  2. Wow, 376!! I need that paintjob on my driver!:-) I had a head painted by him earlier this year. His work is top notch!! I mean "Perfect" quality and worksmanship.
  3. Alright, last call for these items. Any takers at this ridiculous price? $225 net to me for the Mizuno head $225 net to me for the Labospec fairway
  4. Need to move these. Reduced to $250 for the Mizuno head and $250 for the Labosec
  5. It is one heck of a fairway. ball feels hot off the face. As much as I wanted to keep this in my bag, I went back to my 910F 4 wood... I just hit it better somehow. I assume not many of these will make the BST.

Have a kaili 80 43.5 untipped driver length that i would let go at the right price. also have a speeder vc8.0 43.5 untipped as well. Both in excellent condition.
  8. Vt811 is the 460cc version and only comes in black so far. Vt511 is the 430cc in white, but they did just come out with the night edition of 511 as well.
  9. That is going to be one potent driver!
  10. Great review!! I have tried Max WBQ 75, Basileus Z 70 and now trying Diamana Kai'li 80 in this head. I am really liking this head. I am ordering a couple more shaft sleeves to try even more shafts. Also getting an 8g weight to try a shorter set up as well. Stock head weight at 197g is a bit light for me.
  11. I got one with an NS Pro FW steel shaft.... After the first range session, I went ahead and re-shafted with a Rombax Proto 80B. I like the lower trajectory it is producing. Like Tario says, it feels hot and crisp off the face. Overall it is a good fairway wood. Very workable.
  12. I am interested in knowing this as well. Only issue I had with the 2nd gen and HD eggs were the sound. It had sort of a hollow sound. If the sound and feel are anything like the RC Proto fwy I just got, then I am in for a 16.5 deg. So Fubuki's are the only custom option? or can we order with other custom shaft choices?
  13. Happy Birthday, Tario!!
  14. http://www.prgr-golf.com/product/putter/silver-blade-hb.html PRGR Silver Blade heavier balanced putter. Stainless body with Aluminium face. They even have a center shafted mallet!! Might need to give it a try...
  15. That's an interesting looking putter. what kind is it? I wish I could be better at toe balanced putters.
  16. Thanks for the info Kevin. Just picked up a used x2 on the bay. Always liked the 3 dot seemore alignment. can't wait to try her out!
  17. Have been thinking about getting one of those Scotty Red X2 Lawsuit putters and sending it in to Gold's for mods. Anyone have experience with the Red X2 with the GSS insert?
  18. Yamaha V203 9* Head Only and Diamana B 70 X added
  19. Price Lowered .... AGAIN !!

Yup, I was just thinking about that. Though sadly the Maxima did not work so well even with the WBQ. I feel that this WBQ shaft is one of the most neutral behaving shafts out there. It has no weird behavior at all. What you do as the operator, is reflected in the result. Regarding the flex, I agree that it seems to cover a very wide range of SS. My first WBQ was a 65 Stiff and I had no issues swinging at 110. I now use a 75 SX in the P-Tune and 65 X in the Tourstage and they both seem to work well with my SS. The original Fire Express is an excellent shaft as well, and then came the Proto which I think they over did some stuff. ( made it a bit twitchy ) Then with WBQ, they dialed it in just right. I might need to get another for the Yamaha... They also recently released an FW shaft with the same color scheme called the Type D . Not sure of the characteristics, but as a Fire Express fanatic, I should try it out,

Sure. I'll get some comparo pics tonight. BTW, I hit the X drive 709 / WBQ Combo today and this thing is a monster. Not really a workable driver like the P-Tune but it goes straight and long. Such an automatic driver!! I am seriously considering putting it in play for the local tournament this weekend. Yamaha V203 / Diamana B still launches way too low for me. I guess that is just how it is. Every driver I have ever hit, I always needed the lowest loft available. EXCEPT for Yamaha Tour drivers. Tried a 4.6V RPM in 9* earlier this summer and now the V203 in 9* These heads are such low launching. I really do love the shape as well as feel and sound of the 203, so I think I will be giving up on the 9* to find a 10* deg head instead. Back to the P-Tune discussion :) I think this driver provides a perfect balance between distance and control. It is a 440cc semi shallow head. It is visually confidence inspiring and not intimidating. Launches fairly easy, feel and sound are close to being perfect. ( For me, V203 is the perfect driver from a shape, feel and sound perspective, I just can't hit it well :( ) For those of you looking for a players driver with good balance of forgiveness and workability, I highly recommend giving the P-Tune a try.

Akapur, welcome to the P-Tune Club! P-Tune is sitting tight in my bag now for close to 4 months. For me, that is the longest time a single driver held the ace position in recent years, I have a Yamaha V203 / Diamana B and a Tourstage 709 / FE MAX WBQ that I am testing out tomorrow. I am pretty confident at this point that P-Tune will be staying in the bag for the local tournament this weekend, but we shall see. On the longer term I do need a back up driver ... so if these two don't work out, I may just end up ordering another PG313!!
