here's a size comparo to MP62s. Quite similar really. More compact than a midsize but not too small.

Subsequent to having Gold's Factory install a Dogatti PT135 shaft in my Custom IPT putter a couple of months ago, I just got another one of these shafts for my Geo Galaxy blade. Pressed in the tip to the hosel just now ( not glued yet ) and rolled a ball with it to see how it felt... Wow!! This shaft makes my putters feel like magic!! Pronounced "dense feel with the edge rolled off" if that makes any sense. As pricey as they are, I think they're totally worth it. Not only does it improve the overall feel at impact, the extra stiffness adds stability to the stroke as well.

I also noticed they have an X flex. As I recall, the 120 series came out weaker to flex from a CPM perspective. many S flex users moved to X flex. Any need for similar adjustment for the 105?

I heard that this lightweight Modus shafts are gaining popularity in PGA. Is that actually true? Aside from the weight how does it compare to other Modus models? I've settled with graphite shafts in the same weight range for now, but I am interested in this one.

I only have experience with af301 but vs200 are easily more forgiving.

I had it for a little while earlier this year, one acquired thru a trade. Mine was from a proto batch as I understand it and had a higher weight at 370g or so... I think.. Overall very high quality SM490A putter with great attention to detail. The top line was a bit thicker for enhanced feel. If it weren't for the Gold's mod I did this year, I totally would have kept it.

58 has been my highest loft club forever. perhaps I need to learn how to use one of these. :)

Played AAA 2015 in my driver most of this past season. Had the Basi Z FW 75 a few month ago and currently a Beta FW 75 in my Grandista Fairway Feel wise, I think the Z FW has smoother feel probably due to the full length Boron they use. The Beta FW has more of that solid feeling similar to the AAA 2015. Bend profile on the Z FW and Beta FW both seem more tip stiff than the AAA '15 Alternately, you can just find a good used AAA '15 and tip cut it to use in a fairway. ( which I thought about doing as well )

ok... my shaft might be a bit short in that case. Typically, Hybrids of that loft are set up with 40" overall length.

I have one that I just pulled from my 21.5 deg Buchi driving iron Tour AD 105 S in lemon yellow !! :) Overall club length was about 39.5" What length are you looking for?

Why not grab that Seven putter on BST if it is still there? I don't think there are other SM490 putters out there with that level of quality.
