thats funny i was having the same convo, yesterday with spooon. ive hit the 70 s BB and i find it quite soft flex. its def low spin and launch but i need the x flex most definatly . beautiful feeling shaft , it feels very elasticy not dissimlar to the quadra FEX a lot more like this than the crazy shafts which feel like crystal in comparison. i like it a lot ill get one in 70 x if they make one.

Yururi Raw Flatback Irons with Nippon Modus 3….
supo replied to EdGolf's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
the proj x 6.0 flighted satin stiff , i had in my miura 1957s, a while back they felt nice but they were like a stick of sticky spagetti, so flexible, impossible to control the ball well. i was missing the greens with monotonous regularity. all over the palce, not a good shaft with tiny blades thast for sure. they certianyl wre pleasing in the hands tho but the results i got were horrible. i used a set of shimadas in a set miuraisms and they were just magnificent so much better results than with the PX ive got a set of monnaccos in the sb-01s now and im not convinced, the shimadas suited my play better, the monnaccos are stiffer and tighter un doubtably but those shiamdas are just so nice. tossing up what to do with those sb-01s now.. cost me a fortune here to reshaft clubs, heavy pondering going on at the moment. as for the c tapers. well i have the KBS tourX in my set of sakammotos in oz and they actually suit perfectly. i hated the KBS in other irons but in those sakkys, they go great. so i leave em as is. the distance gains with those irons is crazy. its at least ............ a full club longer , so 5-pw is not worries at all. just need to game an extra wedge. i need to test a KBS c- taper before i put em in anything. i have beautiful epon 302 that i try all my shafts with first, ill pull the shimada out of that and try the KBS. -

yea i tried it . its nice the 70s i is a bit on the soft side , but it seems pretty low and has a very nice feel to it like to try it in 70x think that would be a beaut feels more elastic than the DI range. more complete form tiop to butt. its in the yammy tour .

on still days , level shot , i think around 205 +- with the yamaha tours which are 2* strong. with the miura ism id say 10 yards less or if ur gary woodland, 208 up hill into the wind all carry with a lob wedge !

from all my experiments the original egg is still the overall distance king. from the tee the tour edge exotics gets it. the best compact players fw is the RC 304p the best over all easy to use good in every dept is the yamjaha v and the rc bbb type h form a few rys ago from the turf i liked the yamaha v the egg spoon new model and the birth black bullett. the black bullett was a very nice fw. didn t take off OS but i assure u its one ofdthe best fws to hit all these are slightly older models. i havnt hit the newer ones bec these are just so good. the RC blader-X has is the other one id jump at to get in my bag. love the look of this fw.

Oooh hold ur hirses there , chill winston! sp blues are prett good if ur a digger and or a sweeper and can get thru the ball well from what the guys tell me abt the. C-Taprrs if u hit from high these are the worst shafts on the planet. No spin at all not much fun to be had there i dont mind ns shafts and as for girls......... Might be a bit strong, no? Pretty sure im not

roy coll pretty much anything very hard to beat. the trc models go great, the yamahas are more elongated, longer bodied . or if u like a more robsut workable model ,the onoff fairway wings pro spec are great, esp if u like broad soles on the utes. and as much as i hate to day it.., the TM white ghost thing or whatever rubbish marketing name they called it, goes extremely well, dead straight. point shoot dozo no feel tho, just dull boring TM but hard to say a bad word about it , just goes so incredibly straight

re "doing head " refinishing them i want to breath fresh life into my marus. get a bit of an aggressive groove going whats the best way any clues? golds obviously , but are there other options?

had a good session with all my wedges on sat the ns 1150 are very high and def light much much lighter and lower spin , the ball seems to go airborn amnd jump off the face without getting too much spin, totally differnt feeling tothe WV which seem to suck the ball on the club face longer and sling its off with lots of spin. totally differnt stlye of shot. the shaimadas were lower felt more thumping, got plenty of spin. last night i went thru all my wedges trying to work out which ones i was going to change to the NSproto wedge shafts ive had stashed without heads. i couldnt make my mind up. but DEF the shimadas were not getting changed, that must say something.
