JPN: Mb-blades thread..
if u like a modern mb ,whcih of late i havent been that enamoured with... sorry by the oems, bespoke are adiffent thing... anyway IF i like ultra clean lines, minmal egregious face progresion, a non scoopy pw AND a noticeabley thicker top line. these are IT! not giving them away......., but of ALL mbs ive seens of late ,these are easily the sweetest to the eye. not hit one yet. hoping to this wekeeend, bec if they play for me , like they look, thee wil be added switly. miz website only st this tage il pop my shots up when u hit them these in hand rank RIGHT at the top for looks, eps the pw.. rivals the honma tw727. seen them twce now and cant take my eye off them. https://mizunogolf.com/ca/golf-clubs/mp-series/mizuno-pro-m15/

fire express dgl 115 , any one play them?
Right got a set of these....................fantasmagorical............ shafts. Distinctive kick point thats neither too loose nor too tight . delivers a beautiful lift on the ball that doesnt balloon nor kill mercats, it it goes Up and out and over. stiff enugh to be wokrable without over exerting but pin stiraight when hit flat. i headed them with some buchi blades where i once had dgs200 lights (not for me thanks) and the difference is other wordly . bought after sage advive from mr i-drive (as expected) ... not only they play awosme they look sennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnsayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyycshonal!!! not quite as dynamc as the crazy cb80ltd but nicer than the mitsubishi otis, IF u can find a set.. they will make ur eyes light up t hese puppies.

MY fairway woods ....
maruman exim nano 4w @ 18 * .... diamana thump 70s > = distance, THUMP mid high power! its been WHILE SINCE I FOUND SOMETING WORTH ranting about but i think this might be worth it. i took the stock shaft out bec that was never going to cut the mustard and popped in a close as u can get to a lead pole , the DIA THUMP ive had idle ( for a damn good reason, its like railway slepeer) instead.. ... the clubs blurb is it goes high launch + high carry, and its very easy to hit. getting it in hand i see why, its a big head , almost asymetiric in look , its all tumbs no finese at first glance, its not something go oh yes this is a precision tool for putting the ball to an exact spot / distance......., and when i hit it................... thats EXACTLY WHAT IT ISnt ,its a get yee out there lad! . So far ive had a range session where i was under whelmed, then i played i with proper golf balls and WOW, yup its a thing! The combo of big head, full but semi high face and that asymetic look makes hitting the ball a snap. i was using it for par 5s second shot and getting it right out ther with my 3 woods, but with JUST a smidge more height this sahft combo is NOT high spin high sail its thump!!!! . so, its long for sure , distance wise is excellent. its low mid flight but with that 18* face it makes looking at long carry obstacles or slghtly down hill lies SO much nicer than a 3 wood. laterally its got some possibility but it favours right side over left , i tired to really get it to draw with not much success . Hiting a cut fade was like waking up in the AM and im SURE thats a factor of the shaft more than the head. i have plenty of courses to use this on and the ones with any fairway fluctations wll get the nod. its NOT like a 5w the flight is too low as it is now , its a very easy 3w. good build , can use it with just a utiity and max more wedges or anpther putter. maraging face................. remember the old tour edge exotics........ ?? very simiar!

GRINDWORKS MB-1 PROTOS These delicious things were designed by MR EPON of yore, S-yard -, > Kobayahsi san its prob no coincidence that 3 of these alomst exact same shape heads were about pretty much the same time, these, 7 and mirai ground by shinagawa , mid 2010s +/- , ive played them all and they wre all super.. but i kept these ones for no other reason than they wer the last ones i recieved cud /wud easily have had any of the others... As for lines on an mb, these and the honma 727m are about as catchy as an iron can possiblly get., no similarites at all but equally . delish to the eye. ok so thyese launch FKKN HIGH for a MB. they go to the moon, mine are sahfted with NS proto DP (120x) that in my masdas DONT fly high so , i m guessing the head shape takes a lot of that repsonisibility. at address they set up slightly offset but nothing tht cud dstress a non off set lover. there is definatly some ,esp if u comare it the above mantioned HONMA for eg.. , they are a thicker , meatier mb with a semi thin sole, small comact head volume with a feel, u need to check to make sure u hit the ball ! , this ombos shaft.head is redciulsoly soft. thing any epon, mizuno, onoff.. its RIGHT up there with those if in fact. not more so! BTW thats not what i prefer in a head i like somehting with a bit of information where u hit the ball , my fave eg of that is a tour yamaha. prgr, tourstage > endo feel. i have no idea how a club can feel differnert when its sposed to be made of the same stuff at the same factory.. but after hititng pills from these JPN foundres for 3 billion millenai ........ oils AINT oils! Now as they have a thicker over all presense to them, i dont tend to play these on hard pan, or dry cond. For mid smmer in moist lands however these are out f this world. can play these heads in a typhoon esque water cond and not miss a beat. im not 100% satisfied with the shaft selection i put in them if i did them again id put DGs200,/ tt monacco/ super peening blue, shimada tour 115s in them to give me a bit more instant information on strikes, IF u dont like a bit of rigidity then as they are cant be beaten for out and out " feel" . they are very workable can comfortably move these to your mind wishes with ease. they have what they call a dynamic centre of gravity (DGP) the 4-iron having the lowest center of gravity. for easy flight and increased distance. 5, 6, and 7, have a slightly higher center of gravity for maneuverability and direction priority . , the 8, 9, and PW, have a higher center of gravity, stable trajectory and easier control of ball spin, to shoot at pins top drawer irons i dont play a ton but when i do take them out , im always glad i did.

