  1. No, but I'll try to get out to where they are in the next couple of days and snap a couple. Was thinking of buying them and shafting them up cuz they are just so pretty. Looks like there would be a market here if I didn't like them. Has anybody hit them?
  2. A guy here in Dallas has a set of never-been-hit-or-shafted Yururi heads. Chrome finish with "prototype" stamped on them. Said he got them from TSG. Legit? You said he stamped some raw heads with prototype, any chromes? Gorgeous heads, look too nice to be fakes...
  3. From what I've read, I'm not sure anyone's been able to disprove their "spin".
  4. Edited so as not to get banned.

I like that Yammie but since you have a reputation for being a stealer I'll have to pass.
  6. OK. I'll bite. In my limited knowledge of the Japanese market, players over there are, as a general rule, are extremely interested in technology, graphics, marketing, and things that don't always, if ever, improve performance. It seems that after reading many forums that are probably fewer players there that are only interested in how it performs and are able to perceive many small differences in clubs such as ball flight, accuracy, consistency. Maybe there, as here in the U.S. as well with Taylor made, etc., the majority of players prefer to discuss the attributes of their newest and shiniest offset, cavity-backed, multi-metal-infused irons. Not trying to flame, but Miura sticks with proven, simple designs that work but aren't flashy and high-tech. Not that one's better, I like tech too, but it's no surprise to me that Miura is not more popular there, or here for that matter. Kinda like Hogan back in the day here, not many played it, and it was considered traditional and outdated, but the ones who did said nothing was better. They tried to get more modern, but it just wasn't in their DNA. Same with Miura. If they start cramming other metals into their irons or using "power slots" or something, then I'll know their days are numbered.
  7. Miura Yamaha Epon Yururi Kyoei (?)
  8. I used to hate the feel of the Odyssey putters I would try in shops in the U.S. I recently sprung for a new Odyssey iX White Hot #9 from the TSG and I gotta say it's the best putter I've had. Firmer than the others I've tried in the past, not mushy at all. Very forgiving and just rolls the ball in the hole.
  9. Well if it has to be = or shorter than 45" and at least 45.5" I don't think I can help you. *Couldn't resist.

Not a big fan of their equipment but man they know how to do a website and brochures!
  11. I've got a V202 driver with the stock GD LVII shaft. Does anyone know how much the head weighs? The driver is 46" and I want it at around 45.5 max. I have a GD DI-6 I'd like to put in it but it's cut at 45" or so and I don't want to put it in if the head is really light. Don't really like the LVII so any help would be great. May even have to spring for one of the boutique shafts like a Crazy Royal Deco or something but want to know the head weight first. Any comments? BTW, I have a Yammy Tour driver as well with the GD BB-6 that I LOVE. Just want to use the V202 as a "long drive" club for more open places. Plus it's a little more forgiving, albeit w/o the great feel of the tour; but that may be the shaft.
  12. Ive got the TS 707 driver and I quite like it, with or w/o the adjustability. I don't even touch the adjustments. Much better than the 703 and 705, I've had both. It's competing right now with the Yamaha V202 Tour driver for residence in my bag. The 707 is maybe 5-10 yards longer but the feel of the Yammy is hard to beat. WOW, that thing feels good.
  13. The 707 is more like the 701 and 901 in terms of feel. I've had the 701, 901, 703,705, and 707. The 703 and 705 were duds to me and I think they lost a lot of momentum after the really good 701 and 901. But the 707 is back to TS feel with good forgiveness and accuracy. With a really nice shaft.
  14. Best-looking staff bag ever...well, if it didn't have Deputy Dog on it.
  15. I've been using it for a couple of months, have always loved TS drivers. It finally kicked my TS 901 out of the bag. A little more forgiving on heel hits and will hit any shot you want with it. Fairly long, not uber. Love the GD BB-6 shaft in it, feels great and no ballooning whatsoever. Great driver. Surprised to not hear more about it.
