Anyone try the new Epon Person wedges?
Looks simple and beautiful It is interesting that they chose DG X100 as the standard shaft offering.

I didn't even try it. it came in a buchi driving iron i got used. looking up specs, this is a 3 iron shaft x flex with high kick point. 2.1 torque. Would be too much for me. Maybe a good fit for you?

New OT75 and OT105 Shafts Coming by Mitsubishi
One more thing I noticed last week. Be careful when handling the stripped tip section as splintered fiber can be exposed due to the braided fiber construction.

New OT75 and OT105 Shafts Coming by Mitsubishi
I don't think this shaft has enough parallel section to allow for hard stepping on the pw to sw. read my previous post.

TourSpecGolfers Main Gamer: ZY-11 + Seven Dreamers L01
Playing in a high elevation location, I have found that low spin heads combined with low spin shafts produce drop balls for me. possibly also due to thinner air. I've tried the ZY-11 9 deg combined with AAA 2015 this past season and it was just too low spin for me. I guess I could have tried a higher spin, higher launching shaft.. but instead I went for a different head and also got fitted for a 7D shaft. Grandista 9deg with 7D is what I got.. I think I am getting around 12 to 13 deg launch angle with this combo. No drop balls. The combo produces enough spin to keep the ball moving forward. I'd call this a mid spin head. I should probably try a higher spinning ball to see if I can get the launch angle slightly higher for more carry.

New OT75 and OT105 Shafts Coming by Mitsubishi
I am about the same SS with Driver and have used the oti 95 S flex. Unfortunately, felt it was a bit too flexy for me. Possibly was too light. In my opinion, I think you'd be okay with S flex. These are very smooth feeling shafts.

Belated Christmas present for the Golds Factory Moz
If you are okay with slimmer grips, the Muziik Micro Fiber Leather grip is a good looking grip. I have it on my Gold's mod Yamada. Initially thought it was too thin, but gotten used to it. the back stitches may be a deal breaker for some, but it doesn't bother me. http://www.muziik-golf.com/japan/mfpu.html

The new Star Wars was soooooooo good!
nobmontana posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearJust came home from watching the new Star Wars movie. I really think they did a good job bringing back the original cast and connecting the story. I was in tears of joy like three times during the movie! :) and I almost never cry watching movies. I thought the new cast were good too. Highly recommended!

why the light shafts?
New to the lightweight Iron shafts myself. I have settled with two graphite shafts I like and can still maintain control. Crazy STP Protos in 100g is very stable and feels solid and not hollow like alot of previous generation graphite iron shafts. I think they even come in 115g which is supposedly X flex. 100g is more or less SX flex. Have them currently in my Mizzy MP62s. Also in the process of replacing Mitsubishi OTi 95 with Crazy CBI-80 ( 104g raw ) in my Buchi VS200. Really stoked to put these irons in my bag for next season!

New OT75 and OT105 Shafts Coming by Mitsubishi
OTI comes in one length only. Standard tipping instructions can be found here: http://www.mitsubishirayongolf.com/catalog/jp/oti/files/assets/basic-html/page9.html For PW thru SW, it says to tip cut 3.5 inches and because the parallel section only goes 120mm ( 4.72 inch ) even with the standrard tipping, you will be left with 1.22 inches of insertion section after cutting it 3.5" ( 4.72 - 3.5 = 1.22" ) This might be a good question to ask MRC if you can tip additional for a stiffer install.

Seven Dreamers L01 Nishijin-ori Shaft
I still liked the Haute Couture fitting process better in that they tweaked the shaft design based on your individual swing data and not based on a collection of someone elses data. Having a shaft fitted specifically to your individual swing was what made 7D shafts special, I think. With this new series, do they still do in-studio fitting? or only thru questionnaires?

Need help with Fujikura/Muziik Bangvoo premium shaft
I think this is the right approach They claim 250cpm based on some pre-determined head weight and length. So if conditions change, you could have different CPM. Also, you probably want to make sure you end up with enough swing weight. If you focus too much on the CPM, you could end up with a super light swing weight in the "C" range, Nothing wrong with that if you like very light swing weight.

Anyone using Modus 105 iron shafts?

Dogatti PT shaft
Subsequent to having Gold's Factory install a Dogatti PT135 shaft in my Custom IPT putter a couple of months ago, I just got another one of these shafts for my Geo Galaxy blade. Pressed in the tip to the hosel just now ( not glued yet ) and rolled a ball with it to see how it felt... Wow!! This shaft makes my putters feel like magic!! Pronounced "dense feel with the edge rolled off" if that makes any sense. As pricey as they are, I think they're totally worth it. Not only does it improve the overall feel at impact, the extra stiffness adds stability to the stroke as well.