MASDA V2 BLADES 3 sets of these. NS 120X. 130XS. 105X 120X for Links, 130s for summer.105x for winter /rain. Long hosel, dont like going left Very much. Flat sole thick top line, longer rectangle body. Dense meaty Compaction at impact. Middled as good as everything. Off centre Well....you know about it. Not forgiving at all.but who wants a forgiving Blade?! Good distance with these they launch low, so u get roll with the longer irons. I think 1/2 club more than comparable heads at same loft. incld rnr out. these are not gonna carry a creek at 200 with the 5i tho. Itll get there but str8 into drink!? No these are not for high zrip grip rip. Why I play the on links a lot in fact prob more than any other set. Esp..almost. exclusively wly when it windy. ... had a hit with these the day itook the snaps o check my info was up to date. 100% it is, i have changed my swing a bit so was gettign them to go left abut about 1/4 as much as i do with the honmas. so the info stands. very veyr hard to loose the ball left thru over hooking. Masda slicks first choise for grip naturally.. but thes iomics on my link s set give a bit more softness.

JPN: Mb-blades thread..
good question.. 100%yes.. for sure the shafts makes a big noticebale difference. i have 3 sets of masdas. -ns 120x used for links and wind. the X is vastly taughter than the S in 120s adn this keeps the ball lower but they re not heavy so u dont feel like its a railway seeper in hand. -ns 130 xs protos.. heavier , higher and softer landing. not long, the ball seem to go a bit shorter, not by much buy u need to think each club 1/2 longer or shoter 6, or faster 7??? ,i LOVE these shafts when its hot humid. nothing beats em. -ns 105x protosx lightweight, very high launch very light in hand swing weight. winter specials when the wnds not up. dont like 105s as rule even tho they are in a few of sets bec the yare just so easy to use and the opposite if the 130s,, need to think 7,8 not 6/7.. ifind they are not the best feel either , ive got these in some buchi protos ,middled ..., they are sesntional butwhen u get them a tad ff cetnre u know about it. shimada 3001s are in a set of epon aftours i built as daily all rounders. magnigivent light weght sturdy shafts. honestly i cant see why u wud cahnge form them ifu like them................... ifu do id suggest some NSpro they go so well in mbs. just find ur ball flight , weight preference.

SRIXON 945 mb 5-pw HEADS
Decent /good cond travel set. . WITHOUT DOUBT THE HIGHEST tech mb that anyone has made. ENDO CROSS FACE MICRO milling, tungsten, semi flighted long irons , heavier scoring itrons. etcetcetc.. THEY play more like a players mb cavity than a blade say like honma or miura mb, not like these at all, thnk prgr tr500 kinda performance. made at ENDO btw for Hideki Matsuyama shaft choice, somehting a bit more robust , firmer, taughter, tuffer is prob preferable as these are insanely .. like crazy ass soft. DG SHIMADA NS 1050X kinda thing $250

JPN putters..,
TOURSTAGE mallet pv5 this one, was desgined , made and THEN refurbed by KITADA. for me as a bday present, re milled it with a non glare matt sheen. its WAS my all rounder for all conditions but its now definitely best on faster greens with the shaft /grip combo ive gone for , thicker leather gripasmter to take more hands out if it, on slow greens i tend to leave it sort but when it get s quick this SHINES.! on the larger side for a mallet with a high face and thicker top line i tend t oplay this more upright with a pendulm swing . feel is crisp and instantaneous, immediate response on where the ball was stuck. ive 3 of this type of head shape all with slightly differnt characteristics. this and the miura for fast, the yonex and benock for slower. purpousely gripped them all different for diff greens/ days/feels. this not in play at the moment, the greens are too slow but when a dry winter comes down under , this will get a lot of play . as a guide WE get : slow s stimp peed 8.7-9.4 mid a 9.5-10 fast 11-11.5 , ive not seen many faster than 11.5 aprt for mthe days afte a tournament , i thnk th quickest igot was 12. . AND.. for a WEEKEND chopper ............. thats FOOKEEEN rapid!

JPN putters..,
This yonex ezone mallet has beenway more than just a peach recently. . A tad head heavy in hand , dense full body impact with full deep milling the super compact head has acutally usurped its competitors (with the same shape.. ie.. the TS, the benock and the miura,) for a regular bag spot . Where as say the Miura has a very light super direct charcter and excell on slower grassier lies and the benock is very firm, very fast off the face, or the toursatge which is a medium get what u put into it results , vs the yonex, is all about distance control, its so good at getting to the pin, i was using it on the weekend on greens and the way the ball just stops dead to about where its a tap in is why im baggin it at the moment. i was going head ot head vs the others mentioned here so its not random, all of them ahd thier better bits but over all the way th e ball jsut dies at the hole is the reason. if im honest , as much as the others in its category are regraded more Highly(????) i wud be hard presed not to take this one. -the TS is a wonder full all rounder, played a bit upright it simply does tis job, i cant see any big plus' or negatives on it. its just a great piece on any green. -the benock has a feel that is only benock user can understand, its like no other, the ball almost repels off the face as soon as it hits, its SO dense but.. its light in the hands at the same time , its really hard to adequatly ilustrate in words, i love it on slow greens where i need to get a bit handiser to get the ball there. but for me.. at this stage this yonex has game time prowess most times. loving it, oh and it looks awosme, that cord grip really hs my attention im even getting a cpl more .
