Driving iron v UT v FWd
question guys - for the driving irons, do we shaft it with longer ute shafts or iron shafts ? I presume if its for accuracy & iron like perf, it should be iron shafts correct ?

Driving iron v UT v FWd
thats not many driving irons out there. So which are good ones besides prgr & epon cited earlier ? also, do they come in stronger lofts ? thanks

Fujikura MCI in a Hybrid
makes sense now. Thks. I think i will try these mcis on the irons first before going down to wedges. Just feel the lack of wgt on wedges may put me off a bit

Let's compare ONOFF Forged 2013 vs Yamaha V-Forged 2013!
been playing the onoff couple of mths now - cant find a fault at all. Long & forgiving. I hv paired it with ctapers which was great, now trying out with pxi 6.0s. Next wnna put it on MCI 80s !!

Fujikura MCIs vs UST prototype recoils
whats ball flight like nci vs recoil protos ? Most of what i read, the recoils is higher than aeros.

The Trials with the Ryoma Maxima Type D
Thats my home course before, now i play in KL golf & country club. DB is short, 27 holes with the main combo being diamond / ruby. There only a few holes that has tip tees. The wind does blow out there as its a mountain course, 2-3 club diff sometimes. It hugs the hill on the left side, so if you're a push / slicer, its not good. Its tight, so 3w is preferred if you are a 250y hitter. Greens are almost always uphill. Par 3s are straight fwd & par 5/ are reachable in 2. Best time to play is nov-feb. mar-may foggy humid. Now its just plain hot & humid.

Fujikura MCI in a Hybrid
apols for silly question, but how do you set 8i length up into wedges ? Should it not be 9 ?

Fujikura MCIs vs UST prototype recoils

Fujikura MCIs vs UST prototype recoils
Wondering if anyone has played these 2 shafts & give a comparison. a bit of a range rat & my pxis / ctapers are hard on the elbows - so looking to switch Tthanks

Fujikura MCI
Looking for a lighter option, so maybe the 80S. Have you tried vs the ust prototype recoils ? These 2 seem to be in the premium range compared to steelfibers / recoil 670s.

Fujikura MCI
i play ctapers R+, pxi 6.0 currently - thinking of getting the mci 60s or 80s, what flex would be comparable ? Thanks

The Trials with the Ryoma Maxima Type D
appreciated f1, will definitely get the maxima - but may pair it with my cb46 instead of LY or diamanaX. I had crazy boron in mind earlier save some dosh for the mci's or ust prototype recoils

Post Your Ryoma Maxima Review Here!
so guys, after couple of weeks hitting & tweaking, my question is : is the maxima worth buying if one already has the vspec ? Is the additional roll, extra yards & forgiveness worth the upgrade ?

3 wood in 13 or 13.5 degree lofts
ryoma f2 13deg - easy launch off tee or deck. Hated the sound though taylormade rbz tour spoon 13 deg - super long, great off tee, harder off deck rc tour 14 deg - best of the lot, great feel but not very forgiving all played paired with fw50 sigma & fw80

S Yard XV vs. Maxima V
Thanks. Let us know how the rest pans out. I hv cb46 on my current vspec9.5, which i think is a perfect fit, as you mention, its hard work to launch it. I hv tried ly46 & diamana x on the head. Ly goes longer but harder to control, the X was way too lively for me.

S Yard XV vs. Maxima V
F1, you seem to have the maxima D for some time now. This is the head i am looking for. Can you share the shafts & its results - that you have tried on that head. Also, why a 10.5 head ? Thought it launches high. Thanks much

Shimada Pros or SteelFibres for Tourstage 709 MC's?
Thks. Still cant decide :-)

Shimada Pros or SteelFibres for Tourstage 709 MC's?
thats some serious coin for the mci's - looking at 4-pw with 2 additionals for wedges, the 100s will cost like $850. The recoils ( ex the protos ) or steelfibers are 50% of the mci's. given that i hv zero chance of testing these 3 out begore buying, are the mci's that superior over the other 2 ??

Looking for a 3 wood...
Had the RC twin rail 14deg & now using the RBZ 1st gen spoon 13 deg. RC, great feel, easy off tee & turf. The smaller head & twin rail goes through the grass smoothly. The RBZ is a monster. Very long & forgiving off tee. Even with a 13deg, i had no issues launching it off fairway. The face is hot, you could feel it off the face. Feel is not as great as RC but hey, its 20 yards longer !! I hear the stage 2 is longer. However, i notice bad shots are always pulled aggressively, but that could be my swing. Had it on the fw80 & fw50 sigma. Best combo

Fujikura MCI
whats your experience on the profile of recoil vs aero ? Thanks!
