  1. He can show it to you ... but you'll have to buy the set then!! LOL GLWS!
  2. Hopefully she can quickly run up the ranks in Japan and save the JLPGA tour from the "outsiders" then eventually make her way out to the global stage and go face to face with Aria and Brooke!!
  3. Yes the new driver is exciting !! But check out Rookie Erika Hara's swing. She has been an apprentice to Jumbo Ozaki. Best swing by a lady pro in my opinion!!
  4. Nice pics and thanks for sharing!! No doubt Seven SM490A putters are among the top of the crop of JDM putters!!
  5. Glad to hear the MP Craft is working out for you. The MP Craft 513 in 9.5P loft may suit you as well. 9.5P was the forward weighted low spin version. Another awesome Mizzy driver that I’d recommend to power hitters. Not as forgiving as the 2014 MP Craft you have but perhaps even better feel. You would also do well with the MP Type 1 as well. They are all SP700 faced heads!! The Romaro ‘17 Type R is a shallower head than I originally thought. I hit it more straighter than the other three drivers. While shallower profile, launch is not that high. Which is what I like. Modart MA01D+R is one of those drivers that have a higher loft than the stated especially on the higher part of the face. The middle of the face is true to the stated loft. For a deeper profile head, it launches pretty high.

I've tried only one Scotty in my entire life and it was the Red X2 GSS insert mallet. It was the one where the three alignment dots "a la Seemore" was patent infringing or something so this putter was also called the "lawsuit putter." My reason for not owning a Scotty since then is that they are far too common here in the US next to Odyssey, Taylormade and Ping putters. Not saying they are bad... I just see so many on the course, so it doesn't feel so special. If I had that kind of budget for a putter, I'd have Benock design and make a one off from scratch.
  7. Was a big fan of the NS Pro WVs but they discontinued it. When I tried to gets a few earlier this year they said "no more stock remaining." So I've been using Modus Wedge shafts which are smoother feeling than the WVs and still work very well. The negative is that the smoothness especially when used in full swing shots translates in to a bit of a looser feel. WVs felt a bit tighter overall. (some may call it "harsher") Then last week, I was able to pick up some "WV125 TOUR ONLY" shafts that have Modus graphics but supposedly feel and perform more like the WV series according to NS Pro customer service! I'll report back on how they work. I usually use a 52 & 58 wedge combo but I also have a 64 deg Seven wedge in one of my sets. I've previously had Modus 105 Wedge in the 52/58 and for the 64 had a normal Modus 105 in R flex and I actually thought it worked very well. I never need a full swing shot with the 64 and the softer flex definitely provides more feel with the smaller chips. As far as weight goes, I try to keep the wedge shafts in similar weight range as the irons. For the majority of the last two years, during my recovery from a serious hand injury, I have been using 100 to 110g iron shafts and had Modus 105 in the wedges. Earlier this year, I have gone back to Modus 120 and 125 in my irons. Wedges have Modus 115 and 125 at the moment. I actually enjoy them both but prefer the heft and the solid feel at impact in the 125 a bit more than the 115.
