  1. Bump for an honest seller. Get tired of the pump and dump! Don't worry the 388 will move on it own. I am a 435 user as well and it is a cannon.
  2. Sorry to hear your story as well. I think there is something to this. Too many stories that sound the same. I get the carbon count changes things in terms of heat. Live and learn I guess. If I ever purchase another crazy it will be new with warranty but I really do not see that happening. Can't wait to try a few other GD shafts to see how the 435 will perform
  3. Well this has been a wild ride. After searching my heart and my budget I am heading a different direction. Out of respect for this site I will not say anymore about Crazy shafts. It was a bad deal for me but it will be ok. First let me thank everyone for your feedback. It has been very much appreciated. Chiromikey is always cool to me, I also want to thank Vince and Chris. Chris tried to help me out with another Crazy shaft. I appreciate it. BIG thanks go to the guy tht I purchased it from (Spoon) or Carlo. Carlo has been so cool about this. I assured him that I have no hard feelings towards him. I purchased it used and it did not work out. Again I will not comment any further on my views. Carlo is helping me out and I should have a new shaft for the Bad boy 435 Jbeam in a week or so. Carlo thank you for being such a stand up guy. I was amazed that you cared enough to reach out and try to help. My new shaft will be a Graphite design Blue Bullet. great reviews and a little lower launch than the AD DI. I also plan to try an AD DI in 7 stiff as well. This is such a low launch head that I dont know which will work best. These are quality shafts and I know they will give me great results. They were my first pick before I stumbled across the Labomba in white. Thanks be to all. I hope I did not offend this site as I know Crazy is a strong brand for them.
  4. It was my first experiment with a Crazy shaft other than the Proto 531. I really did not care for the glassy feel but it was giving me such good distance that I was not about to experiment. Right now the Miyazaki White is my next try. It gets great reviews and is a real bargain at $250
  5. Mob, I understand your point about that. This was a great combo for me BUT I have not tried any other shaft in this head. Truth is I played last night with a borrowed Ping Anser 9.5 with an Ahina 70 stiff. It was my home course so I know where the Jbeam was stopping. On several drives the ping was only 10 yards or so short of the Jbeam. Now I want those 10 yards back and the Jbeam could be more than 10 yards as our fairways where finally quicker than they have been all season ( more roll). But I am not convinced that an Oban Kiyoshi, Fubuki K or a Miyazaki Kusala white would not yield the same distance. In terms of feel I could care less because the Crazy was not the best feeling in this head either. I am just not sold that the Crazy shaft is yielding more distance in this head than any other top brand at a third of its price. if I could get a great deal on a new Crazy with a warranty then I would have to consider that but we all know $650 to $700 is my reality and that is just too much to invest in this driver. Now 2 months from now if I am flipping shaft after shaft then I will concede that the Crazy was the way to go. I got to believe that if Tiger,Rory or Phil did not buy into the quality of GD,Fubuki etc then they would have another shaft in their club.
  6. I would like to try another crazy but I am having a hard time justifying the expense. There are so many great shafts out there for less than half of the Crazy brand. I love this head but I want to be certain about my next move. I definitely will not buy another used Crazy with no warranty. No way.
  7. Chris, How does the boron profile compare to the labomba ly03 7.2 flex that I had? Thank you in advance for the effort.
  8. So this shaft was only pulled wants before I got it. I had it installed into my Jbeam 435 Where it stayed until it shattered. There was no way I was going to pull the shaft because the combo was killer for me.
  9. Warren thanks for the reply. Believe me I am at war inside as to what I should do next. I have another driver I plan to game for a while to give me some time to think about things. There is one dealer online that has the Quadra Wbq for $447. Not cheap but I have heard great things about this combo from Chiromikey.
  10. Thanks for all the info. I guess for me the bottom line is this was a killer combo for me. I am bummed out big time. I want to keep the 435 but I am very skeptical about trying another crazy on the used market. I rarely buy anything new. I guess I will go back to other makers that have been good to me in past. Oban Kiyoshi and Fubuki k have been solid so I guess that's where I am headed. This has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I have tried other shafts that have been pulled numerous times and never had this problem. Not worth the risk to try another crazy at retail or used.
  11. Spoon it shattered. Shaft is still in the head but it was like a tiny bomb went off inside
  12. Your telling me one pull by former owner and then installed into my 435 should cause this. Sorry don't agree. 2 or 3 pulls I could see the tip section weakening but not 1 pull. I have tried many other shafts and this is a first. No way this should be even remotely normal for a $725 shaft.
  13. Pic added to post. Unreal. I have never had this happen.
  14. I bought it from a fellow Tsg member who has nice gear. If you saw the shaft it is splintered almost 8 or 9 inches long. I have never had a shaft to do this
  15. Such a shame, killer combo for me. Now I am shaft hunting
  16. Well if their tips are that weak then I am done. Never had that trouble with other brands. I am a 6 handicap so it's not like I live on the heel of my driver.
  17. Figures. Last $725 shaft I will buy. Club was not abused. Just normal use. A 1 time pull should not be that weak in the tip
  18. Please move this to discussion area. Sorry
  19. I purchased this from another member on this site today it's snapped or really cracked at the bottom. Please tell me there is a warranty on this thing
  20. I currently have the best driver combo ever. The shaft is a Crazy labomba Ly. I purchased it used For $350. It has been worth every penny. Would I give $750 retail for it. I am really not sure. This combo cost me $750. Worth it but at retail it would be $1600. Can't justify that even though it is the longest ever for me.
  21. Forgive my club Ho snobbery but $1000 and the word Aldila do not go together. Take a zero away and yes I can see that. This may in fact be a killer shaft but it will be hard to convince people that Aldila has taken such a huge step. $1000 is a huge leap.
  22. until proven otherwise the Jbeam 435 is the distance king!

Ahhhh! It is killing me to let the white head go. The craftsmanship makes TM look sad. The specs are very close. I am concerned because I have heard tales of guys switching out heads and then going back to the original setup and it is never the same. If I knew for an instant that the White head would work just as well or better it would be a no-brainer. These heads are fantastic in my opinion. I would love to keep them both but my wife has hit her limit with my spending.

What a beautiful club. I hoped to gain a little more launch with this combo but my Labomba with the black 435 is better for me. I really wanted to try the LaBomba with this white head But I cannot separate my current driver combo. I am afraid I will mess up a good thing. This club feels good to me and has a lower launch than my other combo. A black head cover is included with the 4 weight kit as well. Sorry but the white headcover is staying with me. Priced to move quick at $595 using Paypal gift. These heads are the longest I have ever seen. Head is almost mint as is the shaft. Club measures just over 45 inches.
  25. The white 435 has arrived. What a looker. Now I need the seller of the shaft to get in gear and ship it so I can put this bad boy together. Side note - played 9 holes and had 2 more 300 yard plus bombs.
