I am wondering how the internal pressure is affected when used in high altitude environments like I have here in Montana. The air inside the head is likely to expand and produce higher pressure ... Could end up with higer COR? Can the internal pressure be adjusted without special tools?

  3. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude , but you need to include a piece of paper with your name and date as a proof that you actually have the iten in your posession, as you can understand, digitally inserting text in digital photos does not serve this purpose. http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/topic/35331-new-bst-photo-rules-effective-aug-20th-2013/
  4. Older TM models were actually very good in my opinion. I'd say 2007 thru 2009 were TM's golden years. I thought I might be trying their M1 woods there for a while, but when I looked at it the shop, I immediately changed my mind. Not for me.
  5. White balance setting on camera was wrong. Reloading pics!!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!! Here's a nice set of woods for sale!! The set is a Driver, 3 wood and a bonus hybrid!! The custom wood grain paint ( Paint by DJay ) will most certainly catch your playing buddies' attention!! Shafts in the Driver and 3 Wood alone retail for over $300 a piece. Custom painting was another $100 each. Because of the matching paint and shafts in the Driver and 3W, I would really like to keep this as a packaged deal for now. Driver: Head: NUD Ghibli Knight 10.5 deg 198g (Conforming) Shaft: Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 2013 Proto TiNi 60 Stiff flex - Ion finish Length is just over 45" Swing weight is around D0 Head was custom painted to a gunmetal color wood grain pattern. Comes with original headcover in mint condition. Launches too high for my preference. and slightly draw biased I think. Anyone who has more of a slice problem would be able to appreciate this driver. 3 Wood: Head: 2008 JDM Taylormade V Steel 15deg 215g Shaft: Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 2013 Proto TiNi 70 Stiff flex - Ion finish Length is 43" Swing weight is around D3 Head was custom painted to a gunmetal color wood grain pattern just like the driver. Comes with original headcover... looks ugly but still does the job protecting the head. Absolutely loved this head. BONUS!! 3 Hybrid: Head: Taylormade Rescue TP 2007 19deg Shaft: Matrix HX3 White Tie 80g Stiff flex Length is 40.5" Swing weight is around D2 Same sole design as the above VSteel 3W. Head is in 8.5/10 cond. Crown is perfect. No headcover
  7. Getting into that heavier weight range, next should be putter shafts!!!
  8. If Matrix and other brands can make 130g graphite iron shafts, I am sure 7D can make them too. But with much higher quality!
  9. Actually have a KK XT80S coming my way. It's going in my grandista 16.5 3 wood. Hoping that Kurokage will bring down the flight a bit.
  10. So we should be seeing a few tip stiff / high end shafts on BST ? :) I am in need of a good fairway shaft. Great to hear you got excellent results from your 7D shaft!!
  11. Yes, in fact I used Sasaya-san's method to tip most of the parallel section off . It worked great.
  12. My guess is that you would get a more direct feel of the PZ milling. GSS Gold's + Dogatti = MM mm good!
  13. I still like the Dogatti the best out of the three graphites. Fire Express was still good but was flexier compared to the Dogatti and felt a bit hollower. Dogatti feels like really stiff solid steel bar. Diamana is as stiff as the Dogatti but perhaps not as solid feeling.
  14. If I rank the shafts themselves. It'll go like this: Feel: 1. NS Pro Heavy 2. Dogatti 3. Diamana 4. Fire Express Distance Control: 1. Dogatti 2. Diamana 3. Fire Express 4. NS Pro heavy
  15. Quick update. I put the Diamana Proto in my Gold's T102. Totally changed the feel compared to the Ns Pro Heavy shaft I had in it. The feel is now quite firm. Perhaps bordering "clicky" for some. Firmest of my three putters. Distance conrol has improved drastically!! Loving it! Gold's T102 / Diamana Proto - JIS SUS303 body - Tungsten weight on toe and heel of face - No milling flat face "Vintage Gold's" Yamada IPT Gold's Mod / Dogatti - Horizontal PZ Milling on Custom German Silver Insert - Carbon Steel Body "Softest feeling" Geo Galaxy / Dogatti - JIS SUS303 body - Deep milled face "Best all rounder"
  16. I thought all custom order finished Mizuno MP iirons were produced at their Yoro factory ..
  17. Super deals!! These won't last long! GLWS
  18. I agree that AAA 2015 came close to 7D from a performance (distance/dispersion) perspective but I think the 7D wins in the feel department by quite a bit.
  19. You know.. I have thought about that as well. Currently working to obtain a used Kuro kage XT80 we'll see if that brings down the trajectory some. Ian, you are a monster! 5W at 43.5inch or somewhere around there? I would love to try a Bangvoo, but those are harder to find.
  20. I can tell you that my craving to try all the other shafts in the world has subsided at least for my driver. I am still heavily searching and experimenting on fairway shafts. I am thinking about possibly going 7D for my FW shaft and just be done with it. Seems like a money saver in the long run since instead of trying 3 off the rack high end shafts for a total around $1500, I can be done with a single shaft for about the same price and I can stop worrying about "what's better out there?" Perhaps a better strategy for concentrating on scoring for a change! :)
  21. are you using the Type S or Type P ? Was really thinking about trying the Type P with this Grandista head but they are slightly too light. I wish they'd make heavier FW shafts. Even the highly praised Crazy FW80 is sub 70g. When the driver shaft is at 70g like mine is, I need to set up my fw with at least a 75g shaft.
  22. If there's another buyer who want the 5-PW , sure!!
  23. Lowered again!! May be interested in trades for boutique drivers and/or high end shafts.
  24. I am in the process of getting a 10g weight to get the head weight to 216g. The added weight may provide a different trajectory, It might even go higher.... :) Gonna try tipping the shaft a bit to see if it lowers the flight a bit. We'll see.
