open fields of narita. narita is THE acid test for length. i think , ill be pleasantly surprised.

they are reverse weighted like the PW is at c9 and the 3 iron at d4ish found out last night they were muscled up NS 1050s . they are tight but ever so slightyly workable. high flight like NS 1050 which were my fav stock shafts a while back.

reading htis inspired me to take my ryoma out lastnight and give it another whirl built mine with a GD 9003x and cut to 44 inch jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez..., have to get used to the length agn after hittting longer drivers i had a great target to aim at. and was playing imaginary holes with this driver for about 10 mins at the end of the session. first thing is its heavy, its low as hell ,and NO spin, i had it injected with gel to get the centre of gravity DOWN specifically to play at home where i dont need alot of distance. just alot of accuracy. what i noticved was its reallyreally hard to tun it over, didnt get one to draw not one. cpl of straight pulls when i stepped on it , but no arc. other thing is i didnt slice it neither. wasnt really long at my ss BEC IT WEIGTHS SO MUCH but it was notoceabley straight. ws hittign stinger drives better then i hit big follwo thru shots im thinking this is perfect for longy and NSW. its coming home to live. the gel insertion makes a humongous differnce. the feel is great now its a real THUD and nude balls fly off the face. specific driver made and passed the test. stil think the crazy 80 ls noir is the best shaft in this head very satisfied. wouldnt reccomend hitting a lot of balls at he range with it tho its really heavy. my arm fell off this monrning .

thats why on yamaha driver heads i strongly endorce 10* heads over 9* unless u can really belt the cover off the ball consistntly to a T. if udont it will go low and right most of the time. the 9 * can be quite stressy, if u dont absolutely get it it goes right every time . if u DO get it clean tho . whoa dragon! the 9* is a low ball lama the 10* just sits ups so much nicer at address nad gives you much much more confidence. instead of changing driver heads completely , get the 10* head. unless of course u want the ultimte in forgiveness. at yr SS the 9.5 ryoma will suffice perfectly, dont go higher. and put that shaft in it thats my mates set tup.. its killer

do u think this is a better match for that head than the crazy tho ? ive been thinking of putting the crazy ls noir back in it or trying the diamana X . but the ls noir was so deadly accurate not as long as others but its so so straight.

gotta do a little piece on this for the harder hitters out there. ive got 3 now. im no drakon moster either, i can hit it out there a ways ,but by no means am i overly long. i had a speccy buy of this driver at the behest of my culbbuilder, i was asking him for a sydney low ball hitter and he came up with this head. i rehsafted a 9.5* with a diamana stinger on his idea , after hitting the atas t2 combo which i found preposterously low . 9.5* this is one heck of a club fisrtly the combo works brilliantly, the head is very hard at contact. its not a nice musshy comfy feellng head. the harder u hit it the better it sems to go a-la the crazy 435 . the 9.58 head i found low and this will be the one i send back. the other 2 i got are 10.5 for here in JP. choosing the shafts i figuered id want a low spin launch shaft so i put the diamana X 70s in it. and the other i wanted a driver with a quadra fire express so i thought this might suit bec although its lwo spin the quadra aint low launch. so i figureed i might get some big bombs going. well sat. wasnt the ideal day to hit soaring bombs thats for sure. but i gmaed all3 of these driver for 9 holes. and resluts were pretty definitive. cant be anything but in conditions like i played on the weeekend. horrific, utterly horrific! the 9.5 stinger was a little bit low. but it was a super club for the day. it pierced the wind , it didNOT baloon what so ever and i could rely on it getting a decent distance into the cross wind. it was a good choice. wont be playing this in lush summer days thats for certian. the lowness of it procludes this completely. the 10.5* quadra fex,, well, now i rem why i went away form the FEX. lets say shirly temple when this is good its very very veryv ery..... good , when ur not quite theres its absolutley fricken horendous for non draw hitting drivers of the ball , the good shots i got with this like on 14 were as good as antyhing ican hit. hte ball didnt balloon , it went high sure but the arc was pure there was no low to high.. it was just straight high. didnt move left 1 iota. went gunbarrel straight. great distance. the bad ones. oh boy oh boy.. high wide and right. terrible, the worst drives i can hit. i found iliterally had to slam my right arm thru the bal to get this to go striaght, in comparison to say the epon crazy boron where i just had to swing easy and got a beautiful flight. but the good ones i got withthis were awe inspiring literally. this combo would be the best there is for a guy that gets EVERYTHING to turn over ,bec at thats SS if u miss right ur dead. but the long ball lamas out there would devour this driver. the diamana X 70 s in it .apart form the striaght pull on the first everything i hit with this after the fact was spot on no where near as punishing as the quadra but i also feel wasnt quite as rewarding on th good ones. i dont think thats was the distance result ,bec thta too was terrific, its the feel. the diamanas ive lways thought lack the finesse of other shafts but results wise, 2nd to none. masters of none . afte digesting the info i got from the day plus on the range earlier where i must have hit another 50 drives with all drivers . id rate the quadra as trhe best of the best and the worst of the worst. if u dont hit draws, dont use this shaft thats my honest opinion. the stinger was and is just an amazing shaft, feel is literally 2nd to none. and performance just perfect. overall its hard to top day in out its myshaft. the diamana x .. on days like sat thisis the shaft head combo ill be using end of chat myswing suited the look , the ability to not get there 100% without getting killed. the good ones ,wel lthe good ones with a broomstick nad tissue box go well really. but the good ones in horrid wind were awsome. the bad ones i was alive and kicking, ,stilll doesnt like to got left but it will. the combo is a good match and anyone looking at hitting the ball hard and low will find this set up pretty impossible to competewith literally. its closet cousin is the superdeep TM but with infite more feel and finesse. the face is super solid . tis a large face with a tiny body looks wise. delivering a punishing blow , u can throw ur hands has hard as u like thru the ball and be safe. i dont think its for everyone, but those it is for will have a hard time changing over i feel. full forged titanium head, recomened for hitters over 42mp/s to long ball competitors . u loking for a differnt kinda head,, this could be it. it was for me.

depends on yr shaft choice. personally i prob wouldnt get it any loftier than 9.5* this with a BB 7s might be a prefect combo aswell. little higher launch shaft low low spin and supreme accuracy of the ryoma head. iahd mine with the crazy ls noir and thtas was the supreme driver. im gonna go back to that agn i was stoooopid to break that up honestly. or say in 10.5 with an attas t2 kinda thing that one cancels the other kinda thing.
  20. supo replied to robbie's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
now THATS one hell of an idea the ryoma with the diamana X why didnt i think of that earlier. that might be to much of a carrot to resist.

perfect, that been my biggest worry getting spin form the lob for real clsoe quarter shots lobs over grass to tight pins. the ns kinda go high but dont spin and the DG x100s.., well............., uselesss!

nah i got my stash sorted. rebuilt all the eggs agn last cpl of months on ozzy corurse the egss are so damn good. can smash the hell outta them for miles, as theres bugger all OB. over here theres ob on top ob ob, in course ob every cpl of holes its pathetic. they have no idea about golf here , none what so ever. and my "egg course " is right in the earthquake zone so im afraid to go back to it, prob the best course ive played and im too chicken to go back. the eggs there i hit on about every 3rd hole .
