Soft feeling JDM Driver
Haven't come across many that said Yamaha drivers are not good feeling. Well, can't say anything about the 2008 Model. But my 2010 V201 sure is soft and muted. Love the feeling of that driver.

I was just wondering if the Jbeam FWs are as good as the drivers? Never heard anything about their FWs? Anyone know anything?

which flex for matrix altus hybrid shaft for 98 mph driver SS?
Just had my first hits at the range with my new adams a12 hybrids with the matrix altus r-flex shafts. I really enjoy hitting those. Very good ball flight. I can feel the shaft loading which is a good thing. Very predictable and I think it has no problems handling my SS. On a normal swing, I was surprised to see the ball go up in the air quite quickly. I thought, It would launch lower. But after a few swings and getting used to the new club and weight (it feels much havier than my previous hybrid), it's easier to control trajectory. I could not keep my old burner 07 low. Didin't matter what I did. Now this, you can control. The shape at address is perfect. Don't really like the 2 finishes on the crown (matt and shiny), but it's not a big issue. It's for sure not the most forgiving hybrid out there, but I think it is forgiving enough. Feel is good as well. Not JDM (soft) good but ok. It feels very solid but with a little punch to it. Something in the middle of a FW-wood and an iron. IMO perfect for a hybrid. The only really thing that I don't like is all the gaps and the weight screw in the sole. Very difficult to clean the sole afterwards;) Overall, I'm very happy with it and I will keep this combo in the bag.

Egg Spoon 15* Shaft Flex Numbers
I'm just a couple of miles faster and I had the old Egg with the M43 shaft. It was able to handle it fine. So, with your 95 mph SS i would also stay with the M43.

which flex for matrix altus hybrid shaft for 98 mph driver SS?
I'm about to change hybrids. My old trusty 2007 burner rescue is making space for some new gear. I've been looking a long time for new hybrids, but never found any jdm hybrids I really liked shapewise. I came across the Adams a12 hybrids and like how they looked. Especially with the stock shaft offering being the real deal Matrix Altus and Aldila Rip VS proto. I tried a Rip shaft in a driver and didn't like the feel of it at all, so I thought the Altus might be a better match for me. Unfortunatly, I can't find any dealer here (I live in Germany) that carries Adams clubs, so I couldn't demo. Therefore my question on shaft flex. I think I will be going with the regular flex. I have a smooth tempo so it shoud work well. Thank you guys for your advise.

which flex for matrix altus hybrid shaft for 98 mph driver SS?
If I put it the other way around. Would a regular flex altus hybrid shaft be defintly too soft or would it still be able to handle it?
-
which flex for matrix altus hybrid shaft for 98 mph driver SS?
I'm just a little worried since I've read in other forums that this particular shaft is rather stout.

epon 101 VS 102
How do the yamahas stack up against the epon in your opinion? That would be interesting. Can't imagine anything feeling better than the yamahas.

Epon vs yamaha driver
I'm pretty sure this is the 2009 Model V4.6 rpm.

Epon vs yamaha driver
Haven't hit any Epon Drivers but I do own a Yamaha V201 10° Driver (2010 Model). Therefore, I am a little biased. I cannot emphasize enough how good this thing is. Combined with the proper shaft for you it will be a weapon. The V-Series is the players' model. It's certainly not the most forgiving driver out there but it is forgiving enough for me. And I am nowhere near the player type category. Sound is very muted which I like. Feel is very soft which I love. Looks at address is perfect. It is 460 cc but it hides it very well. It's rather compact. I had the same head in 9° and it was really low launching. I had trouble getting it up in the air. But my SS is around 98 mph. The 10° head on the other hand is much easier to handle for me. Had the longest drives of my life with this beauty. I guess you would have to specify a little what you are looking for in a driver. But I guess you can't really go wrong with either brand.
