OMG this looks so sick! You have a collection can you comment on feel which one you like best, what you notice?

Yes alcantara + carbon is sooo pure. My pal traded his GT3 997 for an RS and the RS is just too race for me. Not a car I would want to go to dinner in. It's track. I'm considering trading in the maz for a new turbo (non S), it won't get the the same looks but it's superior in every way i think. How do you think an offspec color like Ferrari's rosso corsa red would look? I think better than the guards red Porsche offers it's either that or black.

New kid on the block: Triple X - TRPX?!
TourSpecGolfer replied to mauvanilla's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I just played about 8 rounds in Hawaii with the D-013 and X-Line proto. ( Sorry can't post pics yet ). I took the 435 boron with me as well. For 7 rounds I drove the ball like poo and that's with both drivers. notes: - These two drivers are similar yet different - The D013 has a deeper face than the 435 - The D-013w/Xline flew lower than the 435 consistently. Both are mid trajectory but Xline produced a Mid/Low for me. I'm going up in loft. - they both do well with the same tee height. - looking at specs of both the D013 is just a hair more "player" with it's slightly higher and more forward CG. - TRPX feels noticeably better off the face - My proto X-line did not kick as hard as the boron I didn't seem to have the speed to harness it fully. I had a really hard time judging distance, both had their long and short as I hit many poorly on both clubs on F'n crazy courses like Prince Course in Kauai which gave me fits! After my course re opens after re seeding I'm going to swap shafts and take them both out again. -
Fourteen CT 112 driver..... WOW!
TourSpecGolfer replied to driverhead's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I hit this with the stock shaft and it does feel fantastic, I don't remember it very well but I think my issue was something they do with the neck and shape near the heel that I didn't prefer. Fourteen is kinda like Tourstage & Srixon, they make amazing products but it just doesn't have that following, perhaps too big box? -
Your so right about the Vokey Forged, I personally always wanted it smaller as I like compact wedges. It's unfortunate that these aren't S20 Forged by Endo but I'm almost positive these will sell like hot cakes.

4E & 4E Name are my favorites -
I can't get over my Type-R UT's w/ Crazy Black UT shafts. Best UT I've hit.
-
I think cold forged is for marketing purposes, If it's no longer made at Endo it's probably because they are expensive compared to other manufactures.
-
They should have named it after the 388 how similar it is.

This puppy is brand new, I think it will be a bit.

We've sat with top gents all designers. I don't remember all the details but yes lie angle effects a lot as far as all the measurements, placements, etc..
-
I've got one in stiff in great shape but can't ship for 2 weeks. 50 bucks.

Epon's in house team with the help of Niimi Kiyonari. I've never hit them only heard the opinions of industry folk. I do really like Epons classic designs.

The new PRGR iD Nabla "TOUR" iron, I guess that's the term still Tour, meaning it's their most compact player profile forged iron in the line up. Many gloss over PRGR's irons but I can say they make them proper and keep up even in some cases surpass the big boys. We often see PRGR pushing the envelope, it's a trend we see across many of their designs but new Nable Tour iron here is subtle, it's refined and goes head to head against some of the more playeresque TSG favorites. The Nabla Tour folks, check it out.. Made by Endo Japan using their prime grade S20C the Nabla tour feels wonderfully soft and pure. it's very compact with a nice thin top line and very little offset. It's predecessor the Nabla Black was cool with it's alpha gel pockets and sexy design but it was still a good bit larger, well the new "TOUR" is perfection in size. Comparing the last version to this one it's night and day. Check this out, the Black features a nickel chromium molybdenum steel face with and S20C iron body, with 3-5 irons having vibration absorbent foam and nickel steel inside but also an alpha gel inside 6-8 irons and solid 9-PW. That's a lot into an iron! The new "Tour" is S20C soft forged. Pretty simple, very sexy in my opinion. Another thing is the lofts big difference the Black was jacked the Tour has more traditional lofts with 27* 5 iron and 46* PW. These will be in the TSG pro shop shortly

Type R is more traditional style while F3 & Egg's are not. I have not tried the new Egg waiting for Crazy to build it and send it over now.
-
The XV is awesome! The GS is just released now so it will be in the store shortly. I hear ya on hollow F3, it's the result that counts for that club. It's still hollow with an FW80 so it's not the shaft although it feels much more stable and sturdy.
-
The FW80 has been my go to in FW's for years now. FW80 + F3 is still an all time favorite of mine. Equal to the Type R. It just goes straight!
-
Pretty good woods, deeper faced and nice feel. I played the stock stiff shaft for a few rounds I would rock this club with an 80 gram shaft.

New kid on the block: Triple X - TRPX?!
TourSpecGolfer replied to mauvanilla's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
T, any idea what my proto is? My brain was thinking 60-65g is it actually 70-75? If so results are beautiful, small issue leaking it right but other players who hit it are sending it dead straight. -
My personal rankings in order. RomaRo Type-R George Spirits Mono FW Ryoma F3 S-Yard XV For my score of all 4 the Ryoma is best. It only goes straight with the FW80. It's got more carry than all the others with a hair less roll. Most distance (for me) tied George Spirits with Type-R. Best feel Type-R & George Spirits.

388 users what reshaft has worked for you?
TourSpecGolfer replied to bruinduke's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
Ya don't go with the RD if you haven't done well with lighter shafts. You can drop myself or T a PM talk about your tempo, ss, good and bad, what you use now and what you do or don't like about it, etc..
