Got my 3W and utility yesterday. For anyone that is not thinking about these Modart woods, you should be :) They overall just perform. Probably the best all around performing wood I have EVER hit. And with my crazy OCD gear addition, I have hit almost everything :)

Robbie is a saint! I was bummed by missing the Modart and he personally hand delivered the head for me to try it out and I have to say, it is not leaving my bag ;) The feel is amazing. Its this crunchy soft feel, great distance and forgiveness and just beautiful to look at. I couldn't get the TRPX Air to work in it (its the shaft, not the head), so I am putting in my gamer Crazy LY01 shaft from another head and I think that will seal the deal. Just from my experience with the head, it is on par with all the other great heads on distance, more forgiveness than similar profile heads (435, TRPX D-031, etc), better feel, better feedback, better to look at :) I am now a HUGE Modart fan. The driver, fairways and utility all perform. This is no joke, this brand is the real deal. Now, if they made a player's cavity blade similar to a 316, I would be in HUGE trouble.

I am also trying the Air in a Modart D head at 45.25". A very active tip and just starting to get used to the profile. I can't imagine how it is at the length you are trying! I agree with Duff, before you tip, maybe grab a Touale and see if that profile is better for your swing as the resale will be higher for the Air if you don't tip, etc later?

Sometimes you need an iron like this. Brushed satin and you can almost get close to the 503s in looks. Does it have an undercut in the cavity? Does it have that little "click" that we are used to in the 503s?

I gamed the Modart 19* FW again today and had a rough round and this was the only club that was saving me. My drives were high fades that continued to put me in long rough, move around trees, etc. I hit this off the tee, fairway and many various rough lies and it just performed. I mean, 220 off a side hill rough lie with great height and distance. It rocked. These are the real deal (had a Crazy FW80 in it which was a great combination). I might need to swim halfway across the Pacific to try to meet me 3W halfway :). This is also making me look at the Modart D :)

I think its all closed off to not have the nitrogen leak, so you won't be able to hotmelt, etc.

Wow... Wow... Absolutely great gear.

Not a huge fan of the stamping but I do like that muscle on the blade, maybe positioned to even get more help to launch the ball compared to other MBs...
