  1. is there going to be a write up for the new driver/fw/ut shafts also?
  2. gregoire56 replied to upnin's post in a topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
Wow really cool gear, def very desirable, GLWS
  3. Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for, only other question is do you know the weight? If it's at least 70g I'd like to buy it so let me know how much you'd want, I didn't see a price listed in the original post
  4. gotcha, thanks for the info. think I'm going to take your advice and shaft a set of the Shimada Tour's. if I don't like them I can always switch to the Modus3 120's also, by the way, I'm loving the i-33! thanks again for that beauty
  5. ...also, I see you have a bag of extra weights for the ZY-11 head, is there any chance you have one or two 8g weights in there that you'd be willing to sell apart from the head?
  6. How long is the Crazy FW shaft? Has it been tipped at all? I see it's labeled 8.7 flex, is that equal to x-stiff? Last question.. what kind of bend profile does it have (low/mid/high trajectory)?

There's a 5-pw set of these in the pro shop under the Closeout Sale section, both the 2016 VG3 Forged and 2016 VG3 Forged Type D are on there
  8. thanks Doug. If you had to choose one or the other for low/mid launch and really tight dispersion, would you go with Shimada Tour's built to X flex or Modus3 120TX? also, does anyone know if Shimada makes a K's model iron shaft that's comparable to the green label Tour iron shaft?

    PM sent regarding M3
  10. hola amigos looking to buy one or two 8g head weights for jBEAM/Crazy driver heads. the heaviest weight available in the kit is 6g, I have two of those already and one 8g, and I'd like to buy two more 8g weights if possible. thanks
  11. Ian took the words right out of my mouth, white satin hides the offset well. I amend my previous statement... #1 white satin #2 black IP #3 black mirror. at least that's my vote for these iron heads, the order really depends on the head in question. for instance the new Seven CB's my #1 would be black IP, for the Shinagawa's #1 white satin, the MCB #1 black mirror
  12. thanks for bringing up this topic... I'm currently using KBS Tour 120g shafts in my irons, the 120g's are typically built out to stiff flex frequency but mine are built to 6.5 which is x-stiff for the 120g's. I really like the feel and performance of this build with my forged heads even though the shafts are a little light for their flex, but I have another set of the same iron heads that I've been thinking about shafting with either Modus3 120 X's or Shimada Tour's in X flex and I haven't been able to decide between the two. I prefer a heavier mid-low/mid launching iron shaft, so I guess my questions are: 1. do you have any experience with the Shimada Tour iron shaft? 2. if so, are you able to compare it to the Modus3 120 and/or KBS Tour? 3. do you know which Shimada K's model is comparable to the green label Tour iron shaft? 4. based on my iron shaft preference that I mentioned, would you have a recommendation for either the Modus3 120 or Shimada Tour? I currently use Shimada shafts in my wedges and I love them, I have the green label Tour Wedge's in one set and the K's HW120's in another, so I know I like Shimada but I've never tried the green label Tour iron shafts or the Modus3 120's so I have no basis for comparison between them and my current KBS Tour's.
  13. black IP looks amazing +1

thanks very much for posting this question on here Vegaman. I had some interest in itobori stuff but was hesitant to pull any triggers because of the prices and some of the info that's floating around, now that I know all this everything makes sense. Chris, I also want to thank you for being so forthcoming about the situation. I'm sure I speak for most TSG'ers when I say that we greatly appreciate the fact that you've stayed so true to your fanbase, and use your platform and influence to promote honest marketing and fair dealer practices for the consumers. Cheers to you mate
  18. Thanks very much for the info. Those new wedges do look awesome. I also agree that I'd love to see him come out with irons too.

Nice! Did you wind up going with the Kiyoshi Purple? If you do ever want to try out one of the TourAD HY shafts let me know. I don't have one, I use the DI Hybrid, but I may be able to find you one for a good price. I got mine straight from Pro's Choice (Graphite Design's distributor) brand new for a real good price.

http://golf wrx/447988/james-patrick-has-re-emerged-and-hes-ready-to-fit-you-for-wedges/ Just read this article and thought it was interesting. I wanted to post it on here to see if anyone else has used or heard of these wedges. According to the article, these may become the new Titleist Japan wedges, does anyone know if there's any truth to this? Any feedback or additional info on these would be appreciated.

When you say the Grandista is "sound insulated" are you talking about the head being factory foamed? If so, do you know if it's possible to purchase heavier weights since it can't be hot melted?
  23. Well said, couldn't agree more
