  1. They can't re brand it because they don't make it themselves, they have kyoei make it who offers this head with a grind. Not that that's terrible but your stuck with the overall shape and at a price you have so many other original design options to choose from. But by all means go for it if its your ideal wedge.
  2. Not popular is an understatement. Open model are pre made designs that you can put your own logo on. Literally you can buy their clubs from the same place they do and write your name on the head. For this sort of money you can do a lot better.
  3. I love the original 450 George Spirits head, I still take it out from time to time. Thats Crazy's #1 selling driver. New one looks good too, must try.
  4. Never heard of these but the difference is Yururi uses original molds on their wedges and sells for half that price while these are open model.
  5. Usually they announce in mid Feb around the Tokyo Golf Show.
  6. Looks like you know your stuff, I hate Delta like you but nothing beats the Amex Reserve. Then there is the issue if you travel with someone getting bumped off the top spot because they don't carry status as well. We just finally made Diamond on delta and only now is it starting to pay off. nothing much at silver/gold/plat except the occasional upgrade. but now its a lot more frequent. sad part is you must buy a full price ticket to use points to upgrade your travel partners seat. which makes no sense if the discounted rate is 1600 for a ticket and the full fare is 5000 why not just buy business class. frustrating, did i write this post to vent? haha. nothing beats the Hyatt especially at Diamond. Does Marriot status match you? Just looking for other people who are as nuts as I am, doing millage runs and dumping hotel stays to reach status. Totally worth it imo.
  7. We have many professionals on the site, many who travel constantly. I'm addicted to airline & hotel status and stress every year on how to maintain my status. It's become a game/addiction. wondering what hotel, airline programs you guys use. I'm a firm believer that Hyatt Passport provides the best program for hotels while Delta Amex Reserve + company expenses are the best way to get the most from airlines. what do you guys do? Any status junkies out there?
  8. Yea I was having the same issue with a couple different types of shafts and it ultimately lead me to stop fitting myself based on flex and swing speed and more so the result. I had to go up in flex which killed a bit of the feel for me but things are more steady now. I know a lot of people who are in the same boat and in the past have jumped to another shaft thinking well its my flex and it isn't working so its gotta be the shaft but timing is the key. Need to have a shaft that matches your timing properly and as close as possible on even bad days.
  9. It's Tario's birthday! You guys already know just as well as I what a big heart T has! He goes the extra mile for thousands of customers each year, He goes out of his way to make sure everyone it taken care of and recieves the most amazing servic! TSG is extremely lucky to have you in charge and there is really nothing I can say to express our gratitude appreciation for all you do. Have a great week T, you deserve it buddy!
  10. Damascus is another trend, just like GSS. If you guys want a great material try Aluminum, not as cool at all right? but feels really good, soft. On the other side you can use carbon or stainless and get a softer feel than Damascus via certain milling designs. I'm trying a Damascus insert GF on a scotty cameron putter soon. I'm playing that Odyssey Tour iX Black with PZ milling right now.
  11. नमस्ते (namaste) Hello India! last year we expanded operations into China and while it hasn't been easy at all it's been very good for the company and it's exposure globally. This year we are headed to India to meet with a few golf industry insiders about expanding into this fascinating country. We know it's an extremely small golf market but we also know it's got quite a sizable amount of golfers who enjoy other luxury goods and why not try our hand at introducing them to the best golf clubs in the world. We are looking for brand partners who would like to meet with us in New Delhi this October. If you live in India or have business contacts that you think may be interested in meeting please drop me an email at [email protected] We have no expectations just yet, this is a trip to tour the country and find out it if its a viable option for the TSG business model. Thank you! Just for kicks I decided to insert an inspiring video about the story of a caddy from the slums who makes it big with the support of a kind sponsor. TSG is seeking golf contacts in India who are interested in building India's first high end golf equipment company. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPcNAjTJCWk
  12. If I had the coin I would totally get a singer 911. http://singervehicledesign.com/
  13. We always send Yururi out for aftermarket installs so pretty much any shaft. Most people buy Yururi as heads only and have their club maker build it.
  14. We've only sold 4-5 of these drivers that's prob why the lack of talk about them.
  15. We get to hear what their biggest competitors and "the man" thinks about the new designs. I'll just say no one will be copying them in the foreseeable future.
  16. A sexy blade is in the works, still a whiles away though.
  17. I saw these back in Feb and was disappointed. We were originally told we would love the new players iron coming.. then noticed they have an undercut cavity.. not very player but ok, then we noticed it's bigger than the GT-S iron.. I can deal with that but then the big bummer for me was that the gear and the XV are stickers! F'n stickers on a chrome head. Can't believe it, I'm sure they perform really well. It's cavity is progressive changing through out the set to help CG placement, it's got the hosel weighting system which is something new.. I just can't get over the fact they would ugly it up like this. We submitted a design that removed the stickers, changed the finish, made it darker, cooler, cleaner with no stickers with no luck. From above it's not bad so if you don't mind the back I'm almost positive these will perform really well. As for size it sits between the 502 & 702.
  18. These are not hard to get a hold of at all. PM Tario if you want one.
  19. Nice! Palau huh I gotta consider that in the future. Anyone hear of Raja Ampat? On gear man this is whats caught my eye: Atomic Aquatics Dive Computer.
  20. Any divers here? Been a reef freak my entire life. For some reason most my life I was anti scuba pro free dive, tanks but no tanks! :) Now im getting certified for Scuba and my god is the equipment fun! So many options and cool devices.
  21. This week lots of new Callaway JDM gear will be added to the proshop. Looks pretty good as most of it's for the better player.
  22. I think that the Ryoma F3 has advanced FW performance, it doesn't sound or feel the best but its noticeably straighter by a wide margin imo.
  23. lol! Meniscusy, please explain I want to use that one :)
