Players CB is the sweet spot for me. Have played MBs a few times, but have come back to players CBs where I feel more at home. I am currently gaming Mizuno MP-62s I got mine copper plated and upgraded with Crazy STP shafts. That's how much I love them. Players CBs in my opinion must be compact, have narrow sole, have less offset. I would gladly play any of the following players CBs Mizuno MP-63 Bridgestone J36 CB Yonex NanoV Nextage Forged Tours Fourteen TC-888 Titleist CBs ( 710, 712, 714, 716 )

I know.... I might regret it down the road, but someoone who will use it should have it. Having too many putters just confuses me and I really need to spend more time using just 1 or 2 putters at the most. Plus, I am really happy with my GF mod IPT now. :)

I believe it is right at 350g or something close. I agree, the bumper lines are unique to this model. D, yes, you do need a back up! :)

Oh, this Yamada came direct from Yamada putters so guaranteed authentic .. none of that "Cupper" stuff !! :)

Sorry, but no trade interests at this time. Yamada Samurai Burning Copper handmilled series 35" - never used - Orange Grip master leather grip is still shrink wrapped These are getting very hard to find.
  9. Awesome! I do know that there was originally a silicone pad that was supposed to enhance feel. I was actualy wondering how Sasaya-san was going to replace that. The feel on this putter is out of this world!
  10. Both very nice sets!! Are you eyeing on your next Yoros?
  11. I don't think they do any polishing or prep work other than the painting surface. I prepped the face on the 3wd myself with plain old sand paper before I sent it on for painting.
  12. I really love how nice these came out! Highly recommended for those beloved but beat up clubs you intend on keeping.
  13. Just got these bad boys back from Djay in AZ. Nud Ghibli and an old Japan model Vsteel refinished with wood grain painting! These are my backup woods to be shafted with Kurokage Protos. Woohoo!
  14. Yes, I love how everything came out. Makes me think what I should fo with my other "stock" putters :) I thnk my next one might be getting a Black Boron finish on my Geo Galaxy. As for the Dogatti putter shaft, I think it is in a league of its own compared to other graphite putter shafts. Almost none of that hollowness you typically expect from graphite putter shafts.
  15. no face milling!? very cool! and I really like the simple design. would make a great base putter for additional mods! GLWS, C!
  16. The yellow part on the face kinda looks like it's woven with Kevlar.
  17. Totally drooling over those shafts!! :) GLWS!
  18. I got my putter back from Gold's today and rolled a few on the carpet. First Impression, Wow! marshmallow soft!! The feel is now equivalent or even softer than an Epon Zen but without being mushy. This has to be one of the softest feeling putters I have ever tried. Overall finish is spectacular. Soft black finish makes it look very very high end!! As for the Dogatti shaft, it feels very much like a heavy steel shaft but a bit more livlier. I do like the matte black finish on the shaft as well. The Muziik faux leather pistol style grip feels really nice, but I think it is a bit too thin for me. Will probably replace with either an Iomic Absolute (older version) grip or a Win Pro X 1.18
  19. Hmmm interesting. they actually explain about the "CP" thing on the hosel in the custom order section of their website but they don't actually have anything you can select in the page. Perhaps an in shop only option.
  20. Have not been able to pin down to official announcements by Mizuno , but apparently they have a special edition MP5 with Copper underlay. The set also comes with a special edition Modus 125 System 3 that has a dark chrome finish on the butt half of the shaft. This special edition is identified by a "CP" laser etching on the hosel. There are a couple of these on the Japanese auction site , one marked as "pre- release sale." Not sure if these are official Mizuno lineup products or if a custom boutique perhaps did a limited custom run. Either way, I do like the thought of an even softer feeling Mizuno Grain Flow Forged iron! I hope Mizuno starts offering copper underlay option for their Yoro custom order clubs as well!

Probably an older putter shaft from NS Pro. They weigh around 120g actually does not feel bad . but I like the looks of the current NS heavy shafts.
  22. It's the new Muziik / Dogatti graphite shaft. Tungsten powder infused CF sheets .... we'll see how it goes!! What I really want to get a hold of is a Diamana Prototype putter shaft. Yuta Ikeda used it for a while but watching the Japan Open the other day, looks like he went back to steel... Very rare and hard to come by...
  23. Good catch, D !! "German Silver"... honestly don't really know the composition, but I do know it does not include actual silver. :) It was used on another GF mod putter that I previously owned and regret selling to this day! very soft feeling mateial.
  24. Yea, the milling across the face was the recommendation I got and so I went with it Next Gen PZ milling was also an option but decided to go with the horizontal PZ milling since I already have other putters with NextGen PZ milling like face. This would be a good addition to my small fleet of putters.
