  1. Terrible! What has the world come to...
  2. The WMF-06 has a nice soft feel...I found it working especially well to get through longer grass. I tried the lighter head and it seemed like I was hitting it a bit shorter than other wedges of the same loft. Or could be because I prefer wedges to be on the heavier side. Overall, great clubs for inside 100 yards, soft feel, great stability in full shots and good amount of spin even out of the rough.. 58* works great out of bunkers.
  3. So beautiful.. I can't wait to try these. I can already imagine the feel and ball flight... So Pure!
  4. It complete madness in the golf industry. Many people play fakes and don't even know it. They just think they got a "great deal" on authentic equipment. Lol. Got to check for little details, which is really hard to catch.

Stock Onoff's feel and look great. The refinish will make if feel like a different club.
  6. Yup.. You will lose head speed, but depending on how consistent your ball striking was, you will actually gain some yardage (on average) by hitting it in the sweet spot every time! The hard thing is to find the most efficient length, where you can maximize swing speed while hitting it in the center every time.
  7. The variety and the quality is very amazing with Crazy. I have yet to find a tight shaft that is anti-right, like the LY-02. It's hard to believe, until you actually put it in play.
  8. I like the Yururi Tours and Cleveland Forged Gunmetal... I think they have great feel and spin, and the color matches the set. Oh. and let's not forget the PRGR L.E.D wedge... also a nice looking toy!
  9. That's very interesting. I wouldn't be surprised to see more JDM stuff on the U.S. tour very soon. I know alot of tour guys can tell the difference in feel and quality when they put the equipment to use. Especially shafts, such as the Crazy.
  10. The Royal Collection line is a great fairway wood that I can depend on any time. If you are looking for alot of custom work, Kamui is great. The new VG3 woods and Onoff type-s are very simple and clean looking with lots of forgiveness and crisp feel. And do not forget that jBeam and Crazy has fairway woods that are on par with their drivers!:)
  11. The jBeam and KP-X are great combination of forgiveness, distance and feel. The Epon Zero would top in feel but it does not hit anywhere on the top of the charts for distance or forgiveness. It would be interesting to try all of them in the exact same shaft.
  12. I am very excited about the new Epon line up. Can't wait to test them as they are supposed to be amazing equipment with a little more to it than the last line ups. I'm assuming Epon will impress us again.
  13. Labospec wedge reminds me of the old Ping wedges. Its a great wedge out of the bunkers and deep grass around the greens. The weight and mass of the clubhead makes it very stable in sand or grass and gets the ball up very fast. I find it a bit harder to get used to for full swings because of how different it sets up compared to the rest of the bag (, but I must say it is a great tool to have when you plan to play a course with deep rough, especially around the greens. Like many of the clubs Shingo Katayama plays, it is made for feel and major forgiveness. Compared to the Vokey forged or Onoff forged it is definitely made more forgiving and gets the ball up quicker. I find the vokeys and onoffs are a bit more reactive in creating spin on short shots around the green. The Lapospec will stop the ball by creating trajectory while the other two create more spin.
  14. Both heads have great feel is very easy to work the ball. I would say that overall, the Baldo is better for tighter lies and off the deck shots. The Kamui is good off of the tee and trying to get a flatter trajectory to maximize run. Baldo compared to Kamui is easier to get up in the air, if that's what you are looking for.
  15. No difference in performance, but I love fresh graphics! It makes me feel good when I look at them and adds extra confidence in my head! ;) Sole looks funky, but you can't tell when you address the ball. Looks very clean.
  16. Nice review. The one thing that stands out about the GR irons was how good the mis**ts felt! Its not harsh at all, also it cuts through the thicker grass very well. Better than most "game improvement" irons I've seen. "Automatic Irons" are a great way to describe them.
  17. Nice! I love the black finish that is worn out. I noticed that most of the Yururi clubs spin alot for me. Looks like you found your combination! Now for the Driver, the jBeam heads are compact and set up very nice. They are more forgiving than they look! Also, nice scorecard!

Great stuff. The Ryoma Fairway Woods are very hot! The f2 gets up like a normal 5wood. It is designed for slower swing speeds. The stock shafts are designed for smooth, slower tempo swings. Not very flashy design, it is like a sleeper club that gets that extra pop that no one expects! This thing is very good out of tight lies, I don't think its the best thing in longer grass because of the large area of contact with the turf.

Great combo! I love the jBeam head, great feel and low spin. I love how i can work the ball easily even with the really low spin. The Diamana X sounds like a great shaft choice. Hmm. maybe I need a few rounds with your same combo. I was really surprised at how the spin can stay down in the 10* jBeam head. I has a few of my friends with similar golf games and they were really surprised since most were playing 8-9* heads with x flex shafts. Now jBeam has a few more fans. lol
  20. I really like both yururis and epons, but there is a big difference in spin. Both are soft feels but yururi irons and wedges spin the most out of any clubs I tried. Epons are good at making forgiving players clubs while yururis concentrate on spin and feel, keeping a traditional shape. Its hard to choose, ill just keep both handy;) I know that the pro tours are about half and half now when it comes to traditional style irons and more forgiving types.

The VG3's are not the greatest iron for one particular category, but they are very popular for having great overall performance. They get a lot of good reviews because it appeals to a wider range of customers and more people (low to high handicap) are putting them in play. The VG3 utility is actually popular for titleist professionals on the Japan Tour. They don't look too much like a high handicapper's set, but still has the forgiveness. Also, many of the better players looking for straight up forgiveness leans towards VG3's. As I mentioned, not the greatest feeling, longest distance, greatest looking, etc... BUT they are great for having overall performance.
  22. Correction on the 47 colors. Sorry guys the x line cc is actually in 7 colors not 47. We have it updated in the shop now. As requested, the Phiten grips will be coming soon to the pro shop.
  23. I like the Geotech tour issue wedges for the crisp feel and great reactions around the greens on shorts shots. Its not the softest feeling wedge but love how it reacts and handles around the greens. Another choice is the forged vokeys. I've always liked the looks and the shape of the USA Vokey wedges but did not like the hard feel they had. Since they produced the forged models I'm a fan of vokeys. The forged feel is noticeable on partial shots around the green and very very noticeable when hitting that full shot. Man, wedges get me fired up. I could list a few more wedges, but will keep it at that or i end up describing every wedge I thought was good. lol
  24. The finishers in Japan do a very great job. When the clubs are done, they will look like they were meant to be satin. I haven't had experience with U.S. finishers, I'm sure there are some good ones also. From what I've seen and heard, shipping to Japan will be well worth it. I'm not a fan of too much chrome either. I don't like being blinded by my own clubs during the summer. lol It would be interesting to see before and after pics if you get it done. Either from Japan or another Shop.
  25. Yup agree with that. The Romaro H is made to play closer to a blade model where the PP is designed around forgiveness and feel. But don't get me wrong, Romaro H is very forgiving for a thin blade like design they got. Its an easy transition for people that are used to playing a pure blade mode. Romaro H is much easier to work the ball.
