I'm wanting another set of blades right now or I'd have these! When Stew brought this set out for me to play I was thinking, seriously? I'm here to try out cool stuff not Taylormade crap I can play back in the States. If I too wasn't into small blades more than CBs I'd have taken those home with me at double his asking price. These easily rival my 302s and iD-BLs. I wouldn't change out the shafts in those heads for anything either, what a stunning build! I have never carried a 3iron because I just can't hit one well and this one made my chin drop (twice)! I don't think there was a shot all day that didn't make me fall in love with the feel of these clubs...

I'm still in California and have a set waiting for me at home but won't get them out until next week. I'll compare them to a few wedges when I get a chance.

I've had zero interest in 3Ws since the Tourstage X-FW Type T but this really has my attention. What are the face and head materials and what's the price range?

This has been my absolute favorite finish as soon as Chris introduced it. I cannot wait to have him do a set for me. It's gotta be something special though!!!

This club visually looks like an Epon Sus316 but with more emphasis on a meaty muscle rather than the cavity. This head has the possibility of luring me away from MBs...

That's an impressive review robbie. I agree, except that stamp, these are beauties. Please post another review after some more time with them.

Good info Chris, thanks! I have friends at Ping so I'm taking her to their headquarters to get fitted and I'll also get to see what kind of models fit her eye. She's probably going to end up with two new sets of clubs but maybe it will keep her off my back for "the golf center" as she calls it, in my loft! And yes cuistot, there will be custom paint coming! ;)

I've noticed that. Maybe the 502s aren't a bad idea at all...

Ian is right, the TR-500s are stunning. I don't know if they can play better than the ID BLs but the do look better. Chuck, think of the ID BLs as a 302 without the offset. That's how absolutely good they are!

I'm not a big CB player but my 302s and PRGR iD BLs will never leave my stable.
