  1. Underrated blades imo. The feel is so good on these, They also feature a tungsten weight near the moving the CG more to the center.
  2. Yes we posted pics back in the golf show coverage and on FB. I had one right after the show It was pretty good except for the color of the head and the giant racing stripe. They even have a mirror chrome head if we want to see your reflection on the tee box. Although it says Manufacturing studio Japan they don't make the drivers themselves.
  3. Yes Metal Factory, it's owned by Asahi golf and if you want these let us know. It's main draw is the red, yellow, and blue paint jobs they put on the driver. Yuck! they do have black though. Another thing is Asahi golf is known not to update their product lines often enough so this brand is based on only 1 driver in different colors and that's it. Supposed to have good distance.
  4. Wait till u guys see the two custom CBs and custom wedges. Stunning!
  5. Yes it would make sense to try that shaft as well. Ive got a pull GT7 going in next. I did the BB6 in it but yanked it as it was a little much fade for my swing.
  6. Will add to the pro shop this week and begin testing how it compares to other wedges and the GTSW Pro which I really really like. For the George Spirits fans out there a bit of good news if your looking to upgrade your wedges. The new GTSW2 was just released and it looks stunning, the wedge is made, finished, and milled in Japan featuring one of the more durable gloss black finishes I have seen in the golf market. It's geared toward the average player who wants a thin top line and what appears to be onset which is the opposite of offset where the leading edge extends beyond the neck line.
  7. What type of CB look you going for? Please describe what you are looking for based on what looks good to you then I can come up with some similar suggestions.
  8. If you like the 460ZR give the Crazy 435 a shot. Doesn't feel as good, still very sweet at impact but longer and less spin. What we are noticing is that people who liked a lower flight deep face driver fell in love with the D-1 and were expected something very similar for the Maxima which is what Ryoma created except the face was a bit more shallow, it launched a little higher and played softer in the tip than the D1. Outside of that all the same things apply, find the proper shaft & specs and you get tons of carry & roll. As much or more than the 388 & XV imo. Off the start I held onto my SYD's dearly but then eventually discovered that this Maxima can be a bigger bomber. I'm not as accurate with the Maxima but It's all around very straight long and easy to hit. Remember when everyone was buying up 388s and saying there is a break in period while others were saying there is no break in needed? Well the same thing is going on here with this driver. Every driver has a break in period unless your lucky and the stock config fits you perfectly. I've seen guys hit low shots with tons of roll with this head thats whats going on for me right now playing a DI-7 stiff in mine. Right now it's both the CRZ 435 w/Boron & Maxima w/DI-7 in rotation while the SYDs are out for demo.
  9. I have Srixon's & RomaRo's with MCI's & my gamer the GS Mono 3D with Recoil 120 Stiff. The Recoils feel great and fly straight for graphite. Distance is very good compared to steel imo. With steel a smooth swing vs power swing would give me 10yds with Recoils I get it out even more. Not sure how that plays into distance control though. MCI slightly by a hair more accurate. doesn't feel as soft but still feels great. more metallic feel obviously. The heads are different but I'm getting the hunch they don't add much distance as the Recoils. I like the Recoils for feel & dispersion MCI.
  10. Yesterday I test drove this: Went to they Wynn to get my seat fixed on the mas and they asked if I wanted to heat test a couple of pre production Ghibli's so I gave it a spin. The car was covered inside with padded material I could barely see the dash, duck tape everywhere, electronic batteries and computers in the passenger seat and both rear seats then this nauseating wrap they put on it. Maserati is taking it a whole different direction than other luxury car makers. can't comment on the features as this car was obviously a test mule but it's a 4 door sedan with an almost unusable tiny back seat yet the car is huge. For the design emotion they had to slope the rear like that which kills any space in the back. BUT this car grumbles & gurgles, it's loud, its prob the best handling and most brutal luxury sedan I've ever driven. I drove AMG's and the new M5 dispite the AMG's having more HP this mas feels like how AMG's need to be. Mas is going for a totally different angle on this that I can now appreciate. It's not quiet efficent luxury, It's loud, sexy, and emotional. Sat in the new QP as well. love the size, love the sound. Anyway the Ghibli is stupid expensive for what it is. Don't know how they expect to sell 25,000 units. It road super solid. Powerful. Was invited back to drop off my car and take the proto for another day. no thanks, not fun driving around with no air con when its above 110*

wow these are sharp! & hard to find.
  12. Very good review F1, I agree having the right shaft is a major influence on dispersion.
  13. wow thats a wild story btw nice 460! Whiplash sucks but ya never know sometimes Injuries are strange, my father in law had limited range of movement in his shoulder while golfing, he fell off a ladder landed on his shoulder and got his full range of movement back... Now playing to a 2hcp. I hope the whiplash adds 15 yds to your drives and heals soon.
  14. Keep the boron for another head. You will find a heavier tip stiff shaft does wonders for this head. I had the exact same issue that you did.
  15. Thats cool you drove the LFA. Must have been nice. Your IS-F is a beast! I love the new IS F-Sport digital gauges inspired by the LFA.
  16. I know a guy who has an LFA also just about everything else. Hands down he loves his LFA the best. It doesn't have the best 0-60time or quarter mile but its the most refined, advanced tech, quality made and least problems. Yamaha also made its soundtrack!
  17. Did someone try to drill the hosel for maybe a .350? I don't see Endo missing it then SYD on top of that.
  18. I really think the problem is the Royal Deco, It's light and very soft compared to other shafts in the same flex. All my stiff shafts in 198g heads @45" come out to 252-257 cpm's. I've had stiff flex RC shafts in at 235cpms at the same setup. Some customers go up 2 flexes with the Deco. The Maxima already has higher launch characteristics than other hot clubs out like the 388, XV, RomaRo & GS. Also due to hosel design shafts typically play a little tip soft in that head anyway. I love my Maxima in a tip stiff, heavier shaft that keeps me stable and lowers my ball flight a ton.
  19. Crazy always says last batch and that's it but many of their top accounts continue to demand more so they decide to re release. It's happend like 5 times already. Toyoshima doesn't want to go to Kyoei and grind wedges all day. Each run has slight differences. I've given up trying to label them as even protos of the protos exist
  20. You love these heads don't you? I need to try one.
  21. This isn't as big and clunky as the 901 or most driving irons and better yet it feels awesome at impact. When I saw it back in Feb it had much more offset than this. The Tabuchi models we will present to you guys will be minimal offset so everyone can add offset if they like.
  22. For you it should be the RomaRo. The XV is a little shallow, not bad I just know you like a little more depth than that.
  23. Your right, Maserati doesn't have very good quality and yes many issues. The engine sounds great but what I want most is technology and quality. I have had zero problems with our GS then LS but every euro i've had since i started driving has had some sort of issue or beyond. Also lexus service is awesome. I really love that RS6 Avant!
  24. I never did the EGG I+. One of the few I haven't gotten around to yet. EGG HD yes I had one of those recently, started with a Fubuki Alpha 75 then into the FW80. Feel of the Type-R is so many levels better and it's much easier to elevate the ball as well. I found the HD a little low and unforgiving, this "R" has a face depth that would make me think the same but it gets a higher. Very nice trajectory and easy to hit. It's really no comparison imo. This RomaRo wins hands everywhere except the tee box. I found the HD pretty good off the tee but not from the turf and especially the rough.
