Miura 501 vs Mizuno MP64 vs Epon 501
The MP64 I'd think will be much closer to the Miura 502 than the Epon 501. Smart of you, btw, to learn the game with demanding clubs; makes you a better player.

Graphite design in a DI
Agree with the first point. On the second point, a wholesale comment like that sounds foolish when we all know shaft choice is personal and when the best golfer in the world is using one.

My very own putter project
I'll find out the capabilities of the one my son has access to and if he can learn it quickly enough for your timing, maybe he'll do it for you. We can talk on PM.

My very own putter project
Very cool! Do you have access to a CNC milling machine? My son is an early high school engineering student. As a way to give him some experience on the tools, I've talked to him about using the 3D scanner to copy one of my putters, manipulate in CAD as he sees fit, and then use the CNC to mill it. I'd have to provide materials (not crazy expensive, but I thought it would be a good experience for him.

Chujo Craft
Indeed. Epon itself clearly got a lot of inspiration from Hogan, so I'm guessing Kobayashi is a fan. I see some Macgregor in the irons as well. As far as the woods, the "speed slot" or whatever it's commonly called stood out to me. Maybe we're seeing an acknowledgement that the US companies know something about wood tech after all? ;)

Chujo Craft
Don't mean to steal any of Chris' thunder, but was very interested to come across the following: http://www.chujocraft.com The products look great (something for everybody!) and some legends are involved. Most interestingly for us here, holding prominent roles are Kenji Kobayashi of Endo/Epon and S-Yard fame and, wait for it, wait for it...Tario!!! I know you'll join me in wishing them the best and trying out what promises to be fantastic products. I know those blades have my eye...

JDM iron set for the same length shaft
PXG irons do not have removable screws, at least not the currently released models.

new (???) buchi wedge. ( i think they are new..)
May be in my future...not sure how distant, but Buchi gets enough talk that I probably can't avoid them forever. Thanks again.

new (???) buchi wedge. ( i think they are new..)
I've been thinking about a Buchi set of irons. The VS200 are interesting from a variety standpoint (relative to my stable of blades), but I'm really curious about the MT201 blades. Stew, assuming you've hit the MT201, how's the grind vs Miura Baby Blades or Masda (two pretty different grinds, I know). Much obliged.

S, did it have three little sheep? It might be the SP-101.

GRAND PRIX GP-X3 DRIVER REVIEW.
Didn't someone post something about the X1 being non-conforming and the X3 being conforming? Where'd that go?

Winter training!!
kaaayelll replied to nobmontana's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearGreat question. This is something I want to focus on this off season as well. Core srength and flexibility I think are the focus areas. The exercises...I've been lazy about investigating. Poor start, I guess...

Correct. Fees and shipping were each more than the tool.

Anyone else into skiing and snow stuff over winter?
kaaayelll replied to supo's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI rode the lift once with a professional skier at Squaw Valley (Lake Tahoe, California). He said his favorite snow is northern Japan.

The Ultimate Set of TW727 Combo Irons
P3Sweden, you should pick up the set Daniel has in the BST. You won't find a better guy to deal with and I (and several others, no doubt) can vouch for his gear; he keeps everything beautiful.
