theres no similarities in feel what so ever. the yamah has the unmistakable ENDO feel to it. the kamui is much harder, its not harsh mits just ahrder, the face feels harder at impact. the yamaha def has the more appealing hit, but the results with both for me are spot on. the 9.5 is pretty low, its noticeably lower than the yamaha 10* for sure. the 10.5* isnt that thing launches rockets.. uwant high hang time , man u shud see this thing with the diamana X its high. i love it, this will be getign TONS of airtime this summer for sure.

had a big old hit with both yesterday to discover the secrets of both for myself finally. c-tapers.., low launch (low spin. id think )very tinny kind of feel very straight. imagine these will go great in tough conditions. when u need to keep em running low and stright. feel was interesting. nothing like what im used to. but i can see why they get air time out there. they are great looking shafts too. i didnt get them to sing very well. but i dont think thats what they are for. these were ernie and phils protos( i beleive) . interesting to see how they go. they perform very very well and under presssure of a hard hit , they dont go where they arnt sposed to go. thye just lack a nice clean feel, esp with the quality of the heads that were on them, that was a dissapointment the performance wasnt. i guess the c-tapers are made for the more robust strong player that can really get in to his shots on every shot.. these ones seems to be especially straight and they arnt that stiff either! good shafts the c-tapers, def not for everyone modus3 TX flex. never used these before either. got a heaps of the DP protos which the modus came form but no retail actual modus. high,( not floating) stable flight . ball ljust drops form apex to ground. i was worrried these would over shoot the target first few shots. no siree, they just dropped perfectly feel is very reminiscent of the protos but a little toned down , a bit softer all round. extremely nice to hit, much nicer to play than the 1150 and 1050s. diffentt kick. i like the 1150 flight better they had a solid arc , i get high soaring bombs wit the 1150s but the modus are a better control shaft for certian. much better to take dead aim. and get s close. spin seems higher with them as well. not sure if thtas hte case or not , but thats what i thought. the better to play shafts are the modus by a country mile. wasnt great conds yesterday and i had no probs in just taking dead aim and letting the shaft do its thing. the modus are a pleasure to play. these ARE for everyone.

ooooooooh i know where il lbe dropping into for a "nioghtcap" when i finally get my ass over to play cal golf! -
ive been working really hard at he 2-3-4-5 irons , and im getting pretty comfortable with them. ive got an egg 6 iron that i reshafted with NS950 hybris shaft in S , that works as a quasy hyrid, iron kind thing goes really high and falls dead to a spot. thats what i want 190-200 yard club. for "just in case" shots. i gamed that yesterday in a free for all bag and had great results with it, so im gonn keep to it , just in case.

bec my mate had these identical clubs i used them in a net sesshy and loved them. so i bought them, exactly as his were. i took em out for a game and i JUST CANT HIT UTES! ive given up completely and utterly. im so frustrated.

what a great set of sticks. ihad those heads a while back, and they are so sweet., good shaft choice to keep the ball a bit lower. these ones are in the final of the best looking sticks out there i think , the blue GM look awsome dont they . i got a set of blue ones without any shafts on em . bec i just found the GM to be too fat in the righthand so i benched them in all but one set of srixon pro 100s. ill play them a bit in OZ next week to see if i can get them wired a bit, bec i love the feel of them ,they are so tacky. oh BTW welcome to JDM!

leme just say this about ease of use. these are thick, they are small heads compact heads , but thick throughtout the muscle. tourstage are thin and long, u dont felll ike uhave to hit hard at these heads , like u do the thin long ones. they are much easier to hit well and they ahve a much more satisfying feel to them bec of the thicknes. for somew reason i dont know why i just dont gte along witth them like the yonex or srixon pro 100 but they feell better. if u read fro miura san he say the smaller heads are in fact easier to hit than huge bulbous GI irons. i didnt find them hard to hit more than others, i love the smallness of them. but for me im 100% about looks at address, and i like the yonex srixons better. so i hit htem better these are def better feeling, they have something extra in them that u just cant quite describe. im at a total loss as to whats wrong in me, somthing akin ot the epon 302 , i had a sismilar issue, fav club but i couldnt gte em to work

i tell u what tho. if u play a lot of differnt courses. with varying degrees of diffiulties and lengths from tees, like i do. then having the ryoma as the "other " driver is a very very good idea. the reason i went bezerk with drivers is bec i play a differnt track every week, and i want to maximise my enjoyment bec its so fricken expensive to play. i literally have a differnt driver for each course . i OBV dont really need to do this, but hell , im in the belly of the JDM beast so why the hell not! i packed my bag for sydnery last night , and im tkaing a crazy amonut of clubs this time and ive already designated drivers to courses. the ryoma i predict will be gettign a GOOD solid work out this time, and end up living in sydney. hell its a hobby and u gotta enjoy ur hobbies. but, just get a ryoma, AS WELL, not instead of..............,
