  1. It used to be 115+ and i can get there still if i reaaaally really go for it.... But I'm 45 now and my lower back tells me not to swing that hard. :) I'm also trying to swing smoother for consistency. Brute force swinging days are over.
  2. Actually very smooth not stout. Had it in a AF102 8.5 deg for a while and had no issues with it. mid trajectory and very nice stability. If this was a Stiff flex, I would not let this go. I am realizing this shaft is a bit much for my current swing speed. ( yup it's gotten slower . recently )
  3. Heads sold.
  4. I bought the Tourstages wanting the Stinger shafts that came with it. I doubt you will find a better deal on these heads!! And these heads play so nice! Last generation of the non-adjustable hosel Tourstage Xdrive series.
  5. No fair!! There's no way I would know even if you played 10 rounds with it.. You got a professional club refinisher on your side
  6. FEx Prototype is sold!!
  7. Just sent my head out today to Tom. Should get it back sometime next week. Will post pics when I get it. I am not going for anything fancy. Just want a classic gloss black. Together with the black sole, face and now crown, it is going to be a completely blacked out head! Oh and my Diamana Stinger shaft is pretty much all black as well. Can't wait to put it together!
  8. FEx Proto pending payment
  9. Big Price drop! Get them before I change my mind!! :)
  10. Actually the feel of these heads are quite nice in my opinion. DAT55 face provides a very springy yet soft feel at impact. Sound may not be the best. but the CRZ I had was not bad at all. Seems to make some difference on sound depending on how tightly you tighten down those weight screws. Many times, the rubber O-ring on the weight screws could be worn out or completely gone in which case you may end up with a higher pitched tinny sound. Similar O-rings can be found at a local ACE hardware store for next to nothing.
  11. Last 10 days, I have been tinkering with my drivers to get dialed in for the season. - CRZ435 10deg head was really good with the Waccine Compo GR88 shaft, but was not getting me my usual distance and it was going a bit high for my liking. - Swapped the head with AF102 8.5deg, club feels too heavy at 339g. Still not getting the distance. Good control when hit right but consistency suffered. Conclusion: I think these 80g shafts are just too heavy for me. must be getting old... Need to go with a lighter shaft. - X-Drive 705 9.5deg with GR-50S - Very easy to swing. shaft feels a bit too light. Also getting too much launch angle. lacking consistency possibly due to light weight. - Went back to AF102 8.5 head but this time with Diamana Stinger shaft - weight feels right; but this time, there is problem with trajectory being too low occasionally not getting enough carry. Conslusion: Really stumped. Just for the sake of trying something different, I tried the Titleist 913 demo drivers at the Pro Shop. Super easy to hit. Very consistent. 913D2 8.5deg D1hosel setting / Aldila RIP Alpha 60 S looks to be my set up. Hated the looks , Hated the sound even more. Do I really want these in my bag? Probably not .... I wish the new Ryoma Maxima was out... Won't be available for a little while longer... Hmm.. Now what?? Yesterday: - Decided to give the Baldo VT511 9deg one more try. What the heck.... put the Diamana Stinger in it. Cons: White paint is kinda ugly and gets dirty really quick, need to do something about it. Get it painted gloss black. Pros: Perfect trajectory. Great Distance, Really really forgiving, Super soft feeling at impact, Perfect sound ( not dead ), Nice pear shape Other than the white paint, this is as close to perfect of a driver for me. Not sure why I didn't get the same sense on the first try a month ago. For those who did not quite get a perfect match with the T.388, this is a head you might want to try provided that you are okay with the white paint. So here it is ( well at least for now. ) Head: Baldo TT prototype VT511 9deg , 197g , 0deg FA Shaft: Diamana Stinger 70S 45" Overall Length 313g Overall Weight D1 Swing Weight Need to get the head painted black. Any recommendations on high quality head painting service in the U.S?
  12. In Japan, they used to sell the Crazy TJ46 along with the CRZ435 heads. Supposedly a tried and true combo that produced some amazing stats. Have fun choosing the shaft!
  13. CRZ435 head and Waccine Compo GR-50 shaft are sold.
  14. Thanks for all the offers. Pending payment!!
  15. No way i can handle that beast!!
  16. Not quite new but I would definitely say it is in excellent condition. !!
  17. Stew-san, You wouldn't happen to have a VSpec Ryoma D-1 in 8.5*, would ya? Really struggling with my driver lately and need to find a super forgiving head. I have tried the new Titleist 913 and, gosh, if it didn't sound so bad and look... well so big, I might actually use it.
  18. Crazy CRZ435 10 deg loft, 203g, Square to slightly closed face . Comes with headcover SOLD. shipped in CONUS PP gifted.
  19. Hi guys. I decided on playing one set of irons this season. Don't want to let this one sit to collect dust. These are a really nice set of irons. These are fabulous heads. 8 Iron looks to have most wear. wouldn't call it as much as "Browning" but some may say it is. 5 iron = 37.75" Standard Lie Loft and Length PM me for additional information. 21. Stiff ORAs straight in feel about as firm as the soft stepped 130 Stiffs. I would not dare get near extra stiffs with the 130s. I know many have gone up a flex with the Modus 120 and previous Nippon models, but the 130s are a different animal. According to my fitter, the overall stiffness on a 130 S flex was equivalent to a DG X100 - soft stepped once.
  22. Their explanation about the flatter trajectory and more roll is so intriguing.
