  1. I do have both versions. I started our golf season with the normal version and now have the new version in the bag. Finish wise the new ones win out, they look gorgeous in person. The photos are really good but don't compare to seeing them in hand. They both have crazy amounts of spin and are for the most part very versatile on a variety of shots. The newer versions feel a tad harder to me then the normal versions. This isn't bad just different. Both finishes hold up well even on the higher lofted wedges i use out of the sand. I would say if you are looking for a set of versatile wedges with good spin and want a unique look the new ones are just the ticket.

J I am sure we will get a few rounds in this summer.
  7. i believe the Zen was listed at 350g
  8. D I think the Zen is on the lighter side. I added weight via Gold's to bring up the weight.
  9. Chris You are correct putting is about a lot of different factors coming together in harmony. If all factors being equal then milling does effect the roll of the ball. Since milled faces grab the ball at the moment of impact the ball doesn't jump off the face but rather being its roll down the line. This is perceived as slower pace. Flat or non-milled faces cause the ball to jump at impact and thus have greater initial acceleration which is perceived as faster pace.
  10. Guys i have been working with different milling patterns to find the one that works best under each condition. My home track has crazy fast greens. I found the PZ milling from golds works great here, the Machine putter milling also works well When i play my brothers home course the greens are slower i use a Lajosi with no milling on it. This plan works well for me and has more effect on the roll then the overall weight of the club.

Thanks B I am happy with the bags
  12. 355-360 at 34inches is my sweet spot. Use different milling patterns on the face based on speed of greens. Faster greens more aggressive mill, slow greens very little milling.
  13. I got these wedges from TSG. They look even better in person. Perform just like the other Tataki wedges. Spin exceptional and very versatile out of different lies.

D The Quadra shafts are very nice. Stable shaft with good feel. Ball flight is mid for me. They work great in the Kuro irons. I in the past have only played steel shafts and dabbled with graphite shafts. These for me a more lively and preform better then the MCi or Roddio shafts. The Roddio's need a smooth transition to maximize the potential of the shaft and the MCI can feel a little to smooth sometimes.

D I was trying to create as heavy a putter as i could with the zen. The point was to keep the putts on line. So 5 weights were added and we went with a heavy putter shaft the Quadra Fire Express Putter shaft. The sole weights were made flush with the sole of the head so no unwanted turf interaction occurs. The finish and milling on the face were left untouched. All in all this is a great putter that works for me. The yamada wide blade is also heavier after its visit with Golds

M These ones are like socks. They are snug so when walking they don't fall off. Great purchase. I don't like the velcro or zipper ones as they fall off regularly

  23. Like E i have had and continue to play the Kamui Nitro. A great club, very long and easy to keep in play My current gamer is the Vspec D1, just a great head especially with the right shaft I have tested the Glorious, 535, GP one minute and a few USDM drivers The Vspec is still tops
