Easy to align putter - what helped you?
One three putt per round is better than I'll ever be!! :) Started using TM Daddy Long Legs Plus just recently and I am no longer missing the rather short ones. ( inside 4 feet stuff ) Lag putts are also getting closer than it used to be. So my three putts are definitely decreasing.

Proper putter length in relation to club length.
+1 on the above. I have used 35" putters for a long time and then one day tried a 34" and thought I was stroking it much better. Then I switched recently to a 38" counterbalanced putter. ( Supposedly a 38" CB putter is equivalent to a 35" normal putter ) Required a bit of getting used to but as RLL says, whatever you feel most comfortable and you putt the best is what I think you should go with. The other day, I played with a guy who was like 6'8" and he had an Odyssey belly putter (probably 38") that he set up and used like a normal height person would use a 34" putter. he was putting very well with it.

Seven s15c Preliminary review.
Very interesting about the distance gain you are seeing. I recently got Buchi VS200 ( S15C ) wedges shafted with Modus Wedge 105. Modus Wedge 105 is definitely a lighter shaft compared to what I had in my previous wedge set ( TS X Wedge '13 ) . While not entirely sure what material was used for the Tourstage wedge, I imagine it is either S20C or S25C as with most forged wedges from Japan. Tourstages had WV115 shafts in them. Comparing the distance: Tourstage full shot 52 deg 100 yrd carry Buchi full shot 52 deg 120 yrd carry Tourstage full shot 58 deg 80 yrd carry Buchi full shot 58 deg 100 yrd carry As you can see, I am getting about 20 yards extra on my new wedges, would be really interesting to know why. It's hard to believe all that distance gain is coming from lighter shaft alone. I guess my question would be... Does softer Carbon Steel provide higher COR?

Using FireExpress 65S as 3-wood shaft
Oh one warning... be careful with the tipping because tipping basically changes the kick point relative to the head. which means that launch characteristics is likely to change with tipping. Just as an exaggerated example, a higher launch shaft could potentially behave more like a lower launching shaft with enough tipping. I always try to stay within the tipping guideline of the manufacturer.

Using FireExpress 65S as 3-wood shaft
"Tipping" refers to cutting the shaft at the "tip" end of the shaft as opposed to cutting at the "butt" end of the shaft. It is common to see driver shafts to be "tipped" 0.5 inches to be utilized in a 3 wood. and then 1.0 inches for 5 wood etc... This is mainly to compensate for the heavier head weight seen in fairway woods ( 210g + or so ) vs Drivers ( 195g + or so ) As far as using a driver shaft for a FW, there should be no issues as long as you are able to achieve the desired swing weight and flex ( cpm ) with it. Only down side is, of course, you cannot reuse that shaft in a driver once you cut it to FW length. ( stating the obvious :) ) Not that its the absolute correct way to do it, I like to put my shaft weights in progression thru my whole set. My current set goes like this. 70g Driver shaft 80g 3W shaft (tipped driver shaft) 90g Hybrid shafts 100g Iron shafts 105g Wedge shaft

Epon 901 vs 903
Are you guys talking about the same "903?" AF-903 and AF-903HYB are two different things. Yeah, I think Epon lost track of their product names. http://www.one2one.jp/epongolf/epon_main.html I have the 903HYB in 20 and 23 which are successor to the 902 . The 903 is the succesor to the 901 driving iron. The main reason I switched from 902 to the 903HYB is in fact due to the occasional hooks I got with the 902. With less offset, I can still hit draws with the 903HYB but no more nasty hooks. :-) and the forgiveness is still there.

Open Sesame!! Da Bad Sheep with Shades!
Good deal!! D, I think Swiiish has seen a spike in their order in the recent days. I know of several other TSG members who ordered these as well. If we all buy enough, they can come up with a revised version with even cooler design! I really do like the fact that they don't just slip off of the irons. The Club Gloves I had on MP33s used to come off all the time.... I'd have to walk back to the previous hole to go find it.... and so on. You know the drill! :)

Open Sesame!! Da Bad Sheep with Shades!
oh and the set actually included an L for Lob which I totally missed initially. So 4-P A,S,L based on size, not recommended for GI irons but I think most players irons would fit.

Open Sesame!! Da Bad Sheep with Shades!
Update on the Swiiish headcovers. Just got them today! First impression is that the covers are quite small compared to the Club Glove ( regular size ) neoprene covers. Buchi VS200 is not large rather a compact head so they fit nice and snug without the worry of slipping off too easily. However, the wedges seemed too tight. I can sorta get it on .... but I might have issues getting them off quickly during a round. Perhaps the elastic band will expand and loosen a bit over time. We'll see. Another thing I might point out is that the padding is not very thick. It may suffice for the purpose but I'd personally like to see something a bit more thick and plush. My biggest thing is durability. I think the covers need to last at least a few seasons. We'll see how durable they are. On the other hand, they do look pretty slick!

1. Royal Collection Proto 14* FW head only "demo" on the hosel. Crown is clean except for tiny paint roughness on the leading edge where crown meets the face. Sole and Face has marks from normal usage. No headcover. 2. Seven Kyuzo SM490A putter 34" : Got this thru a recent trade with a TSG member. While I love how it feels off the face, I don't think I will game this anytime soon. Someone who could game it should own it. One tiny tiny nick on the back edge which I can't seem to capture in pics unfortunately. SOLD 3. Diamana Ali'Islei 73 X-flex 42.25" Tried it with the Royal Collection FW above but was too stout for me. My 83 Stiff in my AF202 is a better fit for me. Getting harder to find!

Shaft loose in hosel upon installation... Please help
I've had that experience with Vokeys. I think their hosels are slightly larger than other standard .355" hosels. They end up slightly off centered due to how I cure the epoxy leaning the club against the wall. It's very slight ... so I don't worry about it too much.

JDM Hosel sizes
Driver and Woods: .335 generally but very occasionally still see .350 Hybrids still a mix between .355 and .370
