Current lowest spinning shaft in golf
The motore tour spec 6.2 or 7.2 is unreal. For me the Miyazaki black was too low

Now you have me interested again. It is a cool looking shaft but even on the bay it is not cheap.

Gloire distance 2014 driver arrived! 36 hole Update!!
Bill, Thanks I a torn right now. After reading reviews of the GD mt6 I don't think it's my shaft. Reviews state that it is not as smooth as the ADDI. Just don't care for the feel of the ADDI.

Gloire distance 2014 driver arrived! 36 hole Update!!
Idrive how much do you believe in the GD MT6?? I do not like the ADDI in terms of feel. Just feels stiff and board like to me. Very consistent but not for me.

SLDR 430 Japan feedback
I think i will stay with my 2014 Gloire. If they make a head that is longer and more forgiving then I would be amazed. I still can't believe that I hit 12 of 12 fairways with a borrowed ADDI that I really did not like in terms of feel.

Gloire distance 2014 driver arrived! 36 hole Update!!
I have a project X 6a3 and a Bassara Hawk 53 that will get a test run first. I love the Bassara in the Cally so it may be a keeper. I am thinking about getting the real Gloire adaptors instead of the R1.

It has such a different feel. Can't quite describe it. I have a club crush I think.

Gloire distance 2014 driver arrived! 36 hole Update!!
Ok it was cold and windy. 37 degrees with old, cold range balls. So the good - stunning head. Very solid and classy. Coolest face that I have seen. You can tell that the club is well made. The feel is different than anything I have hit. Fairly soft but lively even with bad balls. I really like the look, feel and sound. I hate the length at 46.5 inches. Too long. It does not feel as light as I would have thought. The shaft has a nice feel but just not my pick. I see a Bassara griffin or Fubuki alpha In my future. The shocker is the forgiveness and the size of the sweet spot. Huge. I made more than one bad swing and they were still playable. I can't attest to the distance. It was cold and getting dark. Most of the balls could not be seen when they did land. At 9.5 it was not launching super high. Still I really want to try a better shaft soon. I have to be careful here, I want this club to be my gamer. Super cool club in every way. I will post more after a few more shaft tests.

Gloire distance 2014 driver arrived! 36 hole Update!!
I will be heading to the range after work. 38* not withstanding. I cant wait to hit this club. It is very light at 283 grams total. The shaft is very whippy so I know it will not work long term. The length is not as bad at address as I suspected. I think a low launch, low spin shaft is definitely in my future. I also see that I can change the head weight plug to 10 grams to give it a little more feel. I will report back to anyone who may be interested. I bomb my tour issue razr hawk so it will be interesting to see if this one can knock it out of my bag. Like so many I said I was done with JDM after a crazy shaft imploded on me but this driver caught my eye like no other has. Man it is a looker. Played 36 holes today It did not take long for me to realize the stock shaft will not work. Don't get me wrong it is not a bad shaft for 100 mph or less in swing speed. But when I really went after it it was not stable for me. The length of the driver really does not bother me just the shaft profile. My playing partner has a ADDI six stiff that he let me try with this head. It is much more stable but the launch was too low. I definitely can go after it with the ADDI but it is not the right choice for me. I cranked the loft up to 11* and the launch was much better with the GD. Still it is not what I want for this head. Now here is my 36 hole review.............. My swing was solid today so it was a great day to judge this driver's performance. I did hit a lot of Fairways today. I had 1 snapper with the stock shaft and 1 other fade that was over cooked (my fault) . Other than that 85% of my drives were in the fairway or just off the fairway. This club is silly in terms of forgiveness whether it is a toe or heel shot on bad swings. The face of the club is so consistent that often I could not tell where I was hitting it on the face on off swings. For me this is hands down the most forgiving club that I have ever hit. With the more stable ADDI I hit 12 of 12 fairways. Distance - I was getting just as much distance from this club as I have from any other. The Jbeam 435 is just as long but nowhere near as forgiving. The Gloire is not longer than my tour issue Razr Hawk but in terms of forgiveness it is NO contest. So at this point I cannot say that this club is longer than the longest JDM club but I believe with the right shaft that it will be as long as any out there. Again so far the forgiveness has been a big surprise. It is also very workable. It is not a straight driver only. Feel - All I can say is it feels better to me than any driver that I have hit. Please keep in mind that I have owned about six different JDM brands. I was blown away at how good the club feels even on the heel or the extreme toe. Bottom line- I must find the shaft that fits my swing for this head because it is a keeper. What a club. I officially have a man crush on this model. Now to figure out which shaft I need for my swing.

Taylormade Gloire Distance Driver 2014 model
Well I pulled the trigger on a slightly used Gloire today. man this driver is beautiful in appearance. I sure hope it is a bomber. I am concerned about the stock shaft but maybe I can pick up a quality high launch low spin shaft if needed. The price was worth a shot. if you see it on the BST soon it will probably be due to the stock shaft and my inability to purchase a high quality replacement. Looking forward to trying this one out. There will be tape on the top for sure :-)

Taylormade Gloire Distance Driver 2014 model
I absolutely love the look of this driver. Man I would love to hit one. I must say that I am surprised that it does not have a high quality shaft in it or at least as an option without more cash. Kind of a downer in that regard. Love the look of the head.

Ryoma D-1 V-Spec 9.5* with Crazy CB-80LS Noir 6.9
You know what is strange to me??? Less than a year ago the Ryo with crazy shaft would sell in a minute for $900 to $950. I tried one out and when I knew it was not for me it only took a few hours to resale at break even. Funny how quickly golf gear can plunge in value.

New GD BB shaft in 6s for stiff. Got this to try in my 435 but it is reported to be a low launch shaft so there is no point in testing it for my SS. $245 shipped anywhere

I thought we were not allowed to comment on our pricing on the board. Maybe that is Golfwrx I am thinking of. Either way we all figure out what is realistic quickly when no one is interested.

No the white is gone and I regret selling it but the black 435 is still my gamer. I am waiting on a shaft as we speak. I miss my Jbeam.