  8. Basi AAA and KK Proto are sold!!
  9. Thanks guys!! Appreciate the kind words!!

  14. This is not GolfWRX classified.. No I do not have 80TX tipped 2 inches pulled from my Tour Issue M3 440 My driver shafts are nice and long and in most cases are 60g weight range in Stiff flex. i.e. something that real human can handle!! My fairway shafts here are mixed but a couple in the 80g series also in Stiff flex. It's gotten a bit heavy for me. The conditions are very good. I pull my shafts using a hydraulic shaft puller so I only need to apply minimum heat. I may entertain certain offers but please look up retail prices first and be reasonable. My prices are generally well below 50% of original retail. Unreasonable request for ridiculous discounts will not be responded to. I'll just ignore them. Please feel free to reach out to me if you would like more info on a particular shaft! Prices are PP net to me includes shipping within US. International shipping is actual cost minus $15. Happy to combine shipping for multiple items. Basileus AAA 2015 60 Stiff 44.375" 9/10 Condition $350 SOLD!! 15. I picked up a couple of SP700 faced driver heads recently. Romaro Type R 2017 9.5 and a Callaway Epic Forged 9.5. I've put my Seven Dreamers in the Type R. Waiting on a Speeder TR 661 shaft for the Epic Forged. I tried both heads already with random shafts already to see how they sound and feel. Well, I have to say, it scored very well in my taste test. The Romaro has some type of sound/harmonics optimization built in and the sound is very pleasing that makes you want to hit more and more balls. The head is highly forgiving ( perhaps Grandista LS-001 level forgiveness ). For a 9.5 I think the trajectory is true to loft or perhaps a bit lower. I am hitting it more consistently than the other SP700 drivers I have. Not the longest driver but it'll be easy to keep the ball on the fairway for sure. Epic forged had a less muted sound but still can be considered very pleasing for sure. Perhaps because of the Jailbreak Technology, I felt that I was getting more carry than the Romaro. This one too has a trajectory that is true to loft. Looking forward to hitting it more with the Speeder TR shaft. With my SP700 collection I'd use them in this way: 1. Grandista RS-D 9 deg / Diamond Speeder -> Low Launch / Mid to low spin Best on Summer conditions with fast fairways. Very long total distance. Wider fairways on courses that you are familiar with would be referred 2. Modart MA01D+R 8.5 deg / Diamana W -> Mid Launch / Mid to low spin I'd use this in wet conditions during the winter months. Max carry and very good forgiveness. 3. Romaro Ray Type R 9.5 deg / Seven Dreamers -> Mid launch Mid spin Shines on narrow courses that may not require big distances so much. Most forgiving out of the bunch. I'd take this on a first visit to a new course in any type of condition. Easy swing will keep it on the fairway. 4. Epic Forged 9.5 deg / Speeder TR I'm hoping this can become an all rounder with good distance and good forgiveness.
  16. More and more drivers are becoming internally draw biased, opening the face angle is really the only thing that they can do to make it usable by players who have tendencies to draw or hook the ball. Grandista RS-D is exactly that and similarly the PRGR RS The dilemma is that most people do not like closed face looking drivers but many have a hard time squaring the face at impact. In most cases, they tend to leave the face open especially with the larger modern drivers with longer CG distance. It's the same argument to the offset in irons. Most players would benefit from having some offset in their irons for a more square impact , yet everyone wants less offset for looks. Hope your new Bullet works as good or even better than your 435 combo!! One thing I noticed with newer JBeam heads is that they really improved the sound. I only tried the Galpha but it was night and day compared to the 435. Much softer sound and feel off the face with the Galpha.
  17. Ha ha ha!! Still have two fabulous heads!!
  18. One time price reduction. Will start posting to the auction site this coming weekend.
  19. Someone grab those SDJs!! they are very soft feeling and make the ball spin like crazy,
  20. I never hit driver off the deck.... too hard to get it right!!
  21. I've used many different scratch removers but this one works the best. http://www.quixx-usa.com/ May need to be very careful with carbon crown heads.
  22. Thanks!! I do take care of my equipment better than how I take care of my car!! ? I just don't enjoy seeing crappy looking clubs in my bag while playing.
  23. Been a while since I posted something for sale. I was experimenting on some driver heads and for now settled on a couple that I like. These excellent heads unfortunately did not pass my taste test. Strictly a personal preference thing. Performance wise, I'd play any of these in my Saturday Men's club outings really. Prices are firm at this point. No more discounting! 1. Jean Baptiste JB 501 Evo Low 9.5deg head only 460cc 9.5 loft , 198g , face angle looks square 9/10 condition This head is very very high end. While made by Kamui Works , the technology used in this head is unique to JB. This JB501 is the Second version which they tweaked the face design based on their monster fairway wood. Retails for 100,000 yen new Comes with a very nice Soft Italian Leather headcover $375 PP net to me +actual shipping cost aywhere in the world. 2. PRGR Tune 02 9.5deg head only 460cc 9.5 loft . 198g , face angle looks open 9/10 condition I really like the shape on this one. Probably on the shallow side but not too big. Really forgiving and goes long. While it has an open face, the ball hits straight. This is the RS equivalent of the RS series. ( not RS-F) Original head cover in mint condition. $200 PP net to me +actual shipping cost aywhere in the world. GONE 3. Bridgestone J015CB Irons 4-PW heads only Endo forged S20C. This back cavity design I believe was the base for the Tour B X-CB irons. These are players cavity back irons, Very sleek at address with thin top line and small offset. Black chrome make the heads appear even smaller. I used this for about 8 months after buying it from another member. there are some chatter marks and a small dent on the 8i leading edge but after I acquired them I had headcovers on them.. No browning on the face but the dark chrome is starting to fade on the face and the sole. Used but not abused. Tons of life left. $250 net to me +actual shipping cost aywhere in the world.
